COLORADO TRACTION LAW: From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge. This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. We stayed here recently over a holiday weekend. Location was fantastic! 2 blocks to town and easy access to the gondola or shuttles to any peak. Was able to ski back within a block of the condo.
