Great location in Center Village, just a few minute walk to the American Eagle or American Flyer Chairlifts. The fully equipped condo has a beautiful kitchen with a breakfast bar, granite counter tops, and stainless appliances. There is a communal BBQ outside of the building that you are welcome to use. The bedroom has King Bed with a flat screen TV. The enclosed porch has been converted into a bonus room with heaters and additional sleeping space. There is a Bunk Bed with a Twin over Double Bed, plus a Twin Trundle Bed. In addition there is a Twin Day Bed. A trundle bed is a bed that folds down and slides under the main bed. Sleep up to 10 people! Great option for groups needing a lot of individual beds. Please be aware that there is just the one bathroom. The door that connects the bedroom to the porch area is a sliding glass door. The living room has a Queen Sleeper Sofa. You can bring your four legged friends. Additional pet fee of $100 per pet, max 2 dogs. Center Village is the main base area for Copper Mountain. There are many great shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The American Eagle Chairlift accesses intermediate terrain. The American Flyer has some green terrain, but all first timers or beginners need to take the bus to West Village. The bus picks up at Passage Point (right next door) and comes by every 5-10 minutes during the ski season. West Village has the Copper Mountain Ski and Ride School and "bunny" slope terrain. Parking: One Vehicle may be parked in garage below building (8'10"). Outside of the building are a handful of parking spots available on a first come, first serve basis. Any additional vehicles will need to be parked in the Alpine Lot with an additional charge during the winter, summer is free. There is a shared laundry facility here, and it requires quarters. Ski lockers are located in the garage on a First-Come-First-Serve basis, must bring your own lock. Pet-friendly with an $100 additional fee. Josh Stayed Feb, 2024 Review This was our third year staying at this condo, and we have always enjoyed our stay. There is room for about 6-8 guests and the condo is a short 5 minute walk to center village, which is so convenient.When we arrived, the king bed frame was broken in the middle, causing the mattress to sag in a deep U shape, which was unusable the first night. The Skyrun team sent someone out the next day to take care of this issue. They let us stay an extra night for free because of this issue and an incoming storm we were worried about.It seems they have reduced their amenities from previous years (no free parking, no ski locker, too few towels, too few kitchen supplies, no trundle bed, etc), but they were helpful during checkin to make sure we had everything we needed. We did have some issues with our stay this year, but would still highly recommend this condo as the Skyrun team is amazing. Host's response: Hi Josh,Thank you for your review. Worst I have ever had in 60 years of traveling. The main bed was OK but the others were crap... we all had a hard time sleeping. The master closet was full; no room for clothes. Also, over email they kept trying to sell an extra night, while at the same time they sent very threatening notes about being out on time, and the charges they were holding over our head if we were even an hour late. It makes it seem like they were trying to intimidate us into taking an extra night. TERRIBLE customer service. They also insisted that all (plastic) keys were left in the room, or returned to the office a mile or so away (a hassle) BUT the only way to get out of the garage was to have a key. Therefore, we had to drive out of the garage, and then go back up to the room to leave the last key. Another hassle! Also, the couches were worn and a little gross. We will be back to Copper Mtn., but would never rent that place again. Host's response: Hi David, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us! During the busy season many folks take advantage of staying in the units well past their check out time, so our other guest have to wait while we get them sorted and ready, so we try to be proactive on our communication. We haven't heard from folks that we are nasty. I am truly very sorry you felt that! Always feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or concerns, especially about the keys. We try to reuse the keys, so that is why we ask folks to leave them for us. Most buildings you do not need to use the keys to exit the building, this particular one is the exception, and our office is on the way out of Copper, so most do not find it that inconvenient to drop keys by. We will double check the wording on all our messaging systems so they do not come across rude or nasty in any way. Although only one bedroom the enclosed patio area acts like a second large bedroom and the living room has a pull out couch as well. excellent for a family as it gave all of us the privacy as well as community time we wanted. Plenty of beds in the Sunporch room for the kids and the kitchen was well enough stocked for what we needed. I liked being on the first floor so we could easily use the stairwell - even with loads of equipment. The elevator was getting serviced a couple times & seemed a bit slow. Although the building itself is dated - the unit was very nice. We would have loved blinds over the sliders so that we didn't disturb the kids at bed time, but we were all so tired it didn't matter that much. We never got a chance to use the fireplace, but maybe next time. Worth booking. Well appointed and stocked. The building is older, but unlike other reviews, I don't think it's dumpy, just older. I've found that if you want space at Copper you have to find the newly remodeled places in the older building, so that's our preference. Not a ton of privacy, but that's fine for our small family of 4. It does have one bathroom, so consider that. Overall, this place was great for our family and we absolutely plan to rent again. The place couldnt be in a better location, right next to the mountain and a lot of great spots for food in walking distance. Stayed Aug, 2017 Beautifully updated and great for our small group of friends. We went for the weekend in the summer to the Mac n Cheese fest and this condo was as close as you could get to the village center. Easy to walk back and forth from the bars/fest at the mountain. The building is secure, with secure garage parking. This unit is beautifully updated with lots of space. The bathroom is super gorgeous (would have liked to have a second one though). There were 7 young adults there for the weekend and we were very comfortable. The converted patio is an excellent hang-out area. Very cozy master bedroom with huge king bed. Keep in mind, the sleeping situation is different and there is little privacy other than the master bedroom. Great for a small family or a group of friends. Plenty of room and a fantastic view. Open the windows and you have an instant white noise maker. (the river) The master bed had a comfy memory foam mattress. Loved the kitchen. Roomy and easy to cook in. Paul was prompt with emails explaining where the condo was and how to get the key cards after hours. Parking garage was nice. They even gave us an extra parking pass for the mother in law who met us and stayed with us. Everything was easy to get to. Great location!
