And put the other one in the town's parking structure. not very clear. Pleasantly surprised by the huge king bed and en suite downstairs, large kitchen, and inviting living room with window views of the mountains. Lots of wildlife nearby; we were greeted multiple times by the elk and mule deer in the backyard. Very close to the downtown strip to walk around shops and restaurants. Also, getting into Rocky Mountain NP from this location was a breeze. Check-out was early and prompt at 10am; we had left a jacket in our place but the management was super kind to unlock the door for us again to get back inside. All in, would stay again and recommend! I did not have a chance to go to Rocky National Park, but it is only a few mins drive. Grocery store is a 7 min drive, along with surrounding local restaurants/shops. We also had neighbors come and go, and no one was loud at any point. Everyone was very respectful of that. Plenty of room for a family of 6. Will repeat when it gets warmer outside. The keypad sometimes glitched and wouldnt work with the code. It sounded like it got stuck. But eventually it worked. The mattresses could be a bit more comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and dishes, to the degree that we were able to cook everything we typically do for Thanksgiving. Instructions said no cable, only streaming services but much to our surprise there was a full selection of cable channels to select from. Only comment was with regard to the door keypad. We were locked out once because it would not operate. Local staff responded quickly and replaced battery. It still continued to be wonky, making odd noises at random times, plus it took a while to lock on checkout. Otherwise we would definitely return next time we come to Estes Park. Izzy Stayed Sep, 2023 Great Stay If you plan on spending time in RMNP this is your rental. Great place, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. I actually thought the home was nicer than the pictures. A quick 5–10-minute drive to the main entrance of the park and a 5-minute drive to downtown Estes Park. Safeway in town had everything we needed and was a quick 10-minute drive. If I had to mention a negative it would be that the deck faced a road. Not a lot of cars driving by and not an impact on my 5-star recommendation. I'd recommend dinner at Bird and Jim in Estes Park just down the Road from the home. It was a 1.5 hr. drive from Denver airport with beautiful scenery and about 30 minutes to Boulder. We spent most of our time in RMNP which is stunning with endless beautiful scenery and hikes. Did spend a day in Boulder, hiked in Chautauqua Trailhead and had lunch at The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, both highly recommended. I'd highly recommend Hawkeye Ridge. Loved everything about it. It was very well stocked with everything you need, like home. A herd of elk passed through the backyard! Unfortunately the dryer didnt work, had to hang all our laundry to dry on the rack and cleared closet space. SkyRun sent someone over to check it, but they had to call a repairman. Carolyn Stayed Aug, 2022 Review We really enjoyed our stay here! The quick access to RMNP was a huge benefit. The location, while close to RMNP entrance, does put it on a somewhat busy road. So if you're ok sitting on the deck as cars and trucks go by, it'll be fine.The place was generally pretty clean and well taken care of. We did find chunks of dried play dough underneath the chairs in the living room that could have been cleaned better. There was some sand/rocks in the entrance that also could have been cleaned. Master bed/bath was lovely. Washer/dryer is on the smaller side, just fyi. Two laundry detergent pods were supplied, so bring your own detergent if you anticipate doing more laundry. Appreciated the toiletries, extra towels, blankets. The wall thermostats emit a bright light at night, so if that bothers you, try covering up with a towel??The beds/mattresses in the 'bunk bed room' were a little less comfortable. If you have kids, they might not notice. The freezer drawer needed a major defrost if that is possible. Lots of ice buildup that would scrape off every time you opened it and make a mess on the floor. The kitchen is equipped with almost every gadget/tool you can think of! (blender, griddle pan, bowls of every size) Wish there was a better nonstick pan option for cooking eggs though. There is a wall A/C unit located in the living area. It was confusing to operate, so you may need to research directions or hope that the property managers provide some sort of quick start manual.Overall we enjoyed our stay! Stayed Aug, 2022 Great stay! We had a great stay at Hawkeye Ridge! This was probably one of the most well equipped rentals we have stayed in. The kitchen had EVERYTHING - even utensils and dishes for babies/toddlers! We found that one of the box fans didn't work upon arrival. I texted SkyRun and within 30 minutes a new one was at our door. I found SkyRun to be extremely responsive. The unit was clean and modern and had everything we needed. Looking forward to returning in the future! The house is a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures but still has plenty of room for everyone. We loved the bunk room for our teens and having a bedroom on the ground floor for my parents was ideal. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family and the gas grill out on the great deck was a nice touch. Katie Stayed Feb, 2022 Review It's not often you get a rental with such nice furniture, particularly in the bedrooms and kitchen table! The beds we slept in were comfortable. It should be noted the full size bed on the bottom of one bunk is a futon. A child probably won't mind it. The place was very clean and seemed new. The location was awesome. If we had bikes, we could have biked downtown. The town's best restaurant, Bird & Jim, is a 1-min drive away. But remote feeling enough that road noise wasn't an issue. A huge herd of elk wandered through the backyard to the field across the way one evening. We liked it so much, we'd choose it again for our next stay! You were quick to get us niche Comforters and that was wonderful. We had a great time in this townhouse. There was more than enough room for our family of 7. We had a deer stay outside our back door every day so that was wonderful for all of us. The location was only 5 minutes from the shops too. We would stay here again. While the location is on a busy highway, the traffic never bothered us--even while we were enjoying time on the deck. "Traffic" that was enjoyable was the elk parade past the property the first few evenings we were there. We also saw deer and turkeys on the property and were serenaded each morning by the rooster nearby (not loudly). The location was great--a quick drive to the small grocery down the hill and to the entrance to the park. Some of the furnishings are showing a little wear and tear since the pictures were taken, but everything was very comfortable. While the property can accommodate eight, seating in the family room will not without using dining room chairs. A few little issues we noticed were brought to the attention of the property manager, but they were nothing that spoiled our visit. I would not hesitate to stay at Hawkeye Ridge again. Stayed Aug, 2021 Beautiful new property with plenty of room! Our family (in laws, husband, myself, and our 3 kids) stayed for 6 nights in this beautiful property. It appears to be very new, incredibly clean, and beautifully furnished. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us, and the kids absolutely loved the bonus playroom in their bedroom! That was an amazing surprise for us all and was a favorite place for our 4 year old to play. The bedrooms all had nice, spacious closets with fans supplied in the upstairs bedrooms to help keep it comfortable. The cooling systems in the house (different ones upstairs and downstairs) are not ones we are familiar with, but did a great job of cooling down the house after we arrived and keeping it comfortable. Beautiful kitchen and large table where we could all eat together! The deck was nice to sit on outside with comfy furniture, but be aware it does face the road so is not quiet. That is the only downfall of the house and wasnt a big deal for us. The upstairs bathtub was clogged the first night we arrived, but I immediately contacted them and they had someone out first thing the next morning to fix it! The dryer was also broken during our visit, but they contacted me several days prior to our arrival to let me know which I greatly appreciated. There was a drying rack in the garage I was able to use for some of our laundry I had to wash or there are laundromats in town. Im pretty picky and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door. There are 4 houses on the property. Two on one side of the driveway and two on the other. Yet, it was quiet and peaceful area and we never even saw or heard any neighbors. The house even smells brand new and was very clean and well thought out. Beds were comfortable and my boys not only loved the bunk beds, but also the surprise hidden play room. We were on a cross country road trip and had stayed in 5 other Airbnbs on our trip and this was was at the top of the list! You are super close to Rocky Mountain NP and the downtown area with restaurants and shopping. There is a ductless A/C unit in the living room which was really lovely to have. Upstairs there isnt an official A/C unit, but they did have a portable unit in the bunk bed room that kept everyone cool upstairs! There are extra fans as well to keep us extra comfortable! The large dining room table was perfect for our 1000 piece puzzle while we watched a movie on the living room TV. If we were to ever come back, wed definitely stay here again! This was our family's first trip to Estes Park and it couldn't have been better! Hawkeye Ridge was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Plenty of towels (our family of four didn't need to wash towels once), soap, and lotion (for the dry mountain air). Even had a starter package of laundry and dish soap! We liked the large kitchen table for the four of us to sit and eat while spreading out maps of the park to plan our hikes. I liked the comfy king bed in the downstairs master, and the kids liked the fun bunk beds upstairs to play on (plus a "secret" play room!). Sunrise out the back patio every morning over our coffee and breakfast was wonderful. It was nice having a comfortable home base to plan our hikes from with the little kids. (Advice: if you have a little one, rent a backpack carrier from the Mountain Shop near Lake Estes; our 2yo loved his!). We can't wait to stay here again. Easy, clean, and gorgeous. Thank you! Stayed Aug, 2020 Rocky Mountain Trip This town home is almost brand new and is one of 4 likely rental town homes managed by the same company. It is very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Location is perfect. Our living room window faces the road with not much of a view. The house is clean and pleasant. The washer and dryer are compact and in the master bedroom closet. Dryer doesn't work well. The sound insulation of upstairs is poor. When someone is taking a shower in the upstairs bathroom, the sound is almost amplified. But other than that we are pretty happy with our stay. It is two minutes drive to Bird and Jim (a great place to have dinner) and a little grocery - very handy. The iceing on top is staying at a fabulous property which one can best describe at HOME AWAY FROM HOME fully furnished and equipped with top quility items.
