Location couldnt have been more perfect! The balcony looks down on the final 500 feet of the course. This unit faces the mountain (rather than the highway). Copper is a beautiful Basecamp for road biking or hiking. (Miles of bike paths and the Colorado Trail at your doorstep)The pool area is beautiful with shady space for the hot tubs. Theres no AC and we were here during the hottest weeks of the year we did ok with fans at night. 50 weeks of the year you probably dont even need the fan. Layout is fantastic for a family with the bunk beds in a nook off the main living area. It had a curtain to pull across to block out morning light. Cooked all but 2 meals there. The unit has a good selection of cookware but no cutting knives. Salt and pepper but no oil other staples. The fridge makes lots of ice. Tap water was delicious!The luggage carts were handy!Pizza and beer at Sawmill were great. Camp Hale has some cool outdoor brands. Host's response: Thanks, Scott for the nice review. There was maintainace and at certian times I had to use my mobil hotspot. i was bummed that the fireplace did not work. it was electric but it would not turn on and would have been great to get the place a bit warmer. This centrally located apartment was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful views from the balcony. About a 200 yard walk to American Eagle ski lift. SkyRun was easy to contact and responsive. When I called regarding a broken toaster, a new replacement was at our door within an hour. Safe, secure parking is in the underground garage where you need your room key for access. If this unit is not available for our next trip to Copper, we will try to get another SkyRun apartment. My only complaints are that there were no kitchen towels or salt and pepper. A couple very basic items that are annoying when not provided.
