We saw wildlife outside every morning and thoroughly enjoyed walking to Mary's Lake during our stay. The accommodations were adequate and appropriate for the price we paid. I will mention that the condo is not updated (shag carpeting) and has a bit of a musty smell. This wasn't a problem for me (I still gave it a 5 star rating), but for anyone with serious mold or dust allergies, this may not be the right place for you. It was closer to the road than we were expecting so there was unexpected traffic noise, but the views made up for the noise. Bear proof trashcans were easily accessible to the place and the check in/check out process was easy. As always, the AirBnB fees were tough to swallow but the SkyRun staff were great to work with. We were in town for a concert and extended our stay to include a hike in Estes Park. This place was perfect for this! We were minutes away from amazing trails, restaurants and shopping!The condo was a bit tricky to find, due to the signage on the deck door, but so worth the drive around. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils etc. for the basics for making a couple meals The living area was ok, the couch was comfy with a couple of side chairs for seating. However the small tv was awkwardly placed above the fridge. The bedrooms were spacious and the bed in the master was very comfortable. However those renting should know that to get to the master bedroom you need to walk through the other bedroom. Both had their own bathroom. The towels were high end, but the shampoo (no conditioner) were on the small side. While walking around or driving around the property there were many elk sightings including one with a large group of yearlings and one large bull. This was amazing!! Stayed Sep, 2022 Wonderful views and close to Estes Park We booked this place due to the location and the pictures of the area in the listing. and they did not disappoint! Wow, it was incredible. While we saw wildlife in RMNP too, we started off seeing a family of Mule Deer, and a bobcat, on our first night. The next morning more mule deer in the parking lot. Later we saw elk around the property, and across the street. We even saw a group of about 10 elk in the waters of Mary's Lake one evening and the next morning.You will have a great sunrise, and the sun sets behind you so you can sit on the balcony in cool comfort (It was in the 80's the week we were there).The condo is just as advertised. The 4 of us were very comfortable. The appliances were all clean and in working order. The bathrooms were clean and worked fine. No drips or having to jiggle handles. The beds were comfortable too.I think they should mention that you do get a toaster and coffee maker. I've learned if it isn't listed, you probably don't get it, but I asked and they did provide them.One complaint, though, was the door keypad seemed to stop working as soon as we got up Thursday morning. My wife and I used the "back" bedroom, and would use the balcony to come around to the main living area every morning. We just reentered the code. But Thursday morning, it didn't work, after a couple of tries. And just before we left, I wanted to double check ( a third time), but I couldn't get back in. This was all well before the 10am check out time, and before I even texted that we had left, as requested.And, I think you might need to clarify/adjust the availability of laundry services. It was mentioned, but after I couldn't find a laundry room, I called. I was told there was none onsite. Yet, one of the things to check when you check out, is to make sure the washer and dryer are empty. We had to go into town to do laundry.I also wouldn't mind seeing some more directions to the place as Ptarmagin Mountain was noted ANYWHERE that I could see. Also, you are better off parking above the building and walking directly to the condo, instead of down below and walking up all those stairs. One trip and that was enough for us.We would stay again in a heartbeat!Thank you Sky Run for a great vacation! The kitchen was stock with all your cooking utensils, pans, plates, glasses, ect. we used the coffee maker and toaster every morning. There is an electric fireplace that was nice to use to take the chill out of the air. The bedrooms are set up a bit different. You have to walk through the front one to get to the back one, although the rear bedroom does have a door to access the outside/deck area. This wasn't an issue for us and the bonus was we each had our own bathroom. But the best part were the views. So nice to just sit outside and take it all in. Plenty of parking in the front and no issues with noise , very peaceful for our Tuesday-Friday stay. The property manager was quick to respond back to me on my questions. We did park below and took the stairs to the condo, but you can park above and it's an easy walk. The little gate to property will say Tyree 202. Would stay here again with no hestation. The layout was a little quirky and the condo was a little hard to find, but the fact that there were two bedrooms, a separate living & kitchen area, separate A/Cs, and instant hot water were a plus. Only downside was HOA community pool/hot tub. We did not receive an access code to the enter the pool area, but it looked like the hot tub had not been in service for quite a while. It is tough to find, as reviews said, but we expected that. Head to the top of the ridge to find it. Quaint, clean apartment. Funky smaller appliances. (The front stove burner was not working and we could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace.) This was our favorite place we've stayed in Estes in the last 5 summers. Although it was cozy we had great big beds and plenty of space. It was nice that the back room had a separate entrance so they didn't have to walk through the other room to get to their own living space. The pool was nicely heated but the hot tub was sadly closed for our stay as well as the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils that made it possible for us to cook a big breakfast! And the view from the patio was the cherry on top! Sitting out on the porch and relaxing with a cup of coffee and taking in the wonderful view was a treat. There was more than enough room for 3 adults. 2 bathrooms is a plus. The king size bed is easily shareable. The kitchen is a little small but adequate for cooking. Overall I rate the experience as 5/5 and would definitely stay there again. Stayed May, 2022 Nice cozy place This place has an amazing view, and that’s really all I wanted for this vacation of ours. The place is nice, but the living area is a little small; the couch is a 3 cushion couch and not really comfortable. They have two rocking chairs also. The TV is in a horrible spot, and while we normally wouldn’t mind since it’s vacation, the hockey playoffs were on and we watched our team play a few of the nights. It’s a small TV and would do better mounted on the wall. The two bedrooms were plenty of space for just my husband and I, but note that you have to walk through the bedroom to get to the next one, or walk through the bedroom to get to the kitchen; kind of odd. The condos in this building are on the cozy side but have a full kitchen, fireplace, dining table and living area. Yes, you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other which is good to know for couples sharing a vacation rental but works fine for parents with small children. Stayed Nov, 2021 Great Views It was a nice little condo to rent out for the weekend! Fabulous views and the room was quite warm and spacious. I think next time we'll go with a room that has a hot tub with it. Only issue was with check-in. Instructions upon booking say you'll get a text of the door code the day of your stay. 2 hours prior to check in, I message the number given. The woman responding said we'd get it an hour prior. 4pm was check-in, I still didn't get anything. No text, no email, and nothing in my spam account. Call the number and got the "you should have received the text already as its after check-in time" from the two different employees I talked to. Obviously if I had the code, I wouldn't have called. So be on the lookout for not receiving the door code when the company says you will. Our only complaint would be the noisy HVAC unit on the side of the rental. It turns on frequently and it's pretty noisy. We eventually unplugged it via the first bedroom. We were a little worried about the integrity of the balcony itself as the wood was rotting and would shake very easily. They probably need to replace it soon. Right outside of Estes Park and no more than a 10 minute drive maybe even less to the Rocky Mountain national Park. It had great views with a really cute balcony and it overlooks the mountains. Nice two bedroom perfect for 2 to 4 people Id say. The kitchen had most things you needed the only thing was the stove was a little bit difficult to use but I made it work just fine. They gave great advice as far as a place to go out to eat so I highly suggest Smoke and Daves barbecue! Stayed Sep, 2019 Nice mountain view! We enjoyed our stay- the condo is very clean and cozy. The address is quiet and the view is very nice! The beds are comfortable and we appreciated the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. As an observation, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates and cookware, but other than salt and pepper, there isn't a stock pile of leftover spices, oil, etc from previous renters. This isn't a reason to pass on this nice condo-but if you plan to cook in, you'll need to purchase the basics rather than use, share & replace. Host's response: Thank you, Lori! Parking in the back was a hassle, only one way in/out and we had to reverse our car out most days with the way the parking was. We really liked the space, and the bedrooms were bigger than the pictures made them look. Perhaps this is described in the listing but I missed it; we didnt realize to access the second bedroom you either have to walk through the first bedroom or access from the outside. We were two couples staying so we used the outside access and it worked fine, just would have been a nice detail to know about ahead of time. Wed stay again! Host's response: Thank you, Carly! We were in absolute awe of the views from this rental. 5 star views. We ate every meal outside on the patio looking at the mountains. The place had everything we needed and was located close to everything while still slightly on the outskirts so it was quiet and peaceful. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was more of a trickle, as a woman with long hair, it was not adequate at all. That's me just being picky though. 10/10 would stay hear again. Great wrap around porch to watch the sunrise above the mountains. Well equipped kitchen. Went to the pool and swam but the hot tub spa was not working. Saw rainbows and wildlife. Would go here again. Stayed Jun, 2019 Cute small corner cabin Estes Park is absolutely gorgeous! Enjoyed this small corner cabin rental that sits up high above on a hillside. Very clean. We came and raced the Estes Park Half Marathon. Along with that we hiked totally over 50 miles of running or hiking. We were really looking forward to having a hot tub to relax our tired legs and recover but it was not in service. This was a big draw back for us... probably a deal breaker for future stays. It is also a community hot tub as opposed to a private which was not clearly specified in the description. Overall nice place but a very disappointing closed hot tub. Our property listings do clearly state which homes do and do not have private hot tubs, I hope that if staying with us in the future you can reserve a home with a private hot tub since that seems to be something you would have enjoyed. Stayed Jan, 2019 Beautiful view, cozy condo We greatly enjoyed our short stay in this cozy condo. I could have sat and looked out the window all day at the lake & mountains. Would have loved to sit on the deck but the weather did not cooperate while we were there:( Staff at the office were very friendly at check-in. We had to call because there was no hot water but found out it just takes longer to get to that end of the building and we just had to let it run a little longer. Maybe this could be posted in the book so others don't have to bother maintenance? Bedrooms and master bathroom were very spacious. Was nice to have 2 bathrooms for our family of 4. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, et. we needed to cook a meal or two. We would definetly stay again if we were in the area. Very close to town and RMNP.
