We live in a cabin in the woods in TX, where we have total peace and quiet, so when I asked my husband if he would like to take a 4 day weekend trip to Broken Bow, OK, for our Anniversary, he was like “why?” ??, In true fashion, and after 44 years of marriage, he agreed. We reserved Hidden Escape Cabin and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. It was a beautifully constructed, immaculately cleaned, adorably decorated home away from home full of thoughtfully chosen amenities. We would highly recommend this cabin and we will be back. The location to all that Hochatown has to offer was awesome. You couldn’t ask for a better location. We hiked at Beavers State Park both Friday and Saturday and enjoyed various nearby restaurants. The evenings offered gambling at the new nearby Choctaw Casino which had an awesome restaurant to have our Anniversary dinner and share a nice bottle of wine. Then back “home” to our patio, with the wonderful hot tub and the relaxing fire pit below, which we utilized nightly. I want to mention that when we first arrived, the fire pit logs that we ordered were no where to be found, but the property host was just a quick text away and solved that problem immediately. Also, the hot tub buttons gave us a little trouble at first, but another text to the Host solved that little issue immediately as well, and hopefully our suggestion of clearer step by step directions (for us older people), will be considered. I know this review is wordy, but trust me, you’ll be just as excited about The Hidden Escape Cabin as we are when you tell your friends about it. Everything seemed brand new and the cabin had most of the essentials that youd expect for a short stay. The two king beds were very comfy and the right size for our family of 4. The main bedrooms bathroom is definitely a highlight, as well as the back patio and hot tub. The cabin is in a secluded area in the Ouachita National Forest area, so is nice and peaceful compared to other cabins weve rented in the area, yet is still only a few minutes from all of the amenities and activities in the area. The team at SkyRun were very professional and made the experience very easy and kept privacy in mind. We would definitely stay here again.
