It was a quite little oasis that felt further away from the city than it actually is. We were a quick uber ride from most things, and a short walk from Sloans Lake and some local eateries. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and taking in the uniqueness of the area. Jen was a wonderful host with great communication. I would recommend this Wheat Ridge retreat for anyone visiting the Denver area that is looking to get more of a native experience. The flat has a comfortable living room that is easy to relax and unwind in. The bedroom has a king size bed, which is a plus The neighborhood is also quiet and very safe. Definitely smaller than expected but still comfortable. Note that it doesn't have a stove/range or kitchen sick. Dish washing happens in the bathroom. Also, if you have sensitivities, it does have a slightly musty (basement) smell. It didn't bother me after a bit, but could be an issue for some. Also, if you are taller than 5'10, prepare to duck down going in and out of the bedroom and bathroom, else you will hit your head on the duct system.
