You can overlook the river from the bluffs that the cabin sits on, or take the walk down to the river where your 3 kayaks are kept (included with your stay). Perfect for families, groups, or couples seeking an idyllic getaway, this pet-friendly haven (please see notes below regarding pet fees) offers a plethora of amenities to ensure an unforgettable stay!
And yes, you read that right, this property comes with access to a *p r i v a t e l y  o w n e d  i s l a n d * that is directly across the waterfront from the cabin! Paddle the kayaks over and explore, fish, take some time to sit in silence and reflect...the possibilities are endless for enjoying this completely unique experience you can't find anywhere else. Just think getting your morning workout in on your cabin's private island! 

Your secluded retreat is only 20 minutes north of all the main attractions of Hochatown, and 2 miles south of the renowned Talemina National Scenic Byway...go ahead and look it up! Leaf peepers and view seekers come from all over to drive this stretch of road containing the best views in the state.

The spacious living room welcomes you with a cozy gas log fireplace and comfortable furnishings, providing the perfect setting to unwind after a day of adventure. Smart TVs throughout the home offer entertainment options for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows.

The lower deck features a soothing hot tub, outdoor TV, Tiki Ring Toss game, and a wood-burning firepit not far from the deck, while the upper deck boasts a shuffleboard table that converts to an outdoor dining table, overlooking the forest and river views from the bluffs that the cabin sits on.

p e t s : *There is a flat fee of $50/night if you are bringing pet(s). Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent. Pet limit is 2. Please reach out to us if you have a special request. 
e a r l y  / l a t e: We may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out (2 additional hours) for $50 unless there is another reservation within 24 hours of your reservation. This must be requested and approved by your SkyRun host! We compensate our team additional funds for accommodating guest requests and coordinating their daily schedules and/or working after hours to help make this happen for our valued guests. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent. 
f i r e w o o d : You can opt for bundles of firewood to be delivered to your cabin for your stay. 6-8 pieces (depending on size) for $20. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent. 
F i r e p l a c e s : Fireplaces are free to be enjoyed seasonally October 1st through April 30th. You are welcome to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit year round! No cooking or roasting marshmallows in any fireplaces, but please roast away on those wood burning fire pits! Tampering or turning on fireplaces outside of the seasonal window will result in fines.

My entire family enjoyed this beautiful home and surrounding area! The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day of tubing at the lake. My teenage grandchildren love the game room and the fact that they had their own area to hang out. It is a great place have family time! We will definitely recommend this home for your family vacation. We will be back. Alyssa was the best host! She answered any questions I had and I was answered promptly. Only down side was internet kept going down, but we still would rate this place a 10. Thank you Alyssa!!

The stay at Alyssa's cabin was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfy, and the pool table, hot tub, and kayaks were a hit! If you like fishing, this area is a great place. I caught about a 15lb catfish one day and about a 7lb catfish the next day. Our family of 6 adults, a teenager, and five grandkids had an amazing time. There are plenty of games to play, t.v.'s (which we used maybe for 30 minutes one day), hot tub, exploring the land, etc. There is only one thing that didn't seem to be in the description (maybe I missed it) is that the two bunkrooms are connected. So, you have to go through one bunk room in order to enter the 2nd bunkroom. I was going to put our 14-year-old son in one bunkroom and the young female grandkids in the other bunkroom. That did not work out as anyone could imagine... however, we did figure out a solution, and all was good. Alyssa was extremely polite when I needed to alter the number of people staying at her cabin, which we greatly appreciated

Alyssa's cabin was a great time all around. There was a place for everyone including toddlers and adults. The kayaks by the river provided a great time for those who decided to kayak but also the ones that stayed back and enjoyed the scenery . The cabin was very comfortable, there were games and a beautiful patio . Alyssa was always quick to respond and gave awesome recommendations. Don't hesitate BOOK NOW! my family and I will definitely be back !

Amazing vacation rental!! We enjoyed our 2024 spring break family vacation at this beautiful river front home!! Four generations of our family together creating memories that will last a lifetime!! We were able to ride side by sides across the highway and enjoy the beautiful views of the forest area!! It was so peaceful & relaxing, but with the bit of adventure our family enjoys. Our host was so friendly and very responsive to our questions!! I would absolutely recommend this rental & look forward to visiting again in the future!!!

Had a wonderful stay at Alyssa's place! The home was perfect. The bedrooms had wonderful views to the outdoors and modern baths! Loved the hot tub looking over the river below. Spent our evenings enjoying a fire and listening to the river at night. Would definitely stay here again. Took particular notice of the woodworking touches throughout the home including the circular sawn cabinet doors and live edge cedar interior accents. This is lumber country! Had fresh caught trout we caught every night due to a well furnished kitchen! Loved our stay!
