Its a beautiful home in a convenient location. Not too close to town, but close enough to do all of the things we wanted to do. We did have a couple of problems, which hopefully will be resolved before the next visitors arrive. First, the place wasnt as clean as most Airbnbs Ive stayed in. There were dirty towels in the washer when we arrived. The dishes in the cabinets were also dirty, as were the small appliances like the waffle maker. We also noticed that it was incredibly difficult to warm the house. I dont know if we were ever able to get the temp above 63. Bring layers! There are 5 different thermostats, and none seemed to work. Lastly, the water heater broke TWICE during our visit. We didnt have any hot water for 3 days, and it was snowing outside. Not having hot showers was awful. The company did ultimately let us shower at another property, but it was inconvenient to have to drive there. Angela Stayed Sep, 2024 Review Beautiful property with lots of privacy and forest views. House was spacious and very clean. Perfect outdoor space for the dog we brought with us. Easy drive to town. Not impressed with Skyrun Breckenridge management company. We booked a pet friendly home bringing our dog and the first email I received from them said NO PETS. We asked for clarification as we would never bring a pet without consent. They said this property did allow pets. Apparently they send a standard email to all properties regardless of actual policies. In that same first email they have a No early checkins or late checkouts policy. There were no reservations 3 weeks before ours or 5 days after we departed in low season Sept. We built and rented a custom home Blue River for 8 years. This is a lazy policy indicating they dont want to take the extra time to checkin with cleaners or inspections once complete to be accommodating to guests. Its easier just to say no and save yourself the extra work. Host's response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful property, the spacious and clean house, and the perfect outdoor space for your dog. Tristen Stayed Dec, 2023 Review We stayed here for our honeymoon!! Great stay, hot tub was amazing, so private and secluded!! About a 15 minute drive to Breckenridge, but I would prefer to stay away from all the travelers and traffic anyways!! Host's response: It sounds like you had a wonderful honeymoon! Choosing a private and secluded location with a hot tub is a fantastic way to celebrate such a special occasion. Being away from the hustle and bustle of a popular destination like Breckenridge can indeed provide a more peaceful and intimate experience. Hope to welcome you back soon. Happy Holidays,SkyRun Breckenridge Joshua Stayed Dec, 2023 Review This stay was amazing! The hot tub, late at night as the winter flakes are falling down, really hits different. The house has incredible views and a huge amount of space for a family size from 4-12 people. Full furnished with everything you need from pots and pans, to all the amenities in the house. Chris Stayed Sep, 2023 Review Check in was very easy and had no issues getting into the house. The home was very clean and there was plenty of room in the home for people to move around. The bedrooms were nice. The outside of the house was nice the hot tub was very nice and clean. Kitchen was very nice had everything that you needed to cook. One thing I would say is that the bathroom upstairs could have a non slip mat the tub was very slippery when wet. Overall I loved this place and would recommend it and I would come back to in the future. 5 for sure. Host's response: Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and we are glad you enjoyed home and it's amenities. We will be sure to resolve the tub surface issue promptly, and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. SkyRun Breckenridge looks forward to hosting you during your next visit; please reach out if we can help with anything! Blythe Stayed Jun, 2023 Review This was the perfect place for my family. There was five of us altogether, and there was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space, but also be able to spend time together if we wanted to. It was a little bit of a drive from downtown Breckenridge, but I liked that the property felt private, and away from the hustle and bustle. We did have two cars, which made things a little easier compared to just relying on Uber or something similar. The river was beautiful, the mountain views were amazing, and the night skies were GORGEOUS. The entire house was spotless, it was easy to get inside, and we instantly felt right at home. We even got to see some deer outside our place while we were staying there. All in all, it was a great location, and a great choice. Host's response: You were a great guest! Thank you for choosing SkyRun Breckenridge as your host, we were happy to have you! Grant Stayed Jun, 2023 Review Great location with easy access to Breck but also very private. Host's response: Location, location, location! So happy to hear it was a great vacation!! Please choose SkyRun Breckenridge for your next trip! Cara Stayed Mar, 2023 Review SkyRun was beautiful and home-y. We loved the two living areas and having bedrooms with their own bathrooms on each level so that we could come together and spread out. Host's response: Thank you for staying here in Breckenridge with SKYRUN! Jason Stayed Feb, 2023 Review Large space to spread out and enjoy space from the group, but also lots of room for group gatherings. Really nice to have a garage! Fireplace is super toasty! Comfortable beds. Not too far from downtown, but far enough away to be quiet and private. We were just four friends, but I can see how this would be great for large families or a couple of families traveling together. Julie Stayed Feb, 2023 Review Great place to stay! Beautiful home and accurately described. Super responsive host. Christina Stayed Feb, 2023 Review Beautiful NBB Stayed Feb, 2023 Beautiful summer getaway This beautiful home was a wonderful anchor for our summer adventures in Breckenridge. We stayed with another family, kids between the ages of 4-10 - and loved everything this home had to offer. Spacious kitchen and dining area for all with option for outdoor campfires/smores and BBQ, lounge and play area in the basement, the hot tub outdoors in a summer snowstorm!, and exploring the two creeks in the backyard- where we also were able to pan for gold and found lots of shiny mini-flakes to the delight of our children. Easy driving distance to all things Breckenridge and further out as well- don't miss what Frisco, Leadville, and the surrounding towns and farms/mines/rivers have to offer for first-timers. We felt it was a perfect space to relax after exploring for the day, and also to have a leisurely afternoon for those who wanted a more quiet moment in nature. The home is on a quiet street, no noise from cars or neighbors. Sunny, easy to get to, beautiful views, and very easy to communicate with. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Connie Stayed Jan, 2023 Review This Airbnb was very nice. Very private, ten minute drive from town. Waking up to beautiful trees covered in snow in the morning was amazing. Vicky Stayed Dec, 2022 Review Beautiful home, a few minor maintenance issues but website and photos completely matched - heat and lights were on upon arrival, fireplace was lit and hot tub was hot- house was so inviting. Loved it, would highly recommend and would definitely go back! So picturesque- even had a moose show up outside a bedroom window ! Alvaro Enrique Stayed Sep, 2022 Review Great home for a nature retreat. Highly recommend! Jessica Stayed Aug, 2022 Review Had a great long weekend stay in this beautiful and clean Breckenridge home. Great location feels secluded enough but close to many attractions. Host's response: Thanks so much for taking the time to write us a review. This is incredibly helpful and we'd love to welcome you back anytime! r (Hidden by Airbnb) Heather Stayed Jul, 2022 Review The place was great and one of our favorite places to stay!!! We saw so much wildlife deer, fox, and moose all in the yard multiple times. The kids absolutely loved playing in the creek out back and doing smores in the fire pit!!! They were able to catch and release a few trout in the creek. There was plenty of space and everything we needed to cook with as well as a large back deck to enjoy the amazing weather. It is also super close to town, yet still tucked in the woods to make you feel away from the hustle and bustle. It was just allot of fun!!! HIGHLY recommend!!! Host's response: We are so happy that you had a positive experience staying with SkyRun Breckenridge! Thanks so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. This is incredibly helpful and we'd love to welcome you back anytime! Lee Stayed Jul, 2022 Review Let me start this review with a few positive things - the house itself - Twin Creek Lodge - was great for our group of 10. We really enjoyed that the rooms were on separate floors so everyone got some peace and quiet whenever they wanted. There was plenty of space to hang around and not feel crowded, the hot tub was much appreciated as well as a nice little fire pit near the creeks. The seclusion, quiet and sounds of the mountains and creeks really were lovely. The down side - the fridge barely works, the jacuzzi tub in the master does not work at all, there weren't enough towels to accommodate a group of 10 unless you washed them daily, the roof was completely torn up (they had no idea?) and the hosts - SkyRun Breckenridge -were an absolute nightmare to work with. The house we ended up staying in wasn't even the house we booked, they called an hour before our check-in time and told us they couldn't accommodate our group anymore and would be canceling because "the HOA decided to paint and is ahead of schedule so everything is taped up at the house". There was no apology, no empathy, no offering of another place to stay. I asked what they expected us to do and the response was "we're seeing what else is available", I asked when they would let me know and the response was "we're working on that, hopefully in the next hour?" Not exactly what you'd like to hear when you're 20 minutes away with barely any service. They also let us know if we could find something else last minute they could refund us - which, sure, thanks (as you should since you canceled?) but no one would allow a same day check in on any of the other properties available. Eventually SkyRun called us with another option (Twin Creek Lodge) and in their words "was a bit of a downgrade, but could fit us". We were grateful there was something available at all, but this was 10+ minutes south of Breck so we could no longer count on walking everywhere and had to find accommodations for driving a group of 10 to and from the house. Luckily, the house we ended up in worked out, despite the massive headache it caused our group and all the last minute adjustments, but the way it was handled was a poor excuse for customer service - a little bedside manner goes a long way. Do better by your guests. Colin Stayed May, 2022 Review Beautiful place in a beautiful part of the world. We celebrated my mother's 70th bday with several grand children. Close to great hikes, jacuzzi is excellent, and the creek is very peaceful. Host's response: We are so happy that you enjoyed your SkyRun Breckenridge l! We would love for you to come back and visit us again sometime in the future! Thank you for your review and have a wonderful day! Hillary Stayed May, 2022 Review Great place to stay for large groups. Moriah Stayed Apr, 2022 Review Wonderful cabin for family and friends to enjoy being together. Close to the base of peak 8 and downtown. Keep a look out for the cute fox! Host's response: We are so happy that you had a positive experience staying with SkyRun Breckenridge! Thanks so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. This is incredibly helpful and we'd love to welcome you back anytime! Megan Stayed Mar, 2022 Review Loved the place. Cute and secluded but easy driving distance to Breck to ski. Definitely get a 4 wheel drive car in the winter for the driveway Host's response: We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with SkyRun Breckenridge! We would love for you to come back and visit us again sometime in the future! Thank you for your review and have a wonderful day! Emily Stayed Feb, 2022 Review Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The house was great for a large group. It had beautiful views and great amenities. One thing I feel that is important to mention is the beds are not comfortable at all, and the room with 4 twin beds did not have heat. Host's response: I deeply apologize that beds were not up to the comfort standard of excellence we have set for our guest stays. We will be addressing these issues with the proper department to check the quality of the beds. Thank you for your feedback and have a wonderful day! Please feel free to call our office. Jennifer Stayed Jan, 2022 Review We had a birthday celebration for my husband with our children and childrens, children in breck. This home was worth every dollar. We would love for you to come back and visit us again sometime in the future! Thank you for your review and have a wonderful day! Stephanie Stayed Dec, 2021 Review I booked this home for a women's retreat with my church. We had 11 ladies and this house was perfect! It was everything the description said and more! The views and serenity of the home is enough to make you want to book it! The pictures provided don't even do it justice. The way it's tucked into the area, with trees all around; so perfect! Although it sits pretty close to a busy road, you wouldn't know that. The trees helped drown out a lot of the noise. When sitting out on the back deck, all you really could hear was the wind blowing through the trees, water going down the creek, and some birds in the area. Inside, the home is very open and spacious, even though there's so many rooms and beds. The layout really works well. The kitchen was spacious and had enough cabinet space for all the extra food and snacks we brought. We had all the kitchen gadgets, appliances, pots and pans, plates and cups, EVERYTHING, we needed. There was plenty of towels and extra bedding. There were lots of places to hide out if needed, but also hang out when we wanted. The basement area was definitely an added bonus for space. If you're looking for a place to stay where you don't want or have to leave, this is perfect for that! Once you're in the house, you seriously don't want to leave. It's so warm and charming; it feels like a home away from home. We left the house only once in the 3 days we were there, and that was to visit downtown Breckenridge because we're tourists like that. But if you don't have to leave for anything, this house really is so cozy. And if you're looking for a place that is close enough to ski at Breck, but not pay the price for that, this is perfect. It's only about a 10 minute drive to the gondola. All in all, if you're looking for a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city and suburban life, this is a great house to do that! The whole time I was there I kept thinking "This would be perfect for 2 families with kids to vacation in. A family reunion would work great here. We should come back in the summer! If I need to have a mommy weekend, I'm coming back!" Tony Stayed Oct, 2021 Review Our party of 9 had a wonderful stay here in October. Super easy check-in and check-out. Three floors with plenty of room to spread out. The younger kids loved the little cubby hole room, and the teenagers enjoyed the ample space to chill out away from everyone. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and pans we needed. The deck is awesome, and the hot tub is a fun addition. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Jeff Stayed Oct, 2021 Review Had an amazing getaway with family / friends. Great to enjoy from balcony, fire pit. You can also walk down to where the twin creeks meetKitchen is fully stocked, bbq grill worked great Fireplace is nice, you can vent / fan the heat into the main bedroomWe had plenty of room for 5 people, felt that it may be built for 3 couples/kids. 10/10 Deidre Stayed Aug, 2021 Review Would definitely stay again Katie Stayed Aug, 2021 Review Beautiful stay! Quick car ride into Breck! Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our larger group! Great team to work with! Easy instructions! The fire pit and hot tub were AWESOME! Gaby Stayed Jun, 2021 Review Great location and a lovely home, the fire pit was great for making s'mores and the hot tub was nice in the evenings. We had two problems with our reservation, the alcove with the four beds had a broken window that wouldn't open, so the folks who slept in there got too hot and had to end up sleeping on the couches in the living room. The wi-fi of the house was slow to the point that it was useless. Haley Stayed Jun, 2021 Review I highly recommend booking this space! The location is great, the house is a delightful space, there's a great hot tub, and it's right by a creek. What a great stay. Malik Stayed Mar, 2021 Review It was a great place, just needing a little updated bathrooms Jeffrey Stayed Mar, 2021 Review Great place, great location, and my girls saw a few moose in the front yard. Toilet bowls were yellowed. Didnt provide enough paper towels or dish detergent for a big group for a weekend stay. Hot tub took an entire day to heat up because it was set to 60 degrees when we arrived. Heat was also oddly distributed around the house. Some spaces were freezing and others hot. This all being said, we had a fun time and the stay was enjoyable! Yesenia Stayed Dec, 2020 Review We had a great time. It was our kids first time seeing snow and it was better than expected. Deanne Stayed Nov, 2020 Review Space is extremely accommodating! If you dont want to leave once youve arrived, stay here. Three levels and all levels have enough space to have actual privacy and group time. By be warned. The elevation sickness is REAL. Walk slowly when going between floors 🙂 Host's response: Thanks, so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. Munoz Family Stayed Nov, 2020 Twin creek lodge vacation It was a blessing staying in this amazing house it had everything we needed and more. We got to see a fox, we relax in the hot tub, beautiful view of the snow in the pine trees and ground. don’t hesitate this rental is big but very cozy for a family vacation Emily Stayed Nov, 2020 Review Loved staying at this beautiful mountain house right on the riverside! It was better than expected- very clean, plenty of space and the hot tub was perfection. Definitely needed the 4WD engaged for getting out of the driveway with snow. Tony Stayed Oct, 2020 Review Beautiful wood throughout the home, we only had a party of 7 but could have easily fit twice that! Only 15 min drive to Breckenridge, we saw 3 Mooses on the drive! Highly suggested. Landon Stayed Oct, 2020 Review The location was perfect and the sights and sounds were amazing. Highly recommended. Customer service was great too. Emily Stayed Oct, 2020 Review We had a fantastic time here. We had a group of girls and everyone loved the house, and the patio overlooking the trees was a favorite! Theres a book with tips on the best places to go in the area and it was so helpful! Our group ended up wanting to spend majority of the time at the house because we loved it so much. Still a very close drive to downtown breckenridge for tasty food, coffee and great shopping! Annie Stayed Oct, 2020 Review This house is very pretty and in a good location (about 10 minutes outside of Breck)! We stayed here after our wedding with our wedding party and it was almost perfect for us. One thing we didnt realize was that one of the bedrooms was inside another bedroom. Since not everyone knew each other, they didnt feel comfortable walking through another persons room to get to their own. Something you might want to consider depending on who is staying in the house! We also had a lot of trouble with the WiFi. It was hard to do anything on our phones because the internet was awful! Lastly, the hot tub seemed like it had way too much chlorine in it and every single person that went in it ended up getting dry skin that was very painful. B Hull Stayed Oct, 2020 Fall in Breck Overall, the house and property was perfect for our empty-nesters' getaway. 3 couples stayed in the house very comfortably, with plenty of room to spread out. The more "remote" location of the property, along with the deck and hot tub, made for a perfect getaway to enjoy Colorado's natural beauty. We even saw two moose sauntering through the back yard one evening! There are a few things which should be addressed to move to 5 star rating: the sleep number bed on the main floor didn't work, the kitchen was stocked somewhat eclectically, making it difficult to find what you need, additional dish towels are necessary, and the sink drain stopper in the lower bathroom had to be propped up to stay open. Also, adding a recycling option would be nice for the environment. Bring earplugs if you open the windows at night (no A/C) because there's definitely traffic noise from the nearby road. We would stay here again and definitely enjoyed being a little more secluded outside of town. Mark Stayed Sep, 2020 Review Immaculate place just a few minutes out of town! SND922 Stayed Aug, 2020 Great house for large family The house was great for our mini family reunion. The kitchen was a little light on cooking items like pots and pans for a large party but we made it work. Lots of gathering area and all the beds were comfortable. Plus the rental company was very responsive to an issue we had. Jon Stayed Aug, 2020 Review This home is beautiful, spacious, and in a great location. We saw a fox and mother/baby moose on the property. The amenities were fairly good, however a couple listed items were missing and we had to run to the store. Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable and most of us did not sleep well, making it difficult to enjoy the trip fully. Likely part of that was elevation gain and dehydration, but even the few of us from Colorado struggled. For such a beautiful home, I would think they would invest more in the mattresses. Bob Stayed Aug, 2020 Review Great fit for our large family, so much room to spread out and each do our thing. The location is amazing, it sits deep in tall pines so the fresh pine smell alone is worth the booking. The kids spent a ton of time playing in the small creek by the firepit while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. It also is a very short drive to all of the best hikes near Breck. Can't recommend this place enough if you are a larger group looking to enjoy everything Breck has to offer. Jared Stayed Jul, 2020 Review We had a great time this past weekend celebrating our friends bachelor party. The house itself is very nice and was more than enough room for 10+ adults. I love the location as it's a little bit out of town and a bit secluded to give you a little privacy. We spent most of our time around the house, but we also went white water rafting, fly fishing and hiked around town a bit. Overall, the experience of renting and using the house was super easy and we loved hanging around the house. Eric Stayed Jun, 2020 Review Lovely place! The proximity to the Hoosier Pass and the Continental Divide was just as nice being close to Breckenridge town. Montgomery Reservoir was great for fishing and less than 15 minutes away. We spotted a moose near Goose Pature Tarm. The private hot tub, stream, and campfire were a great escape to the outdoors, with the comfort of a beautiful home, kitchen, beds, and baths. We brought a bunch of food to cook. But, also enjoy some mountain high pizza from Giampietro and a delicious meal from Cabin Juice. Matt Stayed Mar, 2020 Review Located at the foot of quandary peak, this house is very cool, although the WiFi was terrible, so dont count on using the internet during your stay. Great hangout with some friends for skiing, next time Ill probably book closer to town because its a bit of a haul. Hot tub was great, and this house is VERY roomy, plenty of space to have a big group and not feel crowded. Very nice bathrooms and feel to the house. Showers dont have blinds or window covers... which was kind of weird. Altogether we enjoyed our stay. I went back in the beginning of April, and I literally have been try to get back ever since. Stayed Dec, 2018 Beautiful home In a quiet residential setting A family Christmas - the first Christmas without any of our parents present. It was very special and the house was wonderful. I will give five stars because of the magical setting; when we started washing clothes to return home the start button on the dryer was loose and the oven racks kept falling fire alarm from smoke and yes, fire department showed. Great outdoor area with woods and the creeks to explore. The kitchen was lacking a few things for a big group ie, large pots and sharp knives. Also, the main floor bathrooms have no window coverings. Even though the property is fairly secluded, a bit more privacy would have been appreciated. Overall, the property was all that it promised and we would love to stay again! There was nothing better than hitting the slopes for the day, and then chilling in the hot tub and cracking open a cold one (or two!) with the boys. Poker, movies, the place has it all. Definitely a do if you are on the fence! Michael T. Stayed May, 2018 Meticulous (huge) secluded home - perfect for guys vacation and multi-families too We spent a long weekend at this fantastic home in early April with a dozen other friends for our annual guy's get-away. First off: to get the punchline out of the way- the home is huge, beautifully maintained, tons of huge windows...the pictures don't do it justice. It is the perfect place for a multi-family getaway or a good old guy's vacation. All towels, shampoo, plates, utensils, etc. are included. You just walk in and enjoy. No hotel check-in, no crazy rules, no elevators you wait for. I LOVED having a private home- I'm never going to a hotel in Breckenridge again. The first thing you notice is a long, private driveway that leads to a meticulous home overlooking two creeks, mountains, wildlife (more on that later), copious trees, all covered in the night sky by a surreal blanket of never-ending stars. Our original plan was to use the house as a home base: 1- go out during the day skiing (10-minute drive to Breckenridge Mountain), 2- come back to shower, 3- drive to the 'downtown' area of Breckenridge for dinner, 4- return for some whiskey on the deck (and if too cold, around the indoor fireplace), and 5- sleep like babies (possibly with the help of the liquor!). Our plans quickly changed when it became obvious to all 13 of us, that the amenities inside and out of the home were beyond what we could have imagined. Each day when we returned from skiing, we used the outdoor hot tub to relax our muscles, while overlooking the creek and mountains. Moving inside, there were four full bathrooms, so the wait time for a hot shower was short. You'd think with 13 guys we'd run out of hot water- nope! We cooked every dinner on the gas grill out on the deck. I can't tell you how many times we saw wildlife (read: Moose!) staring back at us from a comfortable distance. All 13 of us sat comfortably at the main dining room table while we enjoyed our feast. Dishwasher saved us all the headache of a lengthy cleanup too. Afterward, we relaxed by the stone fireplace, reminiscing about the new memories made, and catching up on our more complicated lives back home. Tip- if you turn off the lights, and keep the fireplace on, the moon and stars light the central area up majestically. You feel like you're in the middle of the wilderness, in the best possible way. At the end of the night, we had more than enough beds for all 13 of us. The walls were thick, so the deep snorers didn't interrupt the rest of the guys either. (Thick walls are underrated). I write this glowing review with a semi-sweet taste in my mouth. On the one hand, the property is nothing short of spectacular, well equipped, and perfect for a multi-family vacation or a guy's trip. The bitter part is that the more people who learn about the property, the less opportunity I have to rent again without competition. Whoever owns this property- please give me priority when I book again with my family this summer! I gave you a glowing (and deservingly so) review. Thank you! Christina Stayed Feb, 2018 Amazing! As a seasoned (self proclaimed ?) traveler, location and amenities are two biggies when choosing where to stay. This place had both!! Less than 10 minute drive to Breckinridge for a day of skiiing and a night of food/drink in town. The house itself is situated in a cozy wooded area (Woke up one morning to a moose right outside our window!) and is very spacious and well kept. Lots to do at the house as well. Star gazing in the hottub, sledding down the driveway, s’mores by the bonfire or cozying up for a movie by the fireplace. Highly recommend! Downhill Dan Stayed Jan, 2018 Great place to stay! Stayed at Twin Creek Lodge from December 29th to January 2nd. Awesome. Home was in pristine condition, everything looked and worked like it was brand new. Decor was very appropriate and welcoming. The house was actually a lot more spacious than depicted. Lots of kitchen area and places to sit and eat, inside and out. Hot tub was definitely a highlight after a day on the slopes; so were the heated floors! 10 minute drive to town or to the slopes, so couldn't be happier with the location. Only problem was a Miami Dolphin jenga game! but seriously, couldn't have been happier with the place, would recommend to any type of group- family or guys or girls trip. we will definitely return!
