The Beach access across the street is always clean and well kept. SkyRun is a nice efficiency studio. It's well decorated and doesn't feel cramped for a couple. We would definitely stay there again. The unit is a little hard to find at first but so convenient to everything in the area. We did have issues with wifi the first day - which is not Skyruns fault at all, the HOA controls this and they were in contact with them consistently as well as us about the status of it coming back on. Normally, not a huge issue but it had been raining with my 2 year old. Not a big deal and Skyrun was wonderful about communication & making sure it came back on. The space is beautiful and quaint - its what we needed for our family of three. Your beach access is across the road and down some stairs, but, you can walk down a little ways to public if you dont want to drag a wagon down the stairs. Its also a private beach - so no tents or canopies. Upside to that - way less busy and the rental process for chairs and an umbrella is super simple. The pool is nice and was a good break from the beach for my little one. All the shops were convenient and nice as well! We are VERY pleased with our stay and would 100% stay again. The room was a lot more spacious than we anticipated! A short walk across the street to the beach. We cooked most breakfasts and a few dinners and most cooking utensils were available. Some things we wish we had been given a heads up about was the unit doesnt provide the basics for cooking i.e salt, pepper, olive oil. They provided 4 towels for the week which with two people showering several times a day didnt really work for us. There is a laundry room on site. We were able to buy laundry pods and do a load of towels but they were not provided for us. We were also only provided one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. When we expressed concern to the host he was very accommodating though! Also be aware of you stay a week the beach access code changes! We had to get the code from other people entering the beach. We love that we could see the waves from the balcony. Very convenient location w coffee, beach shop and ice cream right down stairs. Its also nice that theres a laundry room that can be used! This studio was conveniently located. A quick walk down stairs and youd reach a bunch of cute stores, the beach, and a few places to eat out! The bed was comfy, the small kitchen had every thing I had needed to cook, and the bath was nice! Mind you, we had problems with the water, it got cold after a few minutes of hot water running, but it wasnt a big deal. Overall, I would love to come back!! The area has everything you need if you want to stay local. We frequented the Sunrise Coffee shop downstairs quite often. There are lovely local artist booths set up below as well. If want to drive down the road a little on 30a, there was a scenic nature trail at Grayton Beach State Park, and we loved the food trucks in Seaside! Overall, a great stay! Alex Stayed Sep, 2020 Review It's rare to find a place for rent on Airbnb that looks better in person than it does in photos, but that was certainly the case with this property. When we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the high ceilings, cleanliness, and the decor. Check-in was an easy process and we found the Gulf Place location to be fantastic - plenty of parking, just a walk across 30A to get to a private beach, and lots of nearby options for food and drinks. The spacious balcony and the bathroom (featuring both a shower and a huge jacuzzi tub) are the highlights of a property that lacks any major issues that might cause a less comfortable stay. I highly recommend staying here and hope to rent the property again on future beach trips!
