From the red lodge-style exterior and welcoming wraparound porch to the soaring ceilings and carefully chosen Western details inside, the cabin is comfortable, inviting, and full of character. With two king suites, additional upstairs sleeping space, three full bathrooms, and room for up to 11 guests, Headed West offers the perfect setting for a family getaway, a couples’ trip, or a relaxing escape with friends.

Open Living & Gathering Spaces
The living room makes a strong first impression with soaring vaulted ceilings, tall windows, and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace that immediately draws the eye. A mounted TV above the fireplace, leather seating, and patterned accent chairs create a comfortable place to gather, while the open staircase and loft above add to the room’s spacious feel. Western artwork and lodge-inspired details give the space a distinctive character that carries throughout the cabin.

Large windows bring in natural light and views of the surrounding trees, while double doors open directly to the back porch, making it easy to move between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. With the living room flowing naturally into the kitchen and dining areas, the main level feels open and connected whether everyone is watching a movie, sharing a meal, or simply relaxing after a day at the lake, exploring Beavers Bend, or enjoying local shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Kitchen & Dining
Just beyond the living room, the kitchen feels both stylish and incredibly functional, with stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and a large island with bar seating. The dark geometric backsplash adds a polished contrast, while the built-in microwave tucked beneath the staircase is a clever detail that makes great use of the layout without interrupting the clean look of the space.

Both drip and single-serve coffee options are provided at the dedicated coffee station, making mornings easy before heading out for the day. The nearby dining area sits beside large windows and offers a comfortable place to gather for meals, games, or conversation.

Two Main-Level King Suites
The main level features two beautifully designed king suites, each with a TV and its own private ensuite bathroom.

The first king suite feels bright, spacious, and inviting, with a vaulted ceiling, large windows, and rustic barn-style doors that add character to the room. A wall-mounted TV and comfortable seating create an easy place to unwind, while direct access to the back porch lets guests step outside and enjoy the wooded setting and outdoor living spaces. Its private ensuite is a standout, featuring a double vanity, freestanding soaking tub, and an oversized walk-in shower with multiple shower fixtures.

The second king suite brings a rich lodge-inspired feel with a striking dark accent wall and rustic log-frame bed. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and views of the trees, while a wall-mounted TV, and thoughtfully chosen Western décor give the room a distinctive feel. Its private ensuite includes a double vanity and a spacious glass-enclosed walk-in shower, offering guests a comfortable and well-designed space to get ready or unwind.

A washer and dryer are also conveniently located on the main level for guest use.

Upstairs Loft & Bunk Room
Upstairs, the spacious loft serves as both an additional gathering area and flexible sleeping space for families and groups. The open layout overlooks the living room below, while vaulted ceilings and large windows give the space an airy feel and bring in views of the surrounding trees.

Two twin trundle beds provide sleeping space for up to four guests, while a TV and comfortable accent chairs make the loft an easy place to relax, unwind, or spend time together.

Just off the loft, a separate bunk room offers a twin-over-twin bunk bed with one additional twin bed that pulls out from underneath, providing sleeping space for up to three guests.

A full bathroom with a tub/shower combination conveniently serves the upstairs level.

Outdoor Living
The wraparound porch is designed for spending time outside, with several inviting spaces to relax and enjoy the beautiful wooded surroundings. Unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the outdoor dining table for a meal, or fire up the grill after a day of exploring.

A separate lounge area with comfortable seating, a stone fireplace, and an outdoor TV creates another favorite gathering spot and makes the back porch just as enjoyable in the evening as it is during the day. Rocking chairs and additional seating are tucked along the porch, giving guests plenty of places to slow down with a cup of coffee, enjoy the quiet, or simply take in the surrounding woods and all that nature has to offer.

Fire Pit & Outdoor Fun
Just beyond the porch, the fire pit is tucked into the trees, creating a beautiful place to slow down and spend time together. Surrounded by Adirondack chairs and peaceful wooded scenery, it is an inviting spot for roasting s’mores, sharing stories around the fire, or simply sitting beneath the stars with family and friends.

Cornhole boards add another easy way to enjoy time outside, while the built-in slide leading from the porch down toward the lower yard and fire pit area gives younger guests something especially fun to enjoy. Together, these thoughtful touches make the outdoor space even more enjoyable for families and groups.

EV Charging
Headed West includes a 240V EV charging connection for added convenience. Guests should bring any adapters or charging cables needed for their specific vehicle.

Located within easy reach of Hochatown, Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and family-friendly attractions, Headed West offers a peaceful wooded setting while keeping area adventures close by.

F i r e w o o d: You can opt for bundles of firewood to be delivered to your cabin for your stay. 6-8 pieces (depending on size) for $20. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent.
E a r l y / L a t e: We may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out (2 additional hours) for $50 unless there is another reservation within 24 hours of your reservation. This must be requested and approved by your SkyRun host! We compensate our team additional funds for accommodating guest requests and coordinating their daily schedules and/or working after hours to help make this happen for our valued guests. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent.
F i r e p l a c e s : Fireplaces are free to be enjoyed seasonally October 1st through April 30th. You are welcome to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit year round! No cooking or roasting marshmallows in any fireplaces, but please roast away on those wood burning fire pits! Tampering or turning on fireplaces outside of the seasonal window will result in fines.
WIFI AVAILABILITY: Wi-Fi is provided as a complimentary convenience for our guest; however, it is not considered an essential part of the rental. Refunds will not be issued for Wi-Fi-related issues including connectivity, speed, local outages, or accessibility.
