Summer In "The Boat"

Summer is far from being over! Steamboat in the summertime is packed with fun activities and events! In fact, there’s so much to do, that we decided to gather all of the info in one post so you can easily bookmark it and consult it over the next few months.

Strings Music Festival. June 23- August 20. The festival features orchestra, chamber, soloists, world, blues, jazz and rock music along with a Youth and Family series and free concerts at the Yampa River Botanic Park. Music on the Green. June 23- Aug. 11. 12:15pm-1pm. Weekly at the Yampa River Botanic Park. Free to the public. Come and enjoy lunch while listening to music in a beautiful setting! Tour de Steamboat. July 23. Starts at 8am at Little Toots Park and Yampa Street. Join over 1,000 cyclists in this non-competitive road bike event. There are 4 mileage options so you can enjoy going at your own pace. http://www.tourdesteamboat.com/

Starts Charity Ride. August 20 (date subject to change). Bike ride benefiting recreational programs for people with disabilities including: Autism, Cancer Survivors, Wounded Warriors, and Cognitive & Physical Disabilities. Olympic Triathlon. August 21. 8:00am. Starts at Lake Catamount. The Steamboat Triathlon features a sprint distance, Olympic distance, and aquabike. To register, click here:
