Family Time

Perfect place for our multigenerational family gathering. Home was fantastic, plenty of space for all. College kids enjoyed the hot tub, we all loved hiking in RMNP and the fabulous local restaurants. We were aware of having only starter supplies but with the price point of this rental more would have been appreciated. Have a rental myself and would never not have adequate essentials available. Definitely recommend Eldondale.

Great home for a large group & really enjoyed the view, layout & location close to the downtown Estes Park area. The check in was tricky being that the code didnt work but we did have service and they were able to communicate quickly to get someone out to unlock the property. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Everything was amazing and exactly as described/pictured! The home itself was very clean, well kept, and had plenty of towels for showering and hot tub use. The views are spectacular and the abundance of wildlife (elk, deer, ground squirrels) made for entertaining nights in the hot tub. We had a little hiccup at check-in after hours and the host answered immediately and walked us through getting into the property. She was very kind and prompt, answering our call right away.Thank you again!

This is a wonderful home for families. There was plenty of space to relax and enjoy one anothers company. There is also space to have privacy and quiet time. We cooked and grilled several meals. The kitchen was well appointed. We will definitely stay here again when in Estes Park.

Mountain paradise

Beautiful home with the most magnificent views. All the amenities you need and more. Short drive to town. Hot tub views are incredible and perfect retreat after hiking all day. Feels like you’re in a mountain lodge(because you are). Will definitely be back. Very luxurious mountain vibe.

Just ~5 min up the road from Estes. Super clean, inviting, homey place. Was a nice place to get away with the wife, but had plenty of room for a multi-family trip as well. My only complaint is the driveway is a little bit subtle. We will stay again whenever were up that way!

If I'm wrong about the garage code not being sent, and it actually was sent to us, I'll gladly revise this review and rate this place 100% on every aspect except the following: The rep on the phone gave the garage code when we called, but she was more interested in insisting the code was sent to us already. This was the worst moment of an otherwise impeccable stay. Even if they sent the code, she would benefit from some customer service training.

Review

We were here for a family trip with 7 people. Overall it was a beautiful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful, and we loved the views! I could just sit there and look out all day. House was very clean, had everything we needed. Plenty of beds. The only cons were that we had some issues with the hot water heater. No hot water. I messaged the hosts. They were not very responsive to messages, but did immediately respond to calls. They sent out someone to fix it, and we were told the water heater short circuits, so we would have to keep flipping a switch off and back on. It did heat it back up pretty instantly but was annoying to have to keep flipping the switch throughout the day with seven people needing to shower. Other than that I would 100% stay here again, it was an unforgettable trip!

Pros: The house is stunning. In a great location close to town. House is fully equipped. The views are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortably fit 10 people. Cons: On a main road so you hear a lot of traffic. We had issues with hot water. At the price point I paid, to have girls washing their hair in sinks or using a baby wipe to clean their body because the hot water wasnt working was very disappointing. I will say when we reached out they sent someone over immediately to fix it. They were extremely strict on check in time and you couldnt even sit in your car on the property a minute before check in. The house was incredible. Wasnt crazy about the management company.

With no complaints prior to or after. We have to be strict on our check in times - because by the time someone checks out at 10 a.m. and someone checks in at 4 - this is a HUGE HOUSE - which takes a long time to clean properly then SkyRun doesn't just stop there we also send in an inspector to make sure that housekeeping didn't miss anything and then there is also maintenance that goes in to do any last minute tweeks - if we had guests sitting and waiting at all of our properties - the housekeepers feel rushed and they may miss some things. We have very high standards at SkyRun Estes Park and that's why we have things timed the way we do.

Amazing house

The house was brand new, clean, and exceptional. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to enjoy an escape from reality. Location is very close to downtown Estes Park and several trail heads directly across the street. Rocky Mountain National Park was 10 minutes away. We had a minor house issue which was addressed quickly.

Amazing cabin! Sky Run property management not so amazing.

The place is amazing and we had a wonderful stay but there were some issues with property managers. Hot tub was cloudy and when you turn on jets there was 6+ inches of nasty foam. I informed SkyRun. They sent maintenance out and said it was clean enough. I would never let people in my hot tub at home if it was that dirty. Then hot water heater pilot light went out and there was a loud beeping coming from locked room all night. Called 24 emergency # and no response. Called corporate offices and even tried social media to get in touch with someone. They finally called me back around noon and sent someone out. I think we had hot water back around 4PM. Even with the SkyRun problems this place is magical and we had a great time.

Brandon - We never said the hot tub was "good enough" - you never said there was an issue with the jets on - We offered to Dump the Tub and put in new water but you refused saying that you wouldn't be able to use it for 2 days - Not true - we dump tubs in the morning and by evening they are good to go. We had our Maintenance supervisor come out - we took pictures of a clean hot tub & filter we also took water samples - which also came back clean, which pictures were taken of that as well. The Beeping sound was addressed as soon as we got the message. The owner is fixing that boiler issue on his next visit. Thank you.

Eldondale

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful home. The sun was brutal coming in the west windows . You need some blinds on those windows. It hinders being in the kitchen and at the dining table in the afternoon till dusk. Also some of the beds were not comfortable. The bed in master bedroom was way too high. It was not easy for seniors to get on. Do you guys have to use the cheapest paper products?People that can afford to rent this home deserve better. A chair is needed in the master bedroom. Everything else was perfect !

Amazing Views

My family absolutely loved Eldondale! Gorgeous views and abundance of wildlife. Just a quick 5 min drive on paved roads from town and all of the activities in Estes Park. Only downfall is there is a little bit of road noise during the day. Don't let that steer you away from enjoying the spectacular views from the porch of Eldondale.

Memories Made

Incredible property with an amazing view of the mountains. Overall, we had an absolutely lovely stay and made many, many memories. There are a few recommendations to make the property a little more accommodating. We had 8 in our party and could only seat 6 in the living room, which left 2 people without a place to sit. There is plenty of space for a sectional to fit 12+. Also the current furniture is very unstable and every time reclined, felt like you were launching out of the seat. In addition, there needs to be better signage at the road indicating the entrance to the property. Coming from Estes Park there is a hill and a curve which can be quite dangerous when youre not certain where to turn. We passed the property up and had to turn around the first time we drove by and had to look closely every time thereafter or we would pass it up. Finally, there was no dresser in the master bedroom to unpack our suitcases so we had to live out of our suitcases for our entire stay. Other than those things, Eldondale is a wonderful place and we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place, great location if you are heading to RMNP. We stayed with a few families with toddlers and it worked out well. (Be aware if you are bringing young children, there are unlocked chemicals under the coffee area.) Really nice hot tub, kitchen, and shared spaces. The management company did a really great job fixing a minor issue when were we there almost immediately after we called.

Unbelievable Experience

Our stay at Eldondale was beyond amazing. We arrived at night, so didn't see the view until early the next day. I was speechless, and all I could think of was, "purple mountains majesty!" The home is well laid out and beautifully appointed, but the views and the proximity to Estes Park are fantastic. We loved it so much that a few days of our trip even the kids wanted to stay at home just so we could enjoy the place. The folks at SkyRun were amazing as well. They took such good care of us before and during our stay making sure everything was ready for us. They have a great staff and have all the answers. We even had a dental emergency and they helped us find a dentist who got us fixed up in just a couple of hours. 5 stars just isn't enough!!

Perfect!

My family rented this property for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The house is beautiful and very clean, the view is stunning, and the location is great. Cozy Cabin in the Woods

This BEAUTIFUL cabin in the woods was perfect for our girls weekend. The house was gorgeous and was equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. The cabin was very spacious for our party of 8. The property felt very remote but was in close proximity to the Stanley Hotel and other attractions to keep us busy. The views of the mountains were spectacular. Overall, would highly recommend this property.

Great house with an incredible view. We had 9 adults staying for the Stanley Hotel Halloween ball. Plenty of space and beds for all. We would definitely stay again. One small downside is that its 4 mikes from town, which is t bad but finding any sort of transportation can be difficult. Definitely it the fault of the owners but keep that in mind.

The house is everything the photos show. It is spacious and the view is drop dead gorgeous. The main living room was near a big window that I could just sit and read a book and drink my morning coffee while staring out at the mountains. It is near the main road so you do here a lot of traffic noise from the porch areas but I think you would find that anywhere you stay in Colorado. House was in a good location and it was easy to get to the places we wanted to go each day.

Modern rustic with stunning views

Beautiful home with rustic charm. Absolutely stunning views. All the accommodations you would ever need. Brand new home. Super clean, and just perfect. Close to town. Morning coffee in the hot tub with spectacular views is how I loved starting every day. Owner and management have great communication at all times.
