Anoka takes its identity seriously. It's the Halloween Capital of the World — the first city in America to hold an organized Halloween celebration, a tradition more than 100 years running. October here is a full-blown event: three parades, a 5K, and the whole town dressed for the occasion. But the other 11 months hold their own too. A social district open seven days a week. The city's Social District is open year-round, seven days a week, 10am to 10pm, which means you can pick up a drink and just wander.
The Rum River Trail runs right through town — over 8 miles of riverfront paths connecting parks and natural areas along the way. The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a National Park Service site, stretches 72 miles through the metro and has trailheads just minutes away. In summer, catch the Riverfest on the waterfront or a production at Lyric Arts Main Street Stage. In October, the whole city turns into something you have to see to believe.

- Guest List – For everyone’s safety and comfort, only registered guests are allowed unless we’ve chatted and approved otherwise.
- Quiet Hours – Please keep noise to a minimum from 10 PM to 8 AM so everyone, including the neighbors, can relax.
