I know sofa beds arent ever very comfy but the sofa bed did not flatten out completely. So it always was at a certain angle. So when laying on it your feet were higher than your head not by much but enough to make it feel weird and not right. Husband tried to readjust and fix it but we were not able to. If you happen to get there as snow/ ice or ice comes, you are on your own. We had trouble getting up the hill as did others who slid into our car. We were told they only plow if 4 inches. It was 3 with ice underneath. Ice and snow packed on stairs. Snow shovel Provided! If we hadnt had snow shoes I wouldnt have made it in the first night. Host's response: Terri - Estes Park is a mountain town and this is winter. Vehicles need to be all wheel drive with good tires. We have no legal right to plow the parking lot or even drop sand or ice melt - it is owned by the HOA - We complain and let them know but they don't seem to do a lot to remedy the situation. Plus the WIND up here in ESTES is the best kept secret - so drifts/ice can make it difficult to get around. We will continue to work with the HOA to find a better way to get this issue taken care of. Stayed Mar, 2022 Great condo! (Hard to find in complex at night) I had a wonderful stay, the condo was lovely. Very comfortable and well appointed, with a beautiful view out the front window. The fireplaces were especially cozy in cold weather. My only suggestion is better directions to find the unit within the complex. I arrived at night, to a maze of condo buildings with random numbering, and the numbers were hard to see at night. I eventually had to call the after-hours number for help. Although it snowed and we couldn't do anything, we still had a great time. I would highly recommend it. Will definitely return.The only downfall was carrying all of our stuff up the stairs. The condo was very comfortable and clean. The bath tub was nice and had plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the bedroom fireplace. Kitchen was well equipped and has two small refrigerators. The view was nice. We saw a huge herd of deer outside one morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Downside: You are very close to neighbors and have no privacy on the deck or with windows open. There are several stairs to get to the front door. It was hard for us to find and is located on a pretty steep hill so make sure to have snow tires or AWD in the winter. We got stuck on the hill and ended up parking in a lower parking lot and walking up the hill to the condo. We could hear the upstairs neighbors walking around a lot so if you dont sleep with noise it could be a problem. Host's response: Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, several of the outlets are loose (i.e. if I tried to plug anything in, it would fall out) and some of the windows were tricky to open (it seemed like the cranks were stripped and wouldn't open the window). Be sure to review the map of the area that they include in a prior email -- it is very tricky to figure out where you're located if you arrive at midnight, in the dark, in a mini snowstorm, haha!They do have a coffee machine (drip) with plenty of filters. I didn't see anything about that in a prior review or in the info so we ended up buying one on our way in but they did have one so that was great!Communication with the owner was a bit slow, but we did eventually get responses to most of our questions. It was clean and well furnished. Would highly recommended. My only suggestion would be add to some kind of lightning for the steps leading from parking area to rooms. Fully equipped kitchen...even a waffle maker which was a bonus! Could use a few more blankets and the front room is tight but we knew that in advance from the pictures online. We contacted them for another blanket and they dropped one off for us quickly. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus for our kids to use. Our unit had a good patio space with a large table and 4 chairs which was used daily for coffee in the morning while looking at the mountains. Liz C. This is especially important if you are arriving after dark. We arrived at 10pm and struggled to find unit 28B. You can't see the numbers from your car and the buildings are not in numerical order. We called the after-hours phone number and thankfully someone answered who helped us find the condo. The living space is a little small but we didn't mind as the couch folded up/down and there were two full bathrooms to use. Not as clean as I would have liked. The heat was on, and it took awhile to figure out how to get it turned off. So it was really hot in there for a few hours. I wanted to check in early, but that was not allowed. I understand the rules, but no one was in the unit and it had been cleaned long before I got there. Nice area, good community. Host's response: We are careful to follow CDC guidelines on cleaning our properties. It takes longer but the health of our workers and guest are very important to us.
