Location of this property was close to all attractions. It was clean and well stocked. I would recommend putting a couple of chairs on the deck off basement level so the views can be enjoyed without having to go up. However the owner needs to do some faucet and drain repairs in the bathroom on the main level. Hot side of the bathroom faucet will stay on if it is turned to off . it has no stop and may continue running if turned to far. also, the stopper drain doesn't work properly. this could be very destructive if people check out and the water keeps running and the drain "falls" closed. We stayed in unit 39 the first time and this time in unit 38. This place exceeds all expectations. Cleanliness, staff availability for community concerns(wildfires were raging during our stay and SkyRun made sure to keep us updated with the latest information), amenities, and overall experience. I HIGHLY recommend this community for your vacation needs. It is my wish to make this a yearly visit and will forever choose SkyRun for my lodging. Had a little trouble finding the place, though we arrived late in the evening and it was very dark. Initially our code for the door did not work, but we called and someone got us in right away. Very accommodating and beautiful place to stay. Thank you so much!! A lovely location and very quiet. We enjoyed the nice deck for breakfast and morning coffee. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. We wanted to cook more but the pans were very scratched and we chose not to use them. Has to leave in a rush because a storm was coming and they weren't going to let us stay longer because they were clearing out all condos due to Covid-19. Susannah Stayed Mar, 2020 Review This condo was ideal for our last minute getaway. The views were outstanding, the house spacious and comfortable, and the hikes nearby are longtime favorites. We comfortably cooked our meals here, our young kids enjoyed coloring at the kitchen table, we went for lovely walks every day, and the gas fireplace helped create a conveniently hygge atmosphere. We were married at nearby Lily Lake and had our reception at Mary's Lake Lodge 13 years ago and love going back every year. Host's response: Thank you, Susannah! Stayed Feb, 2020 Very Nice Accommodation All was very nice except the following:- Master bed was very worn and often uncomfortable. Not too bad if we slept in the trenches.- After hours support is emergency only. Fun in Estes Park We had a great time staying in this condo in Estes Park, even with the cold temps! We walked around the shops downtown and hiked a bit in Rocky Mountain National Park. Located away from the shopping but it was worth it. Only a few minutes drive to all the action. My kids absolutely loved it as well. Will always stay here when going to Estes. Kathleen Stayed Nov, 2019 Review This unit is AMAZING. I cook all our meals when we travel and this is the best stocked kitchen I've ever encountered in a rental. Our kid loved the sled, and we all enjoyed the 42(!) elk who showed up out back most afternoons. Fantastic location, exactly as pictured. Stayed Sep, 2019 St Mary lake - unit 38 Beautiful view- many amenities missing, such as 2nd blanket, hair conditioner, extra tp. Much smaller living room/kitchen than the pictures showed. Stayed Aug, 2019 Great location, awesome view! Pool is very close with easy access. We had a great time at The Peaks. This property was convenient to town and the Rocky Mountains. The pool is heated and makes for good entertainment. The views are amazing, we had elk travel through the yard which was awesome! The property was clean and easy to access, no difficulty with checking in or out. I am rating it overall 4 stars because the mattresses desperately need replaced-they are very hard. We were able to add a foam mattress pad found in the closet on the queen bed on the main level, but it was for a full size bed (possibly for the pull out couch mattress that is also very hard with metal springs) so we were unable to sleep with two people in the queen bed due to comfort and my husband and I took turns sleeping on the couch. Overall a great experience, just wish we had more comfortable sleeping arrangements. I would also recommend adding a pull out bed to the downstairs master for small children as there is plenty of room. Host's response: Thank you, Alexis! We ate breakfast and supper on the deck with at stunning view of the mountains and Marys Lake. The A/C was much appreciated during the days when the temps reached in the upper 90s. The living areas were very comfortably furnished for evening relaxing and tv after trail running and rock climbing all day. Thank you for sharing your condo! Stayed Jun, 2019 Vacation in Estes Park We especially loved the deck and the gorgeous, beyond words, view! It was so nice and cool. We spent a lot of time out there. The cleanliness of the property was amazing. Furnishing and dcor was pleasant. Tosha Stayed Jan, 2019 Review Our family loved bringing in the new year in this place. Amazing views, so much space and just a quick car ride to town and the Rocky Mountain National park. I highly recommend going to both and to check out the huge sledding areas near the YMCA. Our place had a sled in the closet which was great for our kiddo. We bought groceries and cooked the entire trip because the kitchen was great. Then we ate at You Need Pie (it was recommended) and it did not disappoint. Perfect for a winter getaway.
