We loved the neighbors bird feeders that drew many beautiful birds to their balcony for us to watch too. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. The home was clean, kitchen well supplied with pans/pots/utensils, beautiful view, comfortable beds, and the heated pool was a hit. We liked the locationclose enough to RMNP and Estes but not right in the middle of everything. The big windows face east providing a great view of the sunrise. Theres not much space in the living area for relaxing (a two person couch and one chair). The rain shower head downstairs in the primary bath was inconvenient and the jetted tub did not work well. We all just used the upstairs shower. The dining table is on carpet, so be aware if you have small kids. Overall the positives of the space outweigh the few inconveniences. The cleaning fee is cleaning and laundry and is based on the size of the home and time it takes to clean a 2 bedroom 2 bath home. This fee goes to the people who provide this service. If you consider the fact you would have had to rent two motel rooms to get two bedrooms and two bathrooms without a full kitchen and living room, the total cost is very reasonable. Plenty of towels provided and even shampoo etc which is rare for private rentals anymore. We loved the balcony and we even saw a herd of elk right outside one evening. The location is also ideal for getting to the park as you do not have to go through downtown. I would definitely choose this place again. The balcony has a great view for breakfast meals and the kitchen is fully equipped with essentials. One thing to note though, as stated in their post they are very strict with check-ins and check-outs. We tried to check in earlier but they werent able to accommodate. The fireplaces made for a nice and cozy setting when we got home from long snowshoeing hikes or after a delicious dinner at The Stanley Hotel.
