Dog Friendly - Up to 2 dogs - an additional non-refundable fee of $150/per dog. No dogs on the beach. ACCOMMODATIONS The condo is located on the top floor and has 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. There is no elevator to this floor. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-panel TV, sliding door to the back deck, and a private bath with a combo shower/tub. The guest bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-panel TV, and direct access to the spare bathroom, including a combo shower/tub. The living room is fitted with a queen-size sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs for those who wish to eat in. There is a large laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. COMMUNITY and BEACH Sandpiper Cove is a stress-free resort with 24-hour security and provides other shared common areas where guests and children can fish, picnic, play yard games, or simply relax in the breeze. Two restaurants on the resort include the award-winning fine dining Louisiana Lagniappe and Rick's Crab Trap on the resort’s private beach. DINING and SHOPPING With lots of shopping nearby, you'll have plenty of opportunities to find that perfect souvenir, gift, or a way to spend time away from the beach. You can catch a round-trip water taxi directly from the onsite marina to Harborwalk Village, where you can find some unique stores and Destin's most desirable restaurants, including Marina Cafe, AJ's, Boathouse, and Beauchamps. This unit was great to entertain all 11 of us for the one dinner we stayed in. Well ordered pizza. We were close to pickleball, tennis, several pools and a easy walk to the beach. The beach service is amazing, so you dont have to lug chairs and umbrellas. Our dog loved walks around the complex and everyone cleaned up after their pets. It is a short walk to Sandpiper Cove's private beach that we visited every day, and then relaxed in the hot tubs and main pool. We enjoyed a Destin sunset whale watching cruise, tried a helicopter tour with Timberview Helicopters but weather conditions were unfavorable, which made for awesome body surfing at Miramar and SC's beaches! My kids and I fell in love with the Emerald Coast! We ate at Whale's Tail Beach Bar & Grill and McGuire's Irish Pub, but most meals were made at the condo considering that SkyRun provided all the home-style kitchen essentials, as well as raquets, clubs, and body board. The decor was beautiful! I loved that the condo had three sliding glass doors to let in a lot of light, the ocean breeze, soft noises of pickleball, and overall quiet location away from the other noises of the street, marina/canal, and pool.
