Tucked just down the street from Bear Mountain, this remodeled 2-bedroom cabin offers the kind of Big Bear experience guests come back for, the quiet of the forest right in your backyard and easy access to the slopes for mountain biking.

Step out onto your private deck, grill your favorites on the BBQ, and take in unfettered national forest views before slipping into the hot tub under the stars. With Fern and Bristlecone trails just beyond the property, you can hike straight from the cabin into some of Big Bear’s most scenic terrain.

Inside, the home is thoughtfully updated while keeping that classic cabin charm. The open living space brings everyone together to share memorable meals at the dining table, play games, or relax by the fireplace after a full day outside.

Outdoor Experience

The Perfect Getaway Spot

This cabin was exactly the reset we needed. It sits right on the edge of the forest, so it\'s wonderfully quiet, but you\'re still just a quick drive from town if you need anything. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-equipped — genuinely everything you need is already there. We\'d forgotten to bring coffee and found some waiting for us, which was a nice surprise. Check-in was smooth and easy. Serena from SkyRun stopped by to make sure everything was in order and kept in touch throughout our stay, which added a lot of peace of mind. If you\'re looking for a place to truly decompress — far enough from the city to feel like a real escape, but close enough that you\'re never far from what you need — this is a great spot. We\'d happily come back.

The cabin was so cozy; it was so homey and comfortable and it a quiet area within driving distance of the village and spots to eat. The view from the cuzzi was breathtaking, I couldn’t get enough of it! I absolutely plan to be back for another perfect stay 🙂

Amazing place! By far the cleanest Air BnB we’ve stayed in! Just as described! Beautiful scenery just steps from the back door! Quiet and peaceful getaway! Amazing location!! Minutes away from the main strip, but far enough away! Great coffee and breakfast spots less than 5 minutes away! Will definitely be coming back here!!

Review

There's a lot to do in Big Bear, but the kids and I especially loved our time in nature right outside the cabin doors. From watching chipmunks and birds at breakfast, to exploring the trails in the forest, and breathing the sweet, summer night air before soaking in the hot tub after dinner, Bear Haven was the mountain escape we were looking for! Definitely coming back to this cozy and beautiful cabin nestled in nature. I noticed a fold out sofa bed too, which will be good when my kids are older and want more space.

Had an excellent stay!!! Incredibly friendly and attentive host, very quick to respond. Gorgeous backyard access to nearby trail, clear open view of the natural forest surroundings while still close to The Village and nearby zoo. Would stay again! 🙂
