This family-owned "Cottage Home" has everything you need for you to enjoy a wonderful beach vacation - charm, provisions, comfy beds, and a relaxing beach vibe. It has been furnished with love and care by the owners and the management prides itself on service to each renter. Come and enjoy our Southern Hospitality in this "Isle of Palms original" that will take you back to the days before Hurricane Hugo. Originally built in 1968, it is a wonderful example of what a simpler life was like on the island back before tourism, Hurricane Hugo, and the IOP Connector. This lovely home has undergone numerous updates and additions over the years and will be a great spot for R&R! Set on a large .35 acre lot just four easy blocks to the ocean and one block from the IOP Rec Dept playground and park. This house is perfect for families.

We booked this cottage last minute to get away from Hurricane Helene destruction in Augusta, GA. My children and I were very happy to have electricity, running water, Internet, and cable. Alison and Rodd were gracious and communicative hosts. They even had snacks and drinks waiting for us in the kitchen. The beach and Isle of Palms recreation department are a short walk from the cottage.Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cottage was an issue. The vents have black mold. I cleaned the ceiling fans in the bedroom because there was a thick layer of palpable dust on the fan blades. When I took out the trash outside to the bins, there were maggots and flies in the bins. All of the rugs in the cottage are full of dust and dirt and need to be either replaced or steam cleaned. I even sent the host pictures of the problems.We ended up leaving a day early because the dust and dirtiness exacerbated our allergies and because our electricity was restored in Augusta, GA.

Nice peaceful home in a quiet safe neighborhood. 8 minute walk to the beach. Super responsive and if I come back to Isle of Palms, I would look to come back here. Thanks for a great stay.

This was a quaint property in a great area. Beach was close by as well as IoP Marina. Plenty is space for us to park two cars and boat trailer.

Lovely beach cottage

Very lovely beach house - comfortable & cozy beach feel. Great location close to beach and very quiet neighborhood. Ron & Alice were very responsive whenever I contacted them. Well stocked kitchen with a lot of pots & pans. Also nice to have newer washer/dryer as well as a dishwasher. Plenty of beach chairs, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
