PARKING INFORMATION:
For a smooth and stress-free stay, please follow all posted signs and parking regulations in Breckenridge, as enforcement is strict. If you need additional parking, the Town of Breckenridge offers paid overnight options in two convenient locations: 1) south of town at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers.

COLORADO TRACTION LAW:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge. This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

IMPORTANT WINTER ADVISORY:
Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. We are unable to offer refunds for vehicles that get stuck or require towing, and unfortunately, we cannot assist with towing or vehicle recovery. Additionally, some properties may require 4WD or AWD even during non-winter months due to uneven terrain and dirt roads. Fantastic location. Quiet neighborhood, even though it is in downtown Breck. Walking distance to the stores, restaurants, right across the street from the market. They only offer one parking pass, so if coming with multiple cars, plan accordingly. This place is wonderful but we did have a few issues: namely, we thought there was a pool and hot tub available on-site which is important for our daughter (there is not either amenity on-site and our refrigerator information sheet said our room was not eligible to use the hot tub). The decorating in the room was fantastic but the bathrooms are quite outdated. There were multiple lipstick stains on the glasses in the cupboards so we handwashed the dishes before using them. We would honestly recommend this place but would just make note of the few (minor) issues above.

This was the perfect place to stay in Breckenridge! For our group of 4 we felt it was spacious and cozy. We loved the decor and it had all the amenities you'd need. Easy to walk downtown and to all the great restaurants on the same street. Great view from the porch. We needed to get in touch with the host after business hours and were able to do so easily. We really appreciated how helpful and communicative the host was!

Overall this place is great! The location cant be beat, the updated & decorated interior is beautiful, and the views of Breckenridge are stunning!! The only thing we were disappointed in was the hot tub as advertised in the listing name is over a mile away at a recreational center - not the easy after ski dip we were assuming and paid extra for when deciding to book this property. With that said, we would stay here again in the summer/fall.

Comfortable experience with apartment and location. Well managed and the well-equipped kitchen and amenities were top notch. Dog friendly and accommodating. However, Sky Run must make sure the adjoining apartments customers know the complex allows pets, or they may complain as we experienced ( they obviously dont like pets, especially if they hear a bark! ). I cant imagine what they would do if a baby was crying!

We loved this condo. The shuttle to the ski resort is right outsideso easy. Walkable to everythingshops and restaurants. Beautiful inside. Really private because it is the only unit on the second floor. Loved the gas fireplace. Grocery store across the street.

Breck is one of my most recommended locations in Colorado! Despite all the snow, the town is always busy with plenty to do and see. Pros: The apartment is in an amazing part of town. Allowing guests to walk across the street to a grocery/liquor store or five minutes to the best restaurants and bars. It had a view of the slopes and one included parking spot. The apartment was spacious, clean, and organized. Since we had our dogs, we appreciated the sound proofing of the walls, and the lack of street noise.Cons: While the apartment was dog friendly, (they loved the fireplace) the tall flight of stairs contained sharp spikes to reduce anyone getting hurt by snow or ice. Unfortunately, my dogs couldnt walk on them and we had to carry them up and down the stairs every time we left. The listing also states that the apartment has access to a shared hot tub and pool. However, this is at the rec. center which is a ten minute drive away and not included on the info. Sheet.

Everything was fine and as described. Location is perfect and unit is spacious. There are 2 considerations though, the first one is the queen bed on the second room, mattress is old and the bed squeaks and is a little shaky. The second consideration is checking in. Lock code was not received until 4pm sharp. I understand rules say check in is at 4pm but unit was already clean and vacant and we had to wait until 4pm exactly to get in.

Beautiful place and super convenient location! One note, which may be in the listing and I just missed it: this is a second floor unit with iron stairs to access. Just be careful during winter.

We had a great time in Breckenridge staying with Sky Run, my parents were in town from Texas and we absolutely loved the location and views from the balcony. We also brought our dog and it was so nice that the Carter Park dog park was less than a 5-minute walk down the road, so if you are thinking about bringing your pup to this Airbnb, it's a great location and very walkable even if the property doesn't have a yard. The property was stocked with all the things you would need in the kitchen and around the house which was nice. The only struggle we had is that the beds are extremely hard, so if you are someone who can't sleep on a hard bed and need something a bit on the medium/softer side, I wouldn't say this is the place for you. But overall, great property and great location.

This unit is wonderful for a group of 4 adults. Plenty of space in the bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is superbly stocked with cooking appliances and space to make meals at home since you are steps away from the market across the street. The unit is very clean, decorated so cute like youre in a chalet in Switzerland. The views across all of Breck are outstanding and simply unmatched. Minutes walking from the center of downtown Main Street makes this location spot on. You will need yo utilize a shuttle during ski season to get yo the gondola to peak 8 or over to Beaver Run area for peak 9. We do have a dog but decided not to bring her for the weekend which I am glad we didnt. The unit is pet friendly and there are even cute treats. The challenge wouldve been getting her to walk up the stairs to the unit. The metal stairs have open grates and spiked traction for the winter that could hurt her paws. Just be cautious with that otherwise this place is wonderful!

A Downtown Gem

My wife and I stayed at Trollhagen 5 for an early autumn getaway (Sept '21) and we were not disappointed. We loved the location-just a block off of Main St.-close enough such that we could easily pop over for restaurants, shopping, etc. without being tired when we got there. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the aspens in front turn yellow and enjoying the sunset over the mountains. The unit was plenty spacious for just the two of us. It sleeps up to 8 and we could see that being cozy but working as well. The unit was very tastefully updated and decorated and of all the places we have stayed, the owners of Trollhagen 5 have gone above and beyond to think of just about everything-a very well stocked and organized kitchen and little touches throughout the unit. As with most places, there were a few issues (trouble connecting to internet, fireplace needed service)-SkyRun was responsive on all and these were more inconveniences than deal breakers for us. We definitely hope to be back!

This place was nicely updated and the best location! You could literally walk to anywhere down Main Street in 10 minutes or less. The market across the street was great if you needed a snack or forgot to pack something. I thought it was perfect for four people. If you had more than four it might be a little tight on space. I also didnt think the mattresses were very good quality as far as comfort goes. Overall I think it was a good place for a weekend getaway.

Superb location in-town across from grocery. Easy, honest, efficient marketing and communications. If you want a comfortable, sizable space for hanging out and a perfect in-town location with an iconic view, as long as you're willing to trade the resort frills (hot-tubs, ski butlers, etc.) for a much better price and location, this is a pretty great old-school Breck spot to be!

The property was extremely clean, and very convenient to the restaurants and shops in the village. The kitchen and dining area are a great area to spend time, and the fireplace is a cozy touch. The TV in the living room is huge if you end up stuck inside for some reason, and the views of the mountain are beautiful from the couches (assuming the visibility is good enough!).The two bedrooms comfortably fit our group of four (one couple and two singles), and could have easily fit at least two more on the couch and futon in the living room (as long as everyone is comfortable with people sleeping in the living room).It's (at most) a 10 minute walk to the QuickSilver lift, which was very manageable carrying skis, even with the heavy snow we had during our visit. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy unit, very well equipped with extra linens, everything you would need in the kitchen and a nice fireplace. Across street from a local market, one block off Main Street making it easy to walk everywhere. We only rented a car to be able to ski in keystone and vail, otherwise could have skipped the car. Had one small issue, management took care of it immediately. Just about three block walk to the quicksilver lift. Loved our stay!

I highly recommend this condo. It is a block off Main Street and there is a market right across the street. The condo is very spacious and has a lot of closet/storage areas. It was perfect for our party of 5 adults. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

This was our first time to Breckenridge, CO. Super easy check-in we are a family of 5 with 3 kids (13,11, and 8). This was the perfect location for our first trip to Breck! Everything was within walking distance, this location is amazing as you are one block from Main Street and the listing is two blocks on the same road from the Art District. We walked and walked and walked everywhere from this location. This location is across the street from a local market, there is a larger City Market about 2 miles away, you can take the FREE Main Street Trolley to the market, we cooked almost every night and had great family dinners!!!!! My favorite was bar b q location, as the bar b q chef I had one of the best cooking views ever. This is a very fun location to be steps away from the action on Main Street. Excited to get back to Breck!!!!! And if you golf, bring your clubs the Breckenridge Golf Club is out of this world!!!!!!!!!!

We enjoyed the location. Very convenient for walking to dinner and around downtown. Close to trails for running and biking. Very close to bike shop where we rented bikes to ride the trails. Grocery right across the street, which was nice for quick runs to pick up supplies. Good space in cabin, plenty of room for our family of five. Kitchen well equipped. Washer/dryer was a plus. Would stay there again.

Last Minute Trip

Great location and nice, renovated space. This is a great place for a group or family to stay. Lots of places to sleep and good dining spaces. Located only one block away from Main St. and across the street from the market. We loved our time there and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to bring their family or stay with a group of friends! The stairs outside to get to the front door are a little steep, so just something to keep in mind with small kiddos (we brought our 2 year old and 2 month old), but the handrails are well-maintained and we just took extra time and care going down with our kids. We will definitely be back!

Having lived in the Denver area for over 20 years we found this condo to be an excellent choice for a rental. It provides the downtown Breckenridge experience with easy access to everything Breck has to offer. One of our favorite things about Breckenridge is the cute little town and shops and it was nice to ski all day but have access to the town. The condo is comfortable and well appointed and it is surprising quiet given how close it is to everything. Major bonus to be directly across the street from the market!

Loved this place! Fit our family of 5 great and we enjoyed every minute! Easy walk to the slopes!

Loved everything! The condo itself is beautiful and clean! Had everything we needed and more with lots of storage space! Parking in Breck is a nitemare but with Main Street a block away, a grocery store and liquor literally across the street plus easy walks to all restaurants and bars; our car never left the parking lot! Cant not say enough great things!

Spring Snowboard Trip from South Texas

We had a wonderful stay at the SkyRun Trollhagen 5 Unit. It is conveniently located across a grocery/liquor store hosting everything you need and a block from main street. Location is hard to beat. We traveled as two couples plus one. Ample space for everyone and equipment with fully furnished kitchen with dishes. Only odd factor is the check out. Used to in Texas and had or shuttle at. Cleaning rep came by atAM asking when we were leaving, we planned for. Overall great stay and definitely recommend this unit to others.

Great location and spacious apt.

The location was amazing just a block and a half off of Main Street. It was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Great for a small group of people. The apt was very clean and I would highly recommend it and rent again.

Amazing location and spacious apt

Just as described the apartment does not disappoint. The major high points of this property is location. With Main St about 2 blocks away it makes the location very convenient. There is a small grocery store right across the street that was also very convenient. Also, the apt is very spacious and comfortable. All the beds including the futon were very comfy. We would definitely go back and recommend.

Breckenridge, CO is an absolutely amazing town and this apartment makes it look even better. Waking up with the snowy mountain view was our favorite memory. The place was very cozy with extra amenities and very nice touches (local coffee, teas, shampoo etc). If you want a place to enjoy and be able to walk to everything this is definitely the spot!

Wish I had more time here!

This condo was perfect! I don't often say that but it was. I stayed here for a conference and I only wish I had more time to hang out in the condo. It is well appointed and the decor is totally mountains. The fan and open windows worked well to cool it off after a warm day. The views are awesome. I hope to be back next year!

Luxurious apartment walking distance from mainstreet!

Absolutely love this apartment! This is a top floor unit that is extremely spacious, luxurious and centrally located in downtown Breckenridge. Very clean and offers a lot of sleeping beds and storage for guests. There is a lot of natural light within the apartment and has a grocery store and liquor store across the street! We loved this unit and definitely will be back!

This was our first experience with Breckenridge and with Airbnb and we had a fantastic experience on both counts. The location of Trollhagen was perfect - one block off of main street. We hardly needed a vehicle at all during our stay. The place was very nicely accommodated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Loved the condo!!! Let renters know what you might want to bring with you....

We loved out first trip to Breckenridge! The condo was in the perfect location and being so close to the grocery store right across the street was a huge plus for our family. The access to Main street and all the other shopping and restaurants was wonderful. When we found this condo online we were immediately impressed! We have stayed at many VRBO and Airbnb places in Colorado......... I do think this condo could have had more kitchen necessities. There were not any kitchen towels, only one trash bag and not even any salt or pepper! All the other places we have stayed in had many spices, kitchen towels, a roll of trash bags and many other things that are needed and a huge necessity!!! All and all we loved the condo and would stay there again, especially knowing ahead of time we needed to bring the needed items with us.

Great location

Nice property and great location however - Apparently the beds are new but very uncomfortable and springy . ( no support at all ) We did get a foam topper for one bed which made it a little better but overall the beds were disappointing for the price of the rental ( which was overpriced) To top it off Anna the property manager was rude and dismissive when i called to address issue and kept trying to rush me off Phone.
