When winter hits and you start planning your next ski trip, you'll want to check out Copper Mountain, Colorado a premier ski resort in Summit County with slopes that everyone from the smallest snow bunny to the Olympic skiing and snowboarding teams enjoy. This condo has amazing location: it is a ski in/ski out unit highly desirable for the group that wants to catch first chair in the morning, or for parents taking their kids to ski lessons at the ski school. Right at the bottom of American Eagle and American Flyer lifts, the 'easy-riding' slopes, and there's a shuttle to take you to the far side of the mountain base, where more lifts await! Copper Junction is set at the heart of Central Village with access to dining, shopping, ski/snowboard rentals, lift ticket sales, and only a short walk to Copper's Ski and Ride School.

The unit itself is simple mountain-lodge style, with stone textures and tones, wrought iron accents, and leather furniture.

Your living/dining area has a gorgeous corner gas fireplace, with a large flatscreen TV - catch the cable news or that new episode of your favorite sitcom, or watch a movie with the provided DVD player and movie library. Don't forget to bring your favorite board games to challenge your friends. There's WiFi for your own personal Netflix streaming. The highlight of this unit is its enclosed balcony facing out towards American Eagle lift.

Your kitchen is fully stocked with an electric range stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and double-door, stainless steel refrigerator - a great place to stash snacks and lunch items, or cook a full-blown family-style meal. The dining room table seats four, and there are two extra bar chairs to accommodate those few extra guests.

This is a one-bedroom, two-bathroom unit. The first bathroom is closest to the living room, which has a queen-sized Murphy bed in the wall so you can turn your living room into a makeshift suite! The bedroom has two queen-sized beds with feather tops, and its own TV. This lovely Copper Mountain vacation rental has enough space to sleep up to six guests.

Copper Junction enjoys an easy location near Copper Mountain fitness center (please note that there is an additional fee to enter the rec center). The condo building has a private covered parking garage and elevator access. The covered parking has a clearance of 7'2". There are also some uncovered parking spaces on a first come first serve basis. You also have access to a shared washer/dryer facility.

This unit is great for families spending their holidays away from home, or groups of friends gathering for some serious powder days. The place was very clean, spacious and well decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware and we had more than enough towels. The beds were extremely firm, but if that's what you like, this will be perfect for you. We loved being right next to the mountain I highly recommend this place.

The place was awesome and so close to the slopes. Our family had a wonderful stay in the cozy unit. Two minutes to the Gondola and three minutes to restaurants, stores, and coffee shops, but it was very private and removed. It made skiing with kids very easy, and it is a great location for a family or group to spend several days. Awesome place!

The GOOD:Cannot beat the location and convenience to lifts (especially to Center Village' American Flyer & American Eagle), shuttle stops, Starbucks downstairs, and restaurants, all within 2-3 mins walk. There is parking inside the building however, it is first come first serve (not assigned). The BAD:The apartment is old and it clearly shows its age - from the carpet and decor, to analog thermostat that is hard to adjust. The bathroom ceiling was full of yellow stains, and the vent is clogged with dust.Bed headboards are right above floor heat vents and caused headaches to half of our family. We had to turn the heat down and just cover ourselves with a lot of blankets to sleepCheck out is at 10, which is earlier than most Airbnb's. That was fine, but the cleaning crew came to knock on our door 3 times starting at 8am and the second time they left all the linens and towels in a bag blocking our door and making it inconvenient to pack and check out. We left right at

Review

Overall had a great stay. The place itself was spacious and clean. There is also a solid BBQ restaurant built into the first floor which was to our delight. Also easy slope access built into the complex. Only downside was you need to bring quarters for the laundry which is not in unit. Colorado is also a plastic-less state which we learned but we left reusable Walmart bags for the next tenants. Hope your stay will be as enjoyable as ours!

Terrific location

Slopside Easy Living

Great slopeside location in center village. Nice to have ski locker and close proximity to chair lifts and shops/food. Wonderful spot for our vacation. Would come again!
