If you need additional parking, the Town of Breckenridge offers paid overnight options in two convenient locations: 1) south of town at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers. COLORADO TRACTION LAW: From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge. This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements. All of the furnishings felt modern and clean. We loved the location - a short pretty walk on a path to the adorable downtown. The pools and hot tub were a nice option after activity packed days. Check in instructions were detailed and timely. Check out requirements were less than demanding. 5 minute walk to Peak 9 and Main street. Clean and well appointed. We loved everything about it. On the welcome letter in the fridge it states the hot tub is open till 10pm, it is only open till 8pm. It was a shocked being told to leave atpm with the 15min warning. The glassware upon arrival was cloudy with water spots. Wifi was slow in certain spots especially bedroom 2. Other than that great place, great location to everything.
