I came here with my friends to have a girls getaway in the mountains (summer time). The sleeping accommodations were great, as well as having a bathroom for every room!We enjoyed the beautiful views of wild life and the amazing evening sky! Prepare to be wowed with the view of the stars! Theres a walking path that also has beautiful views! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and enjoying ourselves in downtown, which is not too far away but a car is needed. Only complaint was the level of cleanliness at the property. Kitchen utensils were left dirty, as well as a pair of dirty socks from the last tenant, I presume. There was also a jalapeo left in a drawer. The problem with this was the lack of cleaning products available, no counter cleaner or a broom to clean up the area or vacuum for the carpeted areas.Overall a great stay, but expected a bit more cleanliness for the price. There are two semi separate living spaces and lots of stairs. You come into the lower level living room with an adjacent bedroom, small kitchenette and a full bathroom. Upstairs is the kitchen, half bathroom, living room, and a bedroom with a full bathroom, upstairs from that is a loft with a queen size bed, three twin beds and a 3/4 bathroom. The view is beautiful and the deck and hot tub are such fun additions. Theres even a cute neighborhood chicken that pops by occasionally, which was a huge plus with my kids! I was a little weirded out by the kitchen mirror and some of the house noise. The mirror is solid and backed by drywall, and the house sets high in the mountain so the wind is noisy. The only issue we had was that the hottube seemed to not work. we reached out and due to the location and the maintenence person, they were unable to get out while we were there to address it. It would have been nice to have used the hot tub for the whole weekend, not just a little bit on our last day, but I don't really blame the host. Host's response: The hot tub is up and working. Limited and broken kitchen supplies provided and very outdated (pots and pans). Starter kit provided was basically cheap soap. The check in was late and check out was early so we didnt feel like we got to stay long. There were NO extra blankets anywhere to be found. Also, it stated there would be a pack n play and there was not one that we could find. I find these important things to know if you are flying in for a trip with family and cant easily pack these items. Host's response: Thank you for your review. Renters are hard on pots and pans etc. We replace items as they come to our attention and do a full inventory every winter of what needs to be replaced. The starter kit items are not "cheap" and include shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, etc. It takes time to clean, inspect and maintain 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom homes. The current check in and check out times leave only a six hour window to prepare the homes for the next guest. The listing states a pack n play is available upon request, you did not request a pack n play. We would have been happy to bring one to you had you contacted us during your stay. I struggled with it being too warm but Im sensitive to heat as well. Lots of stairs so if you dont do good with stairs this is not the place for you. You can either enter through the basement or else walk up a somewhat steep side yard to go through the side door. Some of the beds werent as comfortable as others but it was no biggie to us because there were plenty of beds to choose from. There were at least four routes to drive to go into Estes Park all about 10 minutes long and all beautiful. trail right out front of the house that runs along a little creek we saw deer and their babies as well as an elk. Nice neighborhood. They struggled a few times with getting back with me in a timely manner but when we had a problem they were very quick to address and aid. The view from the front of the house was stunningly beautiful. The location was a short drive into everything youd want in Estes Park, but also just far enough from town where you arent in the middle of everything happening. We even had a small herd of deer graze in the front yard while we were using the hot tub. The only hiccup was upon arrival our door code didnt work. However, we called the number provided and the issue was solved in a matter of seconds. That actually left me more impressed since their ability to fix an issue was so swift. This house exceeded our expectations in terms of the view, the space and the quick and pleasant responses we received from Sky Run when we had questions about our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a mini kitchen downstairs on the first floor with a full size fridge and freezer. Not only were there plenty of dishes, pots, pans and glassware but there was also two crockpots which came in handy. Cons: Like other reviews had mentioned, there is an unpleasant pungent smell located downstairs each time you walk into the house. Hopefully they get this assessed because I worry what is causing that smell. Although the view is breathtaking, it was EXTREMELY hot on the second and third floors. We kept the shades down most of the day (and had fans blasting) but it was still unbearable. With that being said, we had a memorable stay and truly enjoyed the property. Close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, it is in a convenient location. The house was clean and comfortable with anything we needed for cooking. It is a little outside of town but not too far from great hiking trails within and outside of RMNP. The view from the porch is outstanding and there is random wildlife including deer, humming birds, and chipmunks that came to visit. We had originally planned a stay in Grand Lake, but that was derailed when there was a large wildfire upon our arrival there. We were scrambling to find another plan and SkyRun was so responsive to our request to book and got us in the same day. The house was in a beautiful, quiet location. The house itself is even better than the photos on AirBnb and we had a lot of fun playing foosball and hanging out on the large deck. Our contact during our stay was very quick at responding to any questions we had, the house was spotless, and the directions for how to get to the home as well as access information included everything we needed and more.
