This is lock off unit of a privately owned condo. This fantastic and spacious top floor hotel room sleeps 2 people. This hotel room is also pet friendly. It is easy to catch the first chair in this ski-in/ski-out hotel room! Ski down to the base of the American Eagle Lift or the Green Acres learning area. There is a king size bed and a flat screen TV. The bathroom features a shower/tub combination with a curved shower curtain rod, and there is a separate sink area for getting ready in the morning. Enjoy stunning views of the Ten Mile Range and the Sky Chutes from your private balcony. Copper Mountain Inn is ski-in/ski-out to the American Eagle chairlift, which accesses intermediate terrain. There is also a "magic carpet" surface lift for first timers and beginners located right next to the American Eagle. There is an easy groomed trail that runs behind the building that accesses the Green Acres learning area. Green Acres has a "bunny slope" chairlift that is great for kids and beginners. The kitchen is small but they have everything you need - plates, silverware, hot plate, etc. Host was very helpful and provided clear directions for after-hours check-in. Would absolutely stay here again.Only downside is that the unit has one of those connecting doors with the neighboring unit, and we could hear *everything* from next door. Not sure if they own or were renting that unit but they had loud parties from ~5-12 three nights in a row. Not SkyRuns fault, and its probably very common in ski condos, but just a heads up! It was a little strange as there are lots of pots & pans but only a hot plate to cook on ( if you could figure out how to use it). Refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave were nice to have. I had one incident when my key cards stopped working and someone came within 10 minutes of my call to replace the cards. Definitely would consider staying there again. Whats not to like? Larry Stayed Mar, 2019 Review This is a cozy AirBnB with a great location. It's a bit small, about the size of a hotel room, but absolutely fine for 2 people. And once we figured out the ski-in, ski-out, it changed how we planned our day. The place was well equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker (takes cone filters), glasses, pots & pans, and a hot plate for cooking. We sadly, couldn't get the hot plate to work but that may have just been us. We didn't plan on having it so it didn't impact us at all. The place also has a great area to put skis, and a nice bathroom and shower.The sauna in the building doesn't work, but included is access to the Copper Mountain Athletic Club which has a pool, hot tub, and wet & dry saunas. The mini fridge held a weekend's worth of food, the ice machine and balcony kept our drinks cold in our cooler. Guest services were super polite and quick to respond to questions. Light sleepers should bring earplugs or a white noise machine, thin walls here. Christopher Stayed Jan, 2017 Review The room was described as a "hotel style room". To me, 'hotel style' implies some amenities outside of the room. A lobby, maybe a coffee maker or microwave somewhere central. A desk, or a spot to work for a couple hours mid vacation. There are none. This is literally a room, with a bed, dresser, and bathroom, with nothing else. There are two sinks though, which was nice. This room is very dated. The walls are painted a brownish green color that looks like three or four old buckets of paint were mixed together to save some money. The paint is peeling in many places. The carpet is worn. In general, and especially in comparison to other updated options on the mountain, this place needs a full refresh. Sky Run staff, from front to back, were very helpful and friendly. We have zero complaints about the management. However, the fit and finish of the room definitely falls below our expectations for a Copper Mountain room at the price point we paid (even over the holiday weekend). If you get a great price, and want to stay close to center village, then this room will give you a place to sleep with a roof over your head. For us, we will definitely look for someplace different the next time we stay at Copper. Host's response: The property was updated in fall of 2018, with a completely new look.
