About the Ranch The land on which Crocker Ranch sits was originally settled by R.E. Stuyvesant in 1872. The land was subsequently purchased by the ranch’s namesake, Frank Crocker who made this his summer home until his death in 1932. Situated in the valley below Mount Olympus and Park Hill, the Coach House was the last stagecoach stop on the toll road built by Alexander MacGregor into the Estes Valley. Traces of this road are still visible on the ranch today. A beautiful stop along a bumpy dirt road, a difficult ride without the luxury of modern transportation. Each guest becomes a part of the story of Crocker Ranch. From the travelers who made this their last stagecoach stop on a long arduous ride to Estes Park, to the cowboys who have herded cattle on these pastures, to those of you who choose to make your family memories in this home. SkyRun Vacation rentals and the family who owns this ranch, welcome you to experience the Colorado we love, wide open, authentic and unforgettable. As with any amazing experience, you want the something to remember it by. The best remembrance is not something that will be tucked away in a box but something you can enjoy with your family at a summer picnic or a family dinner. Crocker Ranch Beef is just that type of remembrance. Crocker Ranch Beef can be purchased by ordering it from the man who tends the cattle. We are not able to include a web address or phone number in this listing but a little research for Crocker Ranch Estes Park will get you the information you need. Host's response: Tyler yes Crocker Ranch is a great place to stay in Estes Park - the history is amazing. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at this great location. Cathy Stayed Aug, 2024 Crocker Ranch was Amazing! The Ranch was amazing and to be a part of history on the stagecoach line will not be soon forgotten. I was a little disappointed with the care of the house: The kitchen was lacking serving bowls and storage containers, but the basics were available, many light bulbs were burned out, screens were broken on doors and unusable and the over all cleanliness was lacking a bit, however, none of these things overshadowed the peace and tranquility of our stay. We would definitely stay here again! Jean Stayed Jul, 2024 Review Spacious cabin for our multi-generation family. Beautiful, secluded location within minutes of Estes Park and RMNP. The interior has custom woodwork and nice furnishings. Host's response: We are glad you and your family enjoyed this beautiful home and the beautiful location! Charissa Stayed Jun, 2024 Review This beautiful cabin is part of a large private ranch and the rental cabin is managed by SkyRun! As far as rental management goes, this place is ran so incredibly well. Easy to get ahold of them, simple check in instructions, very friendly and highly accommodating. I happened to be able to meet the owner of the ranch and he was very friendly and welcoming! I mean, this place is beyond beautiful. Private. Clean. Spacious. And pet friendly which was a huge plus. Very close to downtown Estes. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. 10/10! Host's response: Thank you Charissa! This beautiful home is such a relaxing place to stay. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We would love to host you again. Lindsey Stayed Nov, 2023 Review Wonderful stay! The owner was super nice and we loved learning some of the history of the area. Would stay again. Host's response: The Coach House at Crocker Ranch really does have excellent views, and lots of open space. It's wonderful the owner was able to provide you with some of our Estes Park history, and hopefully how Crocker Ranch fits into that history. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay there. SkyRun Estes Park would love to host you again. Haley Stayed Sep, 2023 Review Really cool place to stay. Reminds me a bit of cabin in the woods but of course ended up being far less horror-movie-esque. Just a super nice stay and very accommodating. Had a baby and a toddler with us and they provided two pack n plays for our use. Host's response: Glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin in the woods! SkyRun Estes Park would love to host you again. Debra Stayed Sep, 2023 Peace & Tranquility Loved our stay at the Coach House on Crocker Ranch. Very peaceful location, huge kitchen to work in and lots of space for everyone to have their own. Not a lot of places to walk to as you are limited to where you can go on the ranch and a few dust bunnies under the beds but hey, I would go back if the opportunity arises. If you're looking for a quiet location, this is it! Gianna Stayed Jul, 2023 Review Great place for group weekend getaway. Extremely beautiful location. Host's response: Super great to hear Gianna! We are so content to know this property was perfect for you and your group getaway and that the location was wonderful, we look forward to hosting you again.
