Booked a last minute Labor Day long weekend getaway with a friend. We enjoyed our stay very much. The views from the living room and porch were amazing. The unit was comfortable and clean. Only negative was the hall bath which was small and cramped. The location was excellent, and it was a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and other beach options.

This condo was absolutely lovely! My mother in law could watch us play on the beach from the living room, which she enjoyed. The location was great, the pool and facilities were clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was fabulous. It was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. Location has its own private beach, lots of room, full kitchen and w/d. Ease of access to attractions amd local shopping.

We will be back
We loved the location and the commnication was so great. From day one if we needed anything they responded quickly. Only thing we suggest is the outdoor patio furniture made us a little nervous having a toddler since it was as tall as the railing. Maybe shorter table and chairs there. But overall an amazing stay. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully to the same place.

Great little condo with fantastic location & views
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this condo. The kids loved that after a long days adventures, we could walk down to the beach and they could play in the waves of the Gulf of Mexico. There was also a little beach in the bay more protected from waves.

This is an amazing rental with a beautiful ocean view. The only complaint I have is the fridge/freezer wasn’t cold enough and the meat started to thaw in it. Thankfully Edgar helped us out by letting us use the one in the next unit.

Location cant be beat! Wonderful views and nice pool for evening swims. Rental was clean upon arrival. The furniture is a little big and hard to seat 4 at the table without knocking knees. We would stay again!

The condo was beautiful and the view is amazing. The only reason for 4 stars was the walk to the beach and the available beach space. When looking at the pictures you see beach chairs and umbrellas, those aren't for public use and the beach space they take up is also unavailable to the public. We were told by the guys working the service that they were for another condominium group off of the harbor so we couldn't rent them and we had to find beach space on either side of their area. To some this may not be a big deal, but to us, it was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the trek to the beach with a wagon was awful! I guess that's no one's fault, just wanted others to know that if your wagon isn't specifically made for the sand to prepare to work yourself to death pulling it.

The view from this condo was amazing; however, the walk is ridiculously long to get to the beach. Half of the beach is reserved for guests staying at another hotel that has to shuttle over via boat which leaves you having to walk even farther. No bathrooms are close by. This beach is also where every snorkeling boat drops their guests off to snorkel, so it can get crowded quickly. The condo was nice and the complex itself is small so not too crowded. If people are at the pool late at night it can be a little loud, which might be difficult for guest with young children trying to sleep. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and if you dont mind the long walk you will too.

Place was great. Beautiful views and we were able to see the dolphins playing in the bay from our balcony. Pictures are spot one. It is a hike to the beach from the condo because if all the sand. But very quiet community. Hopefully this unit will be available when we visit Destin again.

Beautiful location
We were just amazed at the location. So close to the beach. We were able to just walk over the dunes and you were there. Every morning we woke up to this beautiful site and enjoy our coffee on the patio and every evening enjoy the gorgeous sunset. The condo was perfect size for our 4 person family, 2 adults and 2 kids. We loved that we were able to cook in or utilize the grill available at the complex instead of going out to eat every night. We definitely plan on coming back in the summer to enjoy the busy to of the year.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay. The end unit was perfect for viewing the boat traffic in the jetty and the sunsets were incredible. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. We found the unit was nicely supplied and the location is close to many restaurants and activities. Having visited in the fall we found it a very quiet and restful experience.

Family vacation
We loved our home away from home! It was right on the beach just some sand dunes separating us from the ocean. My 14-year-old loved going out night fishing searching for crabs and snorkeling next to the jetties! The view from our condo was absolutely beautiful! The condo is just a short 10 minute drive to all the downtown Destin activities. It was nice to be able to spread out in a condo versus staying in hotel.

Wonderful Property
Upon arrival our unit was ready, cool and clean, which was important due to us being on the road 10 1/2 hours. Location was great! Unit was recently remodeled, all appliances were up to date and modern and neat. Very cozy and great view of the ocean and the pool! I was very impressed and intend on using La Vista in the future. No problems with check in and they even gave me an extended stay option. Great people to work with and I highly recommend!

Unit was just very close to the beach and had a great view. The kitchen was under stocked, no consumables like salt and pepper or any type of condiments, cellophane, foil, or the like. So if you plan to do some cooking there, might want to be aware. Made it difficult because we chose to fly in and Uber around, but there were very few Ubers available during our trip. The unit itself was great though. Enjoyed the stay!

June 2021 First time visiting Destin
We had a great time staying at this location for the first time! It is smaller and a lot less busy than the places we usually stay at in PCB. Our condo was very clean, was gated, and the pool area was well equipped and clean. The other reviews are correct in stating that it is a bit of a walk down to the beach. Our activity tracker measured the walk to be 1/4 of a mile IF you are walking past the reserved chairs/umbrellas to set up your own. It was a slight disappointment that so much of the beach was reserved for Emerald Grande guests and the rest of us had to walk further down to find a spot. A huge plus is that the area where we could set up was one of the areas that at least 5 different snorkeling companies stop on their tours. So, bring your snorkel masks and you will get to see all sorts of fun things!! We even saw a group of Dory fish and needle fish!We learned that during the summer there are fireworks to be seen right on this beach every Thursday night. They started at about 9 and the show was great!!If you dont mind get your steps in on vacation, this is a great choice! We will definitely recommend it to others!!

JUST WOW
First I want to say that the entire trip was amazing despite the rain. Edgar was a life saver and amazing host. Without him we would not have had a vacation at all. He answered all questions right away. Even the stupid questions I asked like how to fix the tv lol. The location was perfect and tucked back away from all the traffic getting into Destin. We could see the beach from the condo balcony. It was very quiet. Kids loved the pool and you can just walk right out the back to the beach. The place was very clean. They had some cookware but I'm a big cooker and was glad I brought some of my own pans with me. The jetties were close so fishing and snorkeling was always an option. We caught plenty of fish and even caught a shark at night. Just be aware that all boats stop in large numbers at the beach during the day so we would wait out the crowds. Only issue I had in the unit was the bathroom doors would not stay closed and we had to mess with it awhile to get them to stay closed even when locked. we were so bummed to leave but we have already started looking into coming back here next year. This is the perfect spot! Thanks again!

Never expected the Gulf side views! We had an unobstructed view of the Gulf. Pool was great. The location is spectacular! We were able to snorkel the jetty that others were paying for on an excursion. 4 stars on cleanliness due to the comforters not being as clean as possible.

We had a fantastic mini vacation and cant wait to return in the fall. The location was perfect. Tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle but a short 5 minute drive to everything! The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed to get us started. Great communication with Edgar. He was always quick to reply with anything that we needed.... although we didnt really need much. I only asked where the broom was. We enjoyed the views from the condo and spent most of our time down at the beach watching dolphins, sea turtles and sting rays. I would highly recommend staying here!!

The condo was nice overall. A lot of the outlets didn't work and there are some things that need updating. The comdo is ran by a property management company so you didnt get the usual touches you get when renting from a private owner. No even a salt shaker left behind. Maybe that is a covid thing? The walk to the jetty beach is fine. It is over dunes, as seen in pics, but it is hard in anyone with mobility issues. The walk to the actual gulf beach was very long, so be prepared. The jetty beach is used by another resort, which took up a lot of room and made it quite crowded. The fishing is good off the jetty so bring a pole. Overall it was a nice stay.

Even with the weather due to Beta out in the gulf we had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the balcony with the wonderful views. It was a bit of a walk to the beach area. But it was so worth it. The walk was beautiful. With the dunes, jetties, and wildlife. We saw pelicans, herons, and all kinds of birds. While we were fishing on the jetties we saw dolphins out in the bay.It was a great fishing spot. We caught red drum and flounder mostly. It was a great and relaxing time. Also can not say enough about Edgar. He is great. He answered all our questions and was just a text or phone call away. I don't think I have had better communication or customer service. I would give him more than 5 stars. He really wants to make your vacation great.

Great spot for kids, big and little
Great location, calm waters on the inlet and good waves not far away in gulf. Pretty blue water. Only downfall is its a decent hike to get there.

What a view!! The balcony was perfect! We had a bit of rain and it was a perfect spot to take cover and watch the boats come and go! The water was absolutely gorgeous! The beach is clean! Keep an eye out for dolphins! Didn't want to leave!

Edgar was amazing. We needed a place to stay for a few days while my town recovered from Hermine, and Edgar was very kind and gracious. He was super-attentive to everything, and made sure my family had an amazing experience. The view is fantastic and super-close to the beach. The room was awesome, the A/C was great, and we had a wonderful time. Very highly recommended!

Perfect spot for the price! We stayed at Poolside Village. We traveled from Houston to Florida and Edgar was very accommodating. The unit looks out to the pool as well as to the beach. The beach was literally within a walking distance. Many tour boats would come and dock right on the beach area facing our unit. The unit is at a great beach location. The unit was stocked with sample size basic needs stuff. Also very good location close to everything including the board walk, gift shops, restaurants, and night life.

The place was clean and the views of the beach was wonderful. The condo is walking distance from the beach too. I would definitely stay here again! Plus the drive to go eat or to go do something was not a far drive at all, good location/place to stay at.
