The condo itself is amazing. Very warm and welcoming and an amazing kitchen. The response time and communication with the Estes Sky Run team was excellent. My only complaint or suggestion would be that after being here three times, I can see that the pillows need replacing they’re hard and uncomfortable as is the couch. The couch is dated and not very comfortable to sit in. Other than that I love this place and plan on returning again, regardless of pillows, or couches!. Thank you, Sky Run . We had elk, deer, hummingbirds, rabbits in the yard. The men golfed, women shopped, visited RMNP, went on the tram ride and rode the Mountain roller coaster. All were very easy and quick to get to from our location. We had an easy check in and check out. The condo was well supplied with amenities, exactly as described. Well kept. We did not have a hot tub but this did not make a difference to our party. The pool was close to the unit if we would have wanted to use it. We felt very safe in the area. Would most definitely stay here again!We did have some trouble finding the unit as others have mentioned, and we did not receive a map of the complex. If you find the dumpsters, you can park in that lot and take the stairs up to the unit. Or you can drive around to the back of the building and follow the cobblestone path to the unitno stairs this way, but the path is a tad bumpy with luggage. The pool was very warm our first couple of days, but seemed a tad chillier as our stay progressed. Hot tub and fire pit were not functioning, just fyi if you are looking for those amenities. The place was spotlessly clean - probably the cleanest I have ever experienced in a vacation rental. It was also very stocked. The kitchen had just about every appliance/utensil you could need, and they weren't just the old, stained, crappy ones the owner was getting rid of from their home. Everything had a nice quality. The view was gorgeous and all the large windows made it feel so open and bright during the day. The furniture and bed were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice, and the fire place was extra cozy. My only complaint is that the internet was slow. It was frustrating sometimes waiting on things to load, but that is minor when everything else was great. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to make it our home for a week. We loved the view and the location. We were able to get to RMNP within minutes and definitely enjoyed being away from all the traffic in town. We had some issues with the dishwasher but the property manager was very responsive to the issue. The only downside of the condo, and I know it is not the property managerss fault, was the pool, hot tub and fire pit area. The pool was 60 degrees and completely unusable. The hot tub and fire pit were not working. We had selected this condo over other options so that our kids could use the pool area after hiking. My only suggestion is that the owners could provide a few more supplies. We cooked and ate some of our meals - and there are literally 5 plates, 5 forks, 5 spoons which means we were always cleaning dishes. Also, it says it sleeps 6. We made it work, but it is 2 beds and a pullout couch. Just something to be mindful of with older kids or multiple couples. Host's response: Hi Kerry! The fireplace was a plus due to the very low temperature, helps a lot to keep us warm and cozy. We have so much fun that we are planning to go back at the end of this year. The maintenance of the association works very well the first night that we had the blizzard, they came to remove the snow from the street. We found the place in a very good location, close to Rocky Mountains. The downtown is close as well, in case they want to get something from the stores. The accomodations and location were awesome! It was a very clean condo, the beds were very comfortable, warm place and beautiful view! Its a very short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. Only recommendation is to have a dvd player available. We brought some movies but we were not able to watch them! Overall, it was a great stay and we are ready to come back soon! Tony Stayed Oct, 2019 Review Super location one direction take you straight into RMNP, the other direction takes you right into the shopping strip on Elk Horn Avenue. At the same time its located just far enough from both to be quiet and peaceful. We had both deer and elk grazing just feet from our front door with a breathtaking view of the mountains through the floor to ceiling windows. David Stayed Sep, 2019 Review This spot is everything it claims to be, well appointed, comfortable, and gorgeous views off the patio and outside the kitchen and living areas. The best part, for us, was the marvelous location which is just far enough away from the Estes Park downtown to not feel crowded, yet close enough to all the major sites. The road in front of the complex runs directly out to the Rocky Mountain National Park without taking you through the busy downtown. It was nice to go to the condo at the end of day and rest from our adventures. Loved that we were able to make our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. It is well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Eating on the deck with the beautiful view was very enjoyable. The condo is clean and everything we expected. If I were to state something that could be improved upon, it would be the back walk way into the home. We were on the second story, the back entrance to help avoid all the stairs was wonderful. Stayed Jun, 2019 A great place to stay Very nice place to stay. Clean. Very helpful staff. Had some car trouble and they even jumped our car battery. Beautiful views. Enough out of town that it is quiet, but not too far to get places quickly. Loved that there was a grill on the deck. Community hot tub was out of order, so that was a little disappointing.
