This condo in The Lodge at Copper is one of the most popular TRUE ski-in/ski-out vacation rentals available! It is located in Center Village, right next to the American Flyer chairlift which accesses green and blue terrain. Enjoy all the shops and restaurants that Center Village has to offer. It is really easy to ski-in, take break or have lunch, and be skiing or riding again in minutes. In the Summer this property is located right off the Ten Mile Creek which you can hear while you sleep! With a large private porch you can listen to the river and enjoy the summer weather in the Rockies! The condo is on the first floor of the Lodge at Copper building. Enjoy the large private balcony. There is a great communal outdoor hot tub to enjoy after a long day of skiing or riding. The master bedroom has 1 King-size bed. The second bedroom has a Queen-size bed and a set of twin bunk beds. The living room also has a Sleeper Sofa. This condo sleeps up to 8. The condominium has a well-equipped kitchen with everything to make you feel right at home. The large family room has been host to some really intense monopoly games, puzzle building and quiet movie nights in front of the gas fireplace. There is garage parking for 1 vehicle. Outside of the building are a handful of parking spots available on a first come, first serve basis. Additional parking is available in the North Alpine Lot for an additional charge in the winter, summer is free.
With 2,433 acres of ski able terrain Copper has long been known as a locals favorite. The mountain naturally divides the terrain so you do not have to worry about all different abilities skiing and riding together. Beginners go to West Village. Center Village has some green terrain and great intermediate slopes. The more advanced skiers and riders tend to go out of East Village and the back side of the mountain.

Ski in ski out

Many properties that we have stayed at are not ski in ski out. This condo is everything that it said it was! True ski in ski out. Extremely close to center village. Kitchen well stocked. Beds comfortable! Awesome experience!

Ski Trip

The property was very clean, great access to the garage / ski lockers and to the back door which allows for ski in / ski out access. Overall, a great condo it an excellent location.

The Lodge stay

Sky Run staff were friendly and responsive. Had a couple of issues - missing ski locker key prior to our arrival and lost room key cards. Issues managed quickly. Location is great. Would like to stay there again.

Great stay, awesome location

We had a great stay at the Lodge at Copper. This unit was great for two couples, but we could have fit more people with their ample beds. The property management company was excellent. For example, we noted that the coffee pot for broken when we arrived, and they had a replacement out to us within an hour. The Lodge is an unbeatable, true ski in/ski out location. Weve stayed in various units now 3 times, and if your goal is to go to Copper and spend your time skiing, its about as well situated as it gets.

Nice Ski In at Copper

We had a nice stay. The condo is a bit dated but the location is good. The ski in access was great for us but ski out was more challenging. We decided it was easiest to carry skis down to the lift rather than deal with the effort of getting there with skis on. It is a short walk - maybe 50-100 yards. The pictures show a Keurig but there is not one in the condo just regular coffee maker. The management company was great just dont expect any answers if you try to make contact through the VRBO app but if you call they will answer your questions.

Awesome Place

This is my third time staying at the Lodge at Copper. These experiences have all been great. The hot tub had an issue, and within an hour, it was fixed. The room was spacious and had everything you could need for the stay.

NIce location.

Nice property and location. Management company was not helpful (i.e., gave us the wrong code to get into the building and couldn't figure out the correct code for hours; no towels for hot tub, etc.). Property could also use some better lighting.

Best ski in/ski out

The location makes this property work, its easy to go to the lift and easy to get back to. Have stayed here twice this season with the wife and two adult children the condo itself is cozy and well equipped so we could make all meals in it. Will be back!

Great condo - caution with small kids

Property was as described. Mostly clean upon arrival although kitchen was somewhat dirty. No dish towels provided in kitchen, so had to use bathroom hand towels. Washer and dryer are $1.25 per load and only takes quarters, so plan ahead if you want to do laundry. Condo was very adequate for three small kids and two adults! Appreciated and enjoyed the provided sleds!Location note: ski in and ski out but only accessible from the runs at the bottom of the American Flyer lift. With small, beginner skiiers, we ended up walking quite a bit to the green acres run and then again to the Kokomo and Lumberjack lifts. Would have to make a better plan to access beginner runs with small kids if we came to Copper again.Overall, good property and as advertised with covered, garage parking. Easy communication and check in with SkyRun.

Excellent Summer Vacation

Very Enjoyable

The place is super cute and right on the mountain! Kitchen is well supplied for all your cooking needs. We had a stain on our shower curtain and didn't have any dishwasher pods but management came immediately to resolve both issues. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Property!

The condo was as advertised, great ski in and out location. The guys over at Sky Run were very accommodating for us. The condo was in good shape and had a few cooking items above the microwave which was nice. The first floor location was easy to access the side door for ski in and ski out access.

Great location, nice building

This is the perfect condo for ski-in/ski-out at Copper. The building size is great. This unit is on the first level, quiet, and literally across the hall and out a door to get to ski trail that takes you down to Flyer lift. Our family of 2 adults, 3 kids was very happy and comfortable here.

Good central spot

Condo was very nice - unfortunately due to it being on first floor, there was a trailer parked which blocked half the view of the balcony when we sat outside, though, as the view to the stream was over a small parking lot. Skyrun staff was great - we couldn't find a toaster and after a text they located one quickly for us. Copper doesn't have a lot around it but it is a good central spot to drive up to Vail and down to Frisco so we liked the location.

Excellent location. close to center village and lifts. unlike lots of condos that say ski in-out, this you can literally ski to the door. The staff for reservations and questions are very helpful and professional.
