SUBMIT Scott Stayed Aug, 2023 Review The most quiet and relaxing location we've ever stayed at in Copper. Long term residents were extremely friendly and welcoming. It felt more homey and less like a hotel than some of the bigger resort buildings. Host's response: Thanks, Scott for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the quiet and relaxing property for your vacation at Copper. Thanks for the message about the garage, we will double-check the listing on Airbnb. Hope to have you as a return guest! Tom Stayed Jan, 2022 Review All was great communication location Wonderful time. I am a super host on cape cod so I get it. Air B and B em up Host's response: Thanks, Tom for the nice review. I'm glad you had an enjoyable vacation. Hope to have you as a return guest! Homemaker Stayed Jan, 2022 Convenient location Great location for extra family to stay. They enjoyed their stay! Rebecca Stayed Jul, 2021 Review We all enjoyed our stay here. The beds and linens were really comfortable and the ceiling fans were wonderful. Also, the unit feels quite private with windows to a nice sized community yard (great for kids to throw the ball around) and the golf course. You really can't see other units, etc. The condo also has an easy 10 minute walk to the Center Village where there are plenty of eating and activity options. Host's response: Thanks, Rebecca for the nice review, hope to have you as a return guest! Darin Stayed Mar, 2021 Review Beds were comfortable plenty of towels communication was outstanding. Very comfortable stay and location was great. Nice choice of board games. Blake Stayed Jan, 2021 Review Efficiently set up space for our family of four. Location is East Village is alright, especially if you ski more difficult terrain. If you are a beginner, take the shuttle to Center Village or West Village. Kiersten Stayed Dec, 2020 Review Easy walk to Super Bee lift. Apartment was clean and spacious. SkyRun was very responsive and even let us check-in early. We had a great weekend. Brian Stayed Sep, 2020 Review My wife and I spent the better part of a week at Wheeler House in early September, just prior to dropping our son off at college, and in the midst of a very early season snow storm, with wildfires burning in Colorado. It is an amazing location (Copper Mountain). The views of the mountains are almost 360 degrees. SkyRun is the management company that oversaw our reservation. They were very professional, and proactive in their communications. The space itself is showing its age, a bit, but still provided clean and comfortable accommodations. It was great having a fully appointed kitchen, especially since the dining options at Copper Mountain at that time of year are limited. Our unit had an enclosed sun deck, where we sat every evening watching the sun set over the mountains and the bats come out to hunt insects (not that we noticed any bugs). The best part of our stay, though, were the local outdoor activities. We got up early one morning and hiked up the ski slopes, until the altitude finally got to us. The base of the mountain is at 9,700 and the summit is over 12,000. We then rented bikes from the Rebel bike shop in Frisco, the closest big town, and hired them to shuttle us up to Vail Pass, and then we rode down the amazing bike path all the way to Dillon Reservoir, before returning the bikes to Frisco. Well worth it. Another day we rented fly rods from Cutthroat Anglers in Silverthorne and tried our luck at Officer's Gulch and on the Eagle River in Mintur (sp?) past Vail, off on I-70 West. On another day we looked up local trails on our AllTrails app and found a great local hike to Wheeler Lakes. You can actually walk to the trailhead from Copper Mountain, though we followed the app's directions on how to get there by car. We discovered that there were many more restaurants open in neighboring Frisco and Breckenridge, which are both short drives from Copper Mountain, and well worth the visit. One note of caution: The elevation. We thought it was a joke when we saw oxygen being sold in local stores. Coming from the east coast, we had some trouble sleeping at night, feeling shortness of breath. We also found that our sinuses dried out in the dry Coloradan air.It is so important to stay hydrated at higher elevations, and heed the headache. Also, we rented a 4-cylinder economy car for our visit. The sales clerk tried to talk us into an SUV, citing the mountain passes. Our little car did fine. Rahul Stayed Aug, 2020 Review Great location and a fully stocked condo. The walls were thin and you could hear the neighbors in the hallways sometimes, but was never a deal breaker for us. The unit had great views and plenty of space for my group of 4. Would definitely like to check it out again in the winter for when we're back for skiing! Kusuma Stayed Jul, 2020 Review Great place and cozy with good views of the golf course and Copper mountains from the balcony. It is clean and well kept, short walk to Central Village and super convenient for all sorts of activities and Skyrun was an excellent host! Myra Stayed Jul, 2020 Review We love it! Very clean and close to everything! So many hiking and biking trails nearby! SkyRun is fast in responding to all of my concerns and questions. Jacques Stayed Jan, 2020 Review Overall, great value when taking into account the proximity to the lifts (2 minute walk) and the amenities of the house. The response time is great with SkyRun and they are more than willing to fix any broken amenities (coffee maker for me) with hesitation. Great value, and Id surely stay here again my next time at Copper Mountain Rob & Candace S. Stayed Jan, 2020 Enjoyed out stay! Nice condo. Comfortable beds and good showers with plenty of hot water. Basic kitchen supplies for cooking. Plenty of pillows, sheets and towels. Great access to the slopes! Nice underground parking for one car. When we arrived, another car was parked in our spot, but we notified management and the car was not there the next day (hopefully, it was just moved and not towed). The toaster and crockpot were broken, but everything else was in good working order. Unit was clean and comfortable. Management was accessible & responsive. Host's response: Rob, We are glad to hear that this unit worked out for you. As a vacation rental company we always strive to be accessible and responsive so we appreciate that positive feedback, we look forward to having you stay with us at SkyRun in the future! Breana K.
