Funky Mermaid
Home was mostly very clean. Mattresses, pillows, sheets, all good. Pocket doors close off hallways and keep noise down for sleeping. Appeared to be an older family home with lots of fun memories. Loved to find the family children's names, dates, ages, and heights marked on laundry room wall. Gracie, Abby and Alek must have had a great life on the island. However, some of the old furniture, bed spreads, drapes, and decor items are beyond life expectancy, dirty, broken, cluttered and need to be discarded. A few window cranks weren't operable. Give me $5000.00 and one (1) week to declutter and turn it into a fabulous 5 Star property!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crazy Mermaid on Anna Maria Island, booked through Sky Run Vacation Rentals, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped into this charming fun vacation home, we were greeted with a perfect blend of comfort, style, and entertainment. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the private pool, providing a delightful oasis for our family to unwind. The pool area was immaculately maintained, offering a serene atmosphere for both relaxation and play. It became our go-to spot to start off and end the day after of exploring. The property's strategic location on the canal was a dream come true, providing us with convenient access to a private dock. This feature allowed us to indulge in various water activities, creating a sense of adventure right at our doorstep. The proximity to the Pier and beaches was a game-changer for us, as it made exploring the beauty of Anna Maria Island effortlessly accessible. The Crazy Mermaid exudes a playful yet comfortable vibe, making it the ideal setting for a family getaway. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals, cooked on the outside grille adding to the overall feeling of a home away from home. Sky Run Vacation Rentals proved to be a reliable and customer-focused experience during our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring a seamless experience greatly contributed to our satisfaction. We absolutely loved this house! We are born and raised in bradenton but never really have the chance to hang out on the island much. So we decided to have a staycation here. The pool is heated and we were able to easily get our boat in and out on the channel. Even though we only had one car is PLENTY of parking space. The beds were super comfy and you can tell they really take pride in making sure your stay is nice. We had a few questions and when I asked they responded very quickly. We plan on renting this house again for sure!

Enjoyed our stay. There is a large beautiful mango tree in backyard, and we saw dolphins from the dock. Location is walkable to beach, Ana Marie city pier and restaurants. Home has great character and met our needs.

Roomy, needs more comfortable bed on main floor. Needs nicer sheets. Pillows . Yes, the door buzzed as everyone says to walk out to the screened porch. Not enough time to get out the door. My husband fell trying to get out & is all bruised up. Need grab bars in the shower. Luckily. I was able to reach him, so he could bring a math mat due to the tub being slippery. Sure wish they had bikes or kayaks we could have used. Nice pool. Loved the canal view. Quiet street. Wish the neighbors across canal had dimmers on their bright lights at night. I wanted a place with a pool, canal view, screened in porch and laundry this had all. It was only my husband & I. I don't understand why the rate Included almost double what we were charged per night for a cleaning fee and some other random fee. Pretty ridiculous. We only used 1 bedroom & 1 bath. I wish more places had closet up mirrors. Not as nice as photos made it look. But we enjoyed Anna Marie Island.

Had a great experience in our rental. The home was exactly as described and pictured. Close to lots of great restaurants and shopping while still being quiet and peaceful at night. Would definitely suggest staying here to anyone who asked!

Great stay at Crazy Mermaid in AMI. Great location on the island, good layout for multiple guests, heated pool, well stocked house! Working direct with SkyRun was MUCH better than working through a 3rd party booking site and I would suggest anyone to do the same. Excellent communication and price for this 'value' property (which we found to be nice for a rustic beach house!)

Great hosts and I would book again. House is outdated, which you can see clearly in photos so it was no surprise. The pool was clean and warm, the screened in porch was perfect for lounging, and the space was perfect for two small families. One family with two kids stayed downstairs while another family with one child stayed upstairs (so we had our own space despite staying in the same house). We fished off of the dock, and saw many dolphins swimming in the canal. We were Walking distance to what turned into our favorite restaurant (The waterfront). The walk to the beach was a little less convenient, but not horrible. The hosts made this property very enjoyable, as they were very responsive and helpful in some special requests we had. Definitely recommend this host!

The house is great. We reallyEnjoyed our stay. The pool was awesome and the dock was great. Location was awesome. Very close to all of the shops and restaurants. We lost power for a little bit, but that was because a transformer in the neighborhood went out. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

This is an older rental with older supplies and had a few missing items (dish towels, extra blankets), but was very functional and clean. Location and price were excellent, but manager is not close by so if something needed it can take a while. SkyRun did everything that they could, but we had the mishap of the furnace breaking while there. A new furnace was needed and could not be installed until after our visit. We received a 25% discount and were supplied with space heaters. We loved being close to the pier and not far from the beach. Very nice dock out back on the canal. Set up of house worked well for a group of 8.

Pool heater broke so pool was cold. But host was very responsive and tried his best to do what he could on a weekend to get it addressed. House was very clean and in nice neighborhood.

Great Stay
We just returned from a 5 night stay. It was amazing! The house was great, we saw dolphins, manatee and a small shark off the dock while fishing in the mornings. Great location to the beaches and Anna Maria City Pier. Matt was amazing to work with, he went over the top to make sure we had everything we needed, we look forward to our next stay!

Great house, great location, great value! We had an awesome time & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, pots/pans, anything you need to make a meal. The beds are comfortable. The pool & patio area is great! Close walk to the beach, the pier, shops. Only comment is that we had to purchase our own dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, etc. to use during our stay. Not a huge deal but would have liked to know that upfront.

Our stay at Crazy Mermaid was fantastic! The house had plenty of space that fit all 8 of us more than comfortably. Beds were cozy and house was stocked with everything we needed- dishes, linens, etc. The pool, where we spent most of our time, was perfect. Property owners/management were accommodating and very easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend this property!

The Crazy Mermaid House was the perfect place for a little getaway. Perfect communication and accommodations from Sky Run Rentals. The layout of the house was awesome. We had 4 couples staying and everyone was comfortable and had their own rooms. Great Place for the price.
