Hot tub was set at 104-105 and we could not change it (controls locked out). We missed in the description that there was not access to a washer and dryer. Some basic amenities like salt and sugar not present. We had two issues that we texted about. The communication was delayed for over 12 hours. One was a potential safety issue with someone showing up to repair the door lock without notice and the lock was working fine. Host's response: Thank you for you review. The hot tub is set at 104 per manufacturer recommendation. If a guest leaves food items such as salt and sugar, they are not thrown out but left for the next guests. SkyRun provides a starter kit of paper goods and soaps such as dish soap and shampoo. Our maintenance tech came to the home to change low batteries in the door lock. The lock continues to work until the batteries are dead. He was to wait until your departure the next day. If you felt this was a safety concern it would have been best if you had called immediately rather than waiting until several hours later to send a text message late in the evening. Arrival instructions as well as the door code text you received state that messages to not come to the on call phone after hours, you must call. Comfortable beds, AMAZING view, SUPER clean unit, wonderful and CLEAN hot tub and jetted master tub and a very quick 5-7 min drive to downtown Estes Park. Also a nature lover's dream because of the wildlife, landscape and day trips to lakes, woods, etc. When Sky Run says you have everything you need, they weren't kidding. They have a stack washer and dryer (and even provided two washer tabs for a couple of loads). Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups and bowls, casserole dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc and even some spices. (Just check what they have first before you go shopping.) They provided 2 rolls of paper towels, 4 rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap...everything you'd need for your stay! Nice touches by the cleaning crew, too! (Much appreciated!) Don't hesitate to book this unit! My friend and I both said we will book it again when we come back! If I had to list one con - the unit is a little outdated, BUT, there are enough nice touches that you don't really notice what isn't newer. (Honestly, Sky Run - lose all the fake greenery inside. We saw an elk herd and a mule deer doe with twin fawns from our balcony. The kids enjoyed the pool. The grownups enjoyed the hot tub. It is very close to 2 RMNP park entrances. We easily made it to prime sunrise viewing in the park in less than 30 minutes (watching for elk in the dark of night). We will stay here again without a doubt! However, for the price, there need to be several important tweaks made. First of all, if you have more than four guests staying and are using the fold-out couch, there are no blinds or drapes for the windows and the sun rises at the main window where it is, so that was a challenge, even with night shades. The toilet paper at Denver Airport is nicer than the toilet paper given to us here. In fact, be sure to pack your own as you are only given a "starter pack." Both televisions could use a hard upgrade. They are about as small as the palm of a big bear's paw and one of the remotes flat-out didn't work. My mom stayed in while we went rafting (total blast!) and was stuck with the outdated television without a proper remote control. Lastly, the showers look great but they have cheap showerheads that don't spray a lot of water, so you have to hold your head a certain way and it's not comfortable. Overall, beautiful place but once again, people are taking advantage of their beauty and not investing on simple creature comforts, starting with simple toilet paper. Donnie & Erica Stayed Dec, 2021 Perfect wedding stay We rented this apartment for 10 days when we got married in Estes Park. The place was absolutely perfect with beautiful views! It had a hot tub on the deck which we did not use, but the jacuzzi tub in the master bath was perfect for warming up and relaxing after being out in the Colorado winter weather. The kitchen had everything we needed and we ended up stocking up on food before heading into town and ate in the apartment quite a few times so we weren’t always eating out. It did get extremely windy a few days while we were there, but it stayed nice and cozy in the apartment. The gas fireplace got used everyday we were there since it’s easy to turn on with the flip of a switch. We even used the washer and dryer to wash clothes so that was one less thing to do when we got home. We usually come in the summer and camp at the Mary’s Lake Campground but tent camping wasn’t an option this time in the winter, and this was the perfect place to stay and we could still see Mary’s Lake from our window. We even had a herd of Elk that hung around in a grassy area straight out from the living room window! We will definitely be coming back to stay here again! Jennifer Stayed Aug, 2021 Review We rented this condo unit for a week's stay with family who were visiting and staying in another rental nearby. We had a wonderful time! Our daughter happens to be a wheelchair user and we loved being able to roll her from the handicapped parking spot just outside along the wood ramp/path and into the unit. The accessibility was great! The hot tub was amazing at night, the view of the stars is just beautiful. The views during the day are also just truly beautiful and so peaceful. We stayed in the smaller bedroom of the two and our daughter stayed in the larger, more spacious bedroom with the bigger bathroom. The larger bathroom is very spacious. We would love to see the jacuzzi tub replaced with a step free, roll-in shower for wheelchair accessibility -- that would have made it just absolutely perfect! The kitchen was quite nice for preparing meals. It has a nice sized fridge/freezer, a small oven, dishwasher, and a roll-up sink (for wheelchair access) with a table for sitting down for meals. We spent an afternoon at the pool and it was just wonderful. We loved that we could roll our daughter into the pool area (there's a set of stairs on one side, but around the other side, it's wheelchair accessible). The pool area is quite pretty with beautiful flowers around the pool. It was really quite lovely and we especially enjoyed it. The location of the condo is great. We were able to easily drive to the nearby, surrounding visitor / tourist spots and it was a super easy drive. A couple things like the living room rug and the bedroom blinds could use a little sprucing up or replacing/repairing, but this was minor. Everything was clean and well kept. I believe a previous visitor mention issues with the hot water. Id like to point out that while using the master shower, the hot water from the instant hot water heater would not kick on and stay on. To combat this, I had to turn on the faucet for the bathtub hot water at the same time so the flow rate was high enough for the water heater to kick on. My only other gripe was the TVs. Very dated. We brought a Firestick with to watch some shows before bed and the TVs are so old they didnt have any HDMI ports. No biggie. Something to consider updating in the future. Other than the minor annoyances with the hot water and the dated TVs we were extremely happy with our stay. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again. Alissa Stayed Mar, 2021 Review I would 110% stay here again! We saw the most amazing stars from the hot tub, and the short drive into town or into the mountains made this place an absolute gem! You can expect a few quirks, some of the lights didnt quite work and the master shower took a bit of time to heat up properly. The bed slept pretty hot in our opinion and the parking lot lights are a bit bright coming through the blinds in both bedrooms. Despite those few things my husband and I would absolutely stay again. They also rented us a pack n play and high chair for a cheap $15 a night, making this great for adults and infants alike! The kitchen was great also and well stocked for any cooking or baking you may want to do. 5 stars, you wont regret booking this place! Elizabeth Stayed Feb, 2021 Review the place is really nice, extremely clean and good view, i personally think it needs appliances update (specially the TV's, they are like the first generation of flat screes) the one in the master bedroom is very small and was not well installed. the master shower is a bit annoying to work with, is either REALLY HOT or freezing cold. other than that, is very pleasant. The views when you walk in take your breath away and you feel lucky to have such a great place for your trip. I loved how stocked the kitchen was and they even had seasonings which most places don't. The location was great and downtown Estes Park is really nice, if you wanted to go other places the drive was not bad and again the scenery is amazing!! We saw deer & Elk! The private hot tub was definitely a plus and the kitchen was nicely laid out, especially since we ended up cooking for all of our meals - it has a decent number of pots and pans, and even some spices. We enjoyed the views and the hot tub every day. The beds werent the most comfortable and I would suggest bringing your own shampoo/conditioner. The second bedroom is also a little tight for a couple, but we made it work for our short stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and will be back to Estes Park! Things we loved: the Sky Pond trail in RMNP, Rock Cut Brewing, Claires for brunch and Dunraven Inn for dinner. It was equipped with everything we needed to cook the meals we brought with us. The bathrooms were clean and supplied (we stayed for 8 days so we brought extra supplies). Beds were comfortable. The condo is spacious and furnished with everything you need. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and we didn't have any issues cooking family meals. The views from the condo are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fireplace and looking at the mountains. We rented this place based on its wheelchair accessibility and it was almost perfect. The master bed is a bit high and the second bedroom does not have room on the sides for the wheelchair. The shower in the master was a little difficult to moderate temp wise, so we used the 2nd bath to shower. The hot tub cover probably should be replaced or repaired. The unit was very clean and we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the quiet and privacy, except for the construction going on behind the property which begins early in the morning. Plenty space for 4 people. The surrounding view was excellent. We had capped off each night in the hot tub with a clear sky FULL of stars. Only draw back was trying to dial in the hot water. The shower head in the master suit isnt practical. Not enough water pressure and trying to get the right temperature was very difficult. The place was clean and tastefully decorated. Stayed Aug, 2019 Perfect for our stay Three night stay Fri-Mon. Nice accommodations, amenities, views and easy parking/access (no stairs). The TV did not work in the master bedroom. Maintenance came by and the management company sent a text stating that the internet box did not have a serial number on it so the internet company could not resolve remotely (a new box would have to be picked up after the weekend). Bummer for my brother who uses the TV to relax before falling asleep so he did not get to sleep easily any of the nights.The Community hot tub was not working so we decided against using the pool since we had planned on using both nightly.If the TV and the Community hot tub were working, we would have rated a solid 5; however, we still enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this property to others.
