Additional features of Meadow Blu include the following: High speed internet with Wi-Fi. Direct Check in Text and e-mail status updates of accommodations on arrival date. Full size washer and dryer. Parking for four cars. Linens and bath towels are provided, as well as starter supplies including soap, shampoo and paper products. Meadow Blu is an easy walk to the beach (approximately .2 miles, or 352 yards from the beach access path on 29th Ave). An outdoor shower is privately located in the back yard. Bike and cart rentals are available which make for fun island exploring or beach transportation. An additional bonus at Meadow Blu is that the Isle of Palms Recreational Center is only two blocks away! Tennis, basketball (indoor and outdoor), ballfields, exercise room, and a huge playground is perfect for families looking for additional activities. It is a fantastic facility and free for your family to visit. Ideally located, Meadow Blu is on the Isle of Palms making it an easy drive to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Historic Charleston. Sullivan’s Island (4.6 miles) features Fort Moultrie and wonderful dining options along Middle Street. In Mount Pleasant (4.1 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS Yorktown, Town Center shopping and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. Finally, Historic Charleston (14 miles) is the number one tourism destination in the United States, and offers some of the world’s finest restaurants, galleries, historic homes and gardens. Finally, the Windjammer, Seabiscuit, Acme Grill, as well as a number of other dining options are only 1 mile away in the commercial district (Front Beach). Meadow Blu is truly an oasis that will be hard to leave.

Reunion for Eleven College Sorority Sisters from OU

All eleven of us loved this fantastic home and found it to be an ideal place for a reunion. The home is gorgeous inside and out and is very spacious and extremely comfortable. It is just a few doors down from the beach which was ideal. The gourmet kitchen had excellent chairs to sit on whenever we rallied in the kitchen. The living room furniture and the furniture in the enclosed area by the fireplace near the pool were extremely comfortable. In fact all the seating in and outside of the home is very well selected, high end, and comfortable. All the beds were very wonderfully comfortable and had very nice bedding on them. The home is impeccably designed. The thoughtfulness and generosity of the owners is incredibly rare. Every kitchen tool, dish, and cookware you could ever need is within this kitchen. There is a generously stocked pantry for your essential needs as well. The owners have definitely dedicated themselves to taking care of anyone who rents their home. We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to stay and enjoy such a spectacular home.

The owners have definitely dedicated themselves to taking care of the renters in this home. We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to stay and enjoy such a spectacular home.

This is a little slice of heaven in a quiet neighborhood just steps from the beach. The house is an absolute southern charmer. The pictures dont do it justice. We absolutely loved the outside set up and having the outdoor speakers and TV to enjoy while we hung out by the pool. There is plenty of space to spread out and it was great to have the additional space in the finished area above the garage. There were plenty of beach chairs for us to use and even better that they had a beach cart to tote everything down in one trip. We will definitely be coming here again.

Simply amazing

This house is simply amazing. The location is absolutely ideal, the beach entrance is visible from the drive, the restaurants are walkable but still felt private and residential. The interior of this house is perfectly updated and modern without losing its historic beauty. This rental has perfected the perfect vacation right down to the perfectly engraved glasses. The property manager is incredible and while we didn’t have any issues it was clear that they were available if needed, even stopping in to give us the fun 4th of July festivity schedule. Just simply amazing.

Passing Time Under Palm Trees

The Beas Nest was absolutely AMAZING!! The Nest has the authentic charm of a classic beach house with all the comforts and conveniences of modern living. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all the bedrooms were large and comfy. The poolside tv and outdoor stereo made it really difficult to leave the resort-like pool deck. The location couldn’t have been more perfect; just steps from the beach and walking distance to some great beach bars and eateries. Charleston is short ride as is the super convenient airport. We have stayed at many different properties and this was, by far, the best stay.

Paradise on Earth

We stayed at the Bea's Nest for a mother and daughters' trip in February. The weather was brisk, which allowed us to enjoy the heated pool and outdoor gas fireplace. The girls stayed in the guest cottage which allowed the girls to have their own separate time. In addition, it was a quick walk to the beach, and we were able to start every morning with a walk on the beach at sunrise. The girls also took the golf cart out to the local restaurants down the street and all around the island for one of their many photoshoots. Although we weren't at the Bea's Nest for long, it felt like a much needed, relaxing vacation. The Bea's Nest is truly a very special place that we hope we will get another opportunity to return to!

Even better than home

I had no expectations of what luxury vacationing would feel like. I was in awe that The Bea’s nest had everything I didn’t think of. The areas were spacious and clean. The route to the beach is a hop, skip, and a jump. If you want to visit with your family, yet don’t always want them in your space this is the place. A slice of heaven

've had the pleasure of staying at the Bea's Nest twice last year, and both trips felt like a slice of heaven. It's hard to put into words the beauty of the Bea's Nest. Maybe it's how the home sits on the lot to allow all the dreamy light in, how the pool is situated in the heart of the home, or all of the special touches in every room that make you feel like you're "home". But there is just something truly special about the energy of the Bea's Nest. Our first trip in had unseasonable rain, and I just remember sitting on the front porch swing for hours drinking coffee listening to the rainfall, and then walking just steps away to the beach after the storm. It was all so peaceful and tranquil. Like a storybook. My second visit was with a larger group of women and we were all so comfortable with plenty of space to spread out - and yet still feel connected. It's the perfect home to gather as a large group, but also intimate enough for just a few. You can tell the home has been loved for years, and that the people who come to visit and stay love it too. I can truly say, without a doubt, that staying at the Bea's Nest was one of the most relaxing and special places I've had the pleasure of visiting.

A charming beach house in an enchanting city!

My mom, sisters and close girlfriends had the incredible opportunity to stay at the charming Bea's Nest despite the terrible circumstances that led me to this trip. From the moment I walked in, I was able to take a deep breath. The welcoming porch immediately calms you while also puts a smile on your face. The attention to detail that the owners put into the house was easily recognized. You feel incredibly comfortable in all of the living spaces including the many bedrooms. You can tell the house is meant to bring people together with the giant kitchen island and communal seating areas. The openness of the pool and all of the doors creates a very unique environment - especially for this Midwest girl who doesn't get to enjoy the outdoors within my living spaces. The house is filled with Sonos speakers to create a seamless musical experience in every room. The proximity to the beach is perfect! Do yourself a favor and set your alarms to get out and see the sunrise in the morning... its something I will truly never forget.

A peaceful retreat from your everyday

My husband and I live a very busy life and typically when we travel it takes two days to simply let go of work to actually enjoy ourselves. But there is something about this home and location that immediately allows you to enter vacation mode instantly. The home is safe and comfortable and very conveniently located by the beach for amazing sunsets or a quick commute to the best restaurants like Obstinate Daughter or Longboards. The hosts do a great job of maintaining the home and making sure we were pleased with our stay. The beds are comfortable for a good night sleep and the layout of home allowed our group to still have separation from one another when we needed a quick breather from vacationing together. I can’t recommend Beas Nest enough (if you can’t tell)

The Absolute Best!!!

Staying at the Bea’s Nest is life changing in the best way possible! It is everything you see in pictures….and more! My husband and I, and our three young children had the pleasure of staying at the Bea’s Nest for a few days. We traveled from PA and after doing a few days in Disney before hand, the time at the Bea’s Nest was much needed to decompress! Anything we needed for our kids/baby were readily available right in the house, which made life so easy. We used the pac n play, high chair and all the beach and pool toys/games! Not only were the accommodations beautiful, pristine and comfortable…the location was perfection! The short walk to the beach to catch those breathtaking sunrises, using the golf cart to head to nearby local restaurants, the kids laughing and swinging on the front porch swing, and countless hours spent in the pool/outdoor living space are just a few of the highlights that stand out! It truly is a breath of fresh air!

We visited the Beas Nest during December of 2020. We were in the heart of COVID and decided that we needed to do something to try and keep living . The summer of 2020 we lost my MIL and my oldest sister . To say that we were rock bottom is a under statement From the moment we crossed the Cooper River bridge it was spiritual experience. When you pull into this place your heart immediately starts to explode. The location is perfect . Literally you can throw a rock to the beach . Imagine having the CALM APP on real time . That’s what it is like . The pictures do not do this house baby justice. It’s a real life dream . Everything about it is next level . Every detail ! The Anderson are the best host. Ton of recommendations for food , recreational, beach and and things only locals do . This place is truly a refuge for healing . It’s more than a rental it’s a experience that everyone should get a chance to try

Southern Perfection

We have stayed at the Bea’s Nest a few times with our family and also with some of my girl friends. To say we had an amazing time is an understatement. It is such a beautiful area, a quick walk, half a block to the beach… every morning we‘d walk the beach with our coffee… it’s really an idyllic spot. The pool, outdoor seating area with TV and firepit, the upstairs lookout… there are so many gems that make The Bea’s Nest so special where we created so many memories. The Bea’s Nest really is a magical place. The location is perfect - quick walk to the beach, to the best tacos at Papi’s Taqueria, and a short drive to Charleston. The Dobbs Family Vacation

From the planning, to the first moment we entered into the Beas Nest for a family vacation, every detail was covered. The home is beautiful, very well kept and perfect for a family getaway. The beach is so close. If you forgot something and needed to run out to the store you can hop in the golf cart. We enjoyed cooking family dinners each night in the gourmet kitchen. We did a Friendsgiving long weekend in November 2020–a much needed gathering during a crazy time. We had THE BEST stay. Amazing home in every way. We especially loved the outdoor space, having coffee in the morning and cocktails at night by the fireplace while looking at the serene pool and backyard. Awesome location. Walk to beach. Ride bikes. Southern Charm!

The Bea's Nest was the perfect vacation rental for our family! First, the location is absolutely perfect. It's right next to the beach and local restaurants. We watched the sunrise every morning and biked around the neighborhood at golden hr! The decor is soothing, with a neutral, Caribbean vibe and the bedrooms are luxurious and cozy. Feels like Home!

Our family absolutely LOVES vacationing at the Beas Nest. It’s become our sanctuary in charming Charleston. The moment you walk in you know you’ve arrived into something so special. Our family enjoyed feeling connected through the amazing pool space that has loungers, a dining area, and even an outdoor living area. When we weren’t at the pool, the public beach access is just a minute walk away. We loved that the beaches never felt crowded, had the nicest sand for the kids to build sand castles, and warm, gentle waves to play in. The home was equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and a grocery store conveniently down the road! Each of the bedroom spaces is immaculate and has been thoughtfully curated to create comfort and relaxation. My husband and I loved our mornings spent on the serene private master balcony, to our afternoons enjoying the outdoor swing on the front porch. You will find decadence in all details of this very special home. The Best Spot Ever

We've stayed at the Beas Nest a few times and I don't even have the words to describe how special the place is. The moment you cross the threshold, you will find yourself in the most relaxing, spacious, welcoming home and you'll breathe a little lighter immediately. The way the sun filters into the house throughout the day through the trees outside, the outdoor space where the pool and fireplace are, the front porch swing... it is truly one of the best places we've ever stayed. There is so much to do and see close by too (steps from the beach and 15 mins from downtown Charleston!), but you'll find it most difficult to peel yourself away from the Beas Nest itself. Book here and make special memories.

We’ve stayed at The Beas Nest a few times now, it’s been our meeting spot with some of our life long friends. The location to the beach is perfect, the home is stunning yet so comfortable to relax in. It’s spacious and spread out so we all have our own personal space too. My kids love the pool area, my hubby loved to bbq, and then there’s an awesome covered shade area with an outdoor living space and tv to relax in. Wonderful!

The perfect getaway for all ages. We enjoyed a three generation family vacation, and our praise for this home is infinite. There are ample places to gather, but also lovely quiet spaces if you need time with yourself. There is a meditation space in the crows nest that offers a beautiful view to greet the day. The bedrooms and bathrooms did not disappoint, and the pool/outdoor living space was an absolute highlight for all of us. We enjoyed quiet morning coffee on the front porch, and took advantage of the short walk to the ocean everyday. Groceries and amenities were a brief drive, and very convenient. We are looking forward to our next trip, and hoping to explore Charleston a little more. We couldn’t bring ourselves to leave the home or the island on our last trip because we were so content! It is truly a magical home that everyone deserves to experience.
