The fireplaces work very well to heat the unit; we had to turn down the thermostat because it was too much for us and the bedroom fireplace woke us up when it turned on. The kitchen disappointed me on two counts: dishes had to be washed before going in the dishwasher and the cookware needs to be replaced (dont enjoy the Teflon flakes in my food). The condo was spacious and there was a little play space with toys under the stairs that wasnt pictured in the listing! The loft offered an extra place for the kids to play. Although the ceiling was low, I felt that it offered great extra space tor sleeping and hanging out.It was about a 10 minute walk to the base of peak 9 for young kids (6 and 8) and a 1 minute walk to the pool.The kitchen was outfitted as expected with mediocre equipment but again, what you would expect.Overall we were quite pleased and would absolutely return and also recommend to friends and family! Heat was set to 50F degrees when we arrived and the door to the outside in the living room was left wide open causing it to be even colder. It felt like 40F degrees when we walked in. The upstairs has a very weird layout and its hard to get to the beds without having to jump over each bed because of the ceiling height. Location was great, and it had everything we needed. Stayed Dec, 2019 Wonderful stay Three of us stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend for a guys getaway. The location provided easy access to the quicksilver lift (7 min walk in ski boots) and easy walking to downtown. We did not need to use our car the entire 5 days. Two things to note, first the unit is on the second floor, which was fine, just know there are 33 steps up. Second, the two bedrooms on the lowest level share a bathroom. The second bathroom is on the main level with the kitchen and living room, the loft area is above the kitchen. This worked fine for our group, however had our wives been along they would have wanted en-suite bathrooms. The check in was quick and easy, and communication with management was great via text. They were very responsive, and were able to accommodate a noon checkout for us on Sunday, via text messages Saturday afternoon. Host's response: Thank you for staying with SkyRun!
