It was a little tricky to find, but I had read that in other reviews, so I was prepared and did not arrive for check-in after dark. Stayed Dec, 2022 Mountain Cabin get away during seminars The property was great, over-all I loved the feel of the place. It had a nice location and many updated features. My wife enjoyed the limited time we spent there when we weren't at our seminars. It was cozy, and the owners were really easy to work with. I give this location a 4.8-star easy.That said, I would have given this a 5 out of 5 but two things were my pet peeves. I know I'm being nit-picky, but 5 stars mean perfect to me. This is a 4.8-room, which is still phenomenal, it's a great property. One thing was the TV cable box was just hanging behind the TV in full view by the coaxial cable (this looked tacky) and the remote wouldn't work well because it required a direct line of sight. A simple fix, buy a $15.00 shelf at Walmart and install it below the TV, it would fix the remote issues and look nicer. The only other thing that I was disappointed in was the pans available to cook with. My wife likes Eggs over easy and I'm a cook at heart, the pans were so old and damaged you could only make scrambled eggs because everything would stick. You can buy Sam's Club skillets for $18.00 they are great quality, easily replaced, and cheap. Both issues are extremely nitpicky, but attention to detail gets you a 5-star rating. The condo community has been quiet so you feel like the only people there both times.This unit has a very large bathroom with a massive jet tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple breakfasts each morning. I may not have read the property info well enough, but I was expecting a full size fridge. The fridge is dorm room size but still had room for what we needed.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will likely try to stay here the next time we visit Estes Park. When deciding to stay in Estes Park or Denver, Im super pleased we chose Estes Park. We were super lucky and had a snow storm come through over the weekend and our views were so beautiful!!!! This place a perfect one bedroom stay, it was incredibly clean, and the fireplace in the bedroom was a perfect addition to our cozy weekend. Condo was clean, comfortable, and cozy! Mini fridge was well big enough for to-go boxes and TONS of space for drinks. There werent any extra blankets and the bed had just a lightweight quilt, we asked for an extra and it was delivered quickly! Take blankets or ask for extra ahead of time if youre a cold sleeper. Fireplace was wonderful and gave good heat. It is slick on the stairs up if its been snowy, but they provide snow shovels and the walkways are well kept, just be mindful. Very cute sitting area on the deck, but it was close to the next unit where people were in their HotTub so it felt intrusive and we didnt use it much. Beautiful views of Estes. We enjoyed staying here, where we were within a few minutes, scenic drive, to Estes Park and other areas we wanted to visit. I do think the ad and photos are a bit misleading: parking is not guaranteed as there is no monitoring of the parking spaces to all of the condos and the photos are clearly taken to expand the appearance of the space. Kitchen amenities impressed me mostvery modern stove, solid kitchenware. Having a normal-sized, fully-functioning Dishwasher was great. Bathrooms tub was enjoyable for 2 people to enjoy together, plus it had jets!Was a little hard to find unit, but had success using provided map, in conjunction with (Hidden by Airbnb) maps satellite view. Wish bed was a little more modern but it was HUGE. Refrigerator was small, like you find in a hotel. Outdoor hot tubs stare you in face so if you dont have access to them (like we didnt), it will torture you!Saw elk walk INTO our backyard on our final morning so you really ARE surrounded by nature and wildlife, even in condo complex setting. Priscilla Stayed May, 2019 Review It was wonderful. Horsetooth was exactly was we needed when visiting Estes Park. It had a sink stope top, microwave, mini fridge, dishwasher, cooking utensils, and basic cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, oil, spices). Dishes, glasses, forks, knife set, and spoon were also available. Coffee maker, and mug were also there. There was also soap for dishes and the dishwasher. Paper towels and dish sponge. The fire place in the bedroom puts off a lot of heat which was nice to have after hiking in the snow, though the timer clicking is loud and a bit distracting. We couldnt get the tv in the bedroom to work. Which for me is fine, but future guess may care. The remote for the living room tv has to be pointed in a specific way to make it work (straight from the left side). It took us a while to figure out how to make it work. The dishwasher is loud to run at night, so set a start delay to run while youre out. I recommend washing glassware by hand because we broke a glass tumbler the first time we ran the dishwasher. The place was impeccably clean when we cached out and was easy to keep clean during our visit. Parking when it got busy was difficult. We had to park in another driveway on our last night. I really loved staying in Horsetooth. It was a our little home during our stay and I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again given the chance. Host's response: Thank you for your feedback, Patricia. Stayed May, 2019 Charming and Relaxing. Close to Everything. Nice little place with all the extras you need. We liked that it is away from major traffic which makes this place quiet and relaxing. Management was quick to respond to our questions and they even offered to extend or stay. We had so much fun in Estes Park that we didn't want to leave! Having a place that had most of the comforts of home (stove, microwave, fridge, crockpot, jetted tub and etc) certainly made our stay more enjoyable after a day of fun and adventure.
