SUBMIT Dmitrii Stayed Oct, 2024 Review Great house and very convenient location close to the Rocky Mnt Park! Highly recommend! Host's response: Thank you for your review. SkyRun Rocky Mountain would love to host your next trip to Estes Park. Andy & Hannah Stayed Jul, 2024 Review The location was stunning. You have views from the beautiful big windows. We understand Estes is expensive, but price point seemed high. The kitchen was very well stocked, we appreciated that the washer is scent free as that is how we operate at home, and overall it felt clean. Small things like dusting seemed overlooked. And Im not talking about the high ceilings. The cobwebs covering items on the couch tables where the instructions are for check out. The rugs in the bathrooms and kitchen should probably be replaced as well; they look pretty worn. But overall, it was clean. Host's response: Thank you for all of your feedback. We will work with Field ops to correct the cleaning issue, and the worn rugs. Facundo Stayed Jul, 2023 Review Great place, would certainly go again. Host's response: Thank you for the 5 star review. We would love to host you again! Maria B. Stayed Nov, 2022 Beautiful and cozy Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids ages 4-9) had an impromptu Thanksgiving here and it was cozy and wonderful! The views are breathtaking and the house is beautiful. The bed frames/mattresses could use an upgrade, but everything else was great! Host's response: Thank you Maria for the great review. I will pass it on to the owner that the beds needs to be upgraded. Hurry back, SkyRun would love to host you again! Max B. Stayed Oct, 2022 Another great stay at SkyView This is our second stay at SkyView and it was wonderful as always. We love the location, the views, the deck and the house itself. Well stocked with essentials, very comfortable. Easy access to town, park entrances, Longs Peak area, etc. We saw lots of wildlife in the neighborhood including elk and deer. Were already looking forward to our next stay and would love to spend more time at SkyView. Host's response: Thank you for a nice review. SkyRun Estes Park is so happy you're thinking about coming back again. we'd love to host you. Lindsey D. Stayed Oct, 2022 Perfect! This was the perfect house for our group of 5. Very clean, great mountain view and comfortable! We will stay here again for our next Estes Park trip in the future! Host's response: Thank you for choosing SkyRun Estes Park for your latests adventure and we hope you stay with us again. Michael B. Stayed Aug, 2022 Great location Great house for families. Easy access to town and national park without being on a main drag. Great sunset and sunrise views and excellent porch. Only concern is with younger kids or adults with mobility issues, stairs may be a little steep for them. Would stay here again. Host's response: We at SkyRun Estes Park appreciate your feedback. We do have other units in the same area that don't have any stairs at all. Estes Park does have great views. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we hope to host you again soon. Salah Stayed Aug, 2022 Review Awesome place Host's response: Thank you for your review. We hope to host you again. Chris Stayed Aug, 2022 Review Overall, it was a good rental. The views from the house were beautiful and the windows made the most of them (sunrise was blissful). The house was clean and as described. It's in a perfectly nice residential neighborhood that is fairly convenient to town. I didn't score it a five because I thought the host should have done a better job of making us feel welcome. This is a comment on the policies and procedures of the rental (such as threatening excessive fines for policy violations). This is not a comment on the individuals responsible for the rental, with whom I had no interactions. Host's response: Thank you for your feedback are always looking to improve. We hope to host you again soon Kunal Stayed Aug, 2022 Review Absolutely loved this gorgeous cabin, located just minutes away from Rocky Mountain NP and Estes Park downtown. The place offers spectacular views of the Rockies and has a nice deck outside. The living room and kitchen area are large, with all the necessary utensils, plates, spices, etc. There is also a large Smart TV and other entertainment options, like board games and playing cards. The only real downside with this place was the ridiculously strict and a bit silly 'get out before 10 am policy'. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and Airbnb properties thus far and have never encountered a policy as draconian as this one. Host's response: Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and all the amenities. While our arrival and departure times are clearly stated in the listing, we understand guests would like to check in mid afternoon and leave late morning. However, it takes time to clean, inspect and maintain a three bedroom two bath home. It is neither silly nor draconian to give our employees the time they need to do their jobs, they work hard to prepare these homes for each of our guests. SkyRun Estes Park would love to host you again. David B. Stayed Aug, 2022 Wonderful stay! Our family of 5 had an amazing, albeit short, stay at this property. The house was spacious, offered fantastic views, was located conveniently close to town, and had an authentic, comfortable, rustic feel perfect for a mountain home. Our kids affectionately referred to it as the "cabin" and loved exploring every inch of it. Overall, it was perfect for our stay in Estes Park - thank you! Host's response: We are glad you kids enjoyed the "cabin". We hope you will visit us again. Mike S. Stayed Aug, 2022 Perfect place for our family reunion We really enjoyed this house! The views were amazing. It was well furnished, including comfortable beds. Downtown Estes Park and RMNP were very close. I would highly recommend staying here. Host's response: We are so happy you enjoyed the place and your family. SkyRun would love to host you again. Max B. Stayed Jul, 2022 Great time at Sky View The window view makes the whole stay. Home was well-stocked and had everything we needed. Looking forward to staying here again! Deb E. Stayed Jul, 2022 Mountain Retreat Our family returned to Sky View for the July 4th weekend. We always enjoy our stay there and the view from the house is magnificent and magical. Enough room for everyone and the “littles” had a blast giggling and playing together at the tot lot. Loved our Family meals around the table and the town was close to home. Lots to do in Estes so take advantage of it. The AC upgrade was everything! Susan F. Stayed Jul, 2022 Great location! We really enjoyed our stay! Location of the house makes it easy to get to RMNP and to downtown Estes Park. Great views from the living room. Would have loved it if those big windows could open so we could enjoy the cross breeze. However, it was really nice to sit out on the deck in the open air. Property managers were responsive and very nice to work with. Host's response: We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Sitting on the deck with the fresh mountain breeze is a relaxing way to spend the evening. SkyRun Estes Park would love to host you again. LathaS Stayed Jun, 2022 Review Awesome experience Host's response: We are glad you had an awesome experience. SkyRun Estes Park would love to host you again. Carmen Stayed Jun, 2022 Review Beautiful home right outside of Rocky Mtn National Park. We loved the high windows in the living area. The downstairs shower wasnt draining when we got there at night and they were able to get maintenance to fix it while we went hiking the following day. We highly recommend this home. Host's response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for letting us know about the shower drain so we could take care of it for you. SkyRun Este Park would love to host you again. Denny Stayed Jun, 2022 Review Beautiful and spacious stay, perfectly located in quiet but close proximity to Estes Park and all of its surroundings! Host's response: Thank you for staying with SkyRun Estes Park. We would love to host you again. Steven Stayed Jun, 2022 Review We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, large, and spacious home, surrounded by mountain peaks. The location is perfect for a wide variety of vacation adventures. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park to hike trails on Bear Lake (very crowded and a long line of cars to get in).We also visited the Estes Park downtown area which is filled with restaurants, gift shops, and bars (about 8 minutes from the house). While downtown, we ride the Aerial Tram (highly recommended, $12 per person, amazing views). Get there in the first hour it is open (9 am to 10 am) to avoid long lines. You can do a nice uphill hike at the top and visit the gift shop for souvenirs or coffee. While waiting with 22 other people for the park and ride bus at Bear Lake, a nice lady told us about a less crowded park and trails located at Wild Basin that required no reservation before 9 am. It was located about 28 minutes away from the house on a very scenic drive up steep, winding, and narrow mountain roads. We drive there on day two and found an absolutely stunning same sparcely populated space (we arrived around am. I would recommend this trailhead want day over the much more popular and populated Bear Lake.We also went to the Stanley Hotel ghost tour which was a complete waste of money. Save $30 per person and $10 to park AND gratuity, avoid a long, hard to understand speech in stifling hot rooms. You can just pay $10 for parking and walk around most of the grounds for free. Let me give you info that will save you big bucks; Stephen King stayed d in room 217 where he got the idea for The Shining. Ghosts that reportedly roam the hotel are a little girl named Lucy who haunts the theater, a mean poultergeist named Dennis and a variety of others that seemed pretty far fetched.Bach to the Skyview. The house is large and spacious. The views are magnificent, especially sunrise over the mountains viewed from the floor to ceiling front windows. Driving to the house, we saw mule deer, rabbits, chipmunks, deer, and hawks. The house is located in a neighborhood but it is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The only issues we had were a stopped up shower drain on the first floor (management was very responsive and a call resulted in it being repaired in under two hours), the shower water went from too hot to tepid repeatedly. no matter how you adjusted the shower valve, it would creep one way or the other so it was a constant challenge to find a temp you liked. The final issue I had was a sign in the laundry room that said guests were not allowed to use was detergent or dryer sheets with any fragrance due to the owner's severe allergies to things that when good, I guess. The the best of my knowledge, this was not mentioned anywhere in the literature about the house prior to booking. Guests are told by one of the many signs posted liberally around the house, starting the rules Host's response: Thank you for both the positive and constructive feedback, Steve! We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay with SkyRun in Estes Park and appreciate the thorough review. We will definitely follow up on the water temperature issue with our maintenance team. We'd love to host you again soon! JOANN C. Stayed Jun, 2022 The View My daughter and I enjoyed our adult weekend. The view was spectacular. Painter Girl Stayed May, 2022 Stunning views, classic rustic dcor and extremely luxurious comfort Adam H.Stunning views, classic rustic decor and extremely luxurious comfort. 5 of 5As you can see from the pictures the views are amazing and the layout of the house complements the large window front. My friends and I were blown away by the house, it was just perfect in every way. Easy to get to, quiet neighborhood, and just a quick 5 minute drive to the center of Estes Park. It was great to spend a full day hiking/driving inside of Rocky Mountain National Park and then to end the day grilling out on the deck with such great views and such a comfortable space. My friends and I plan staying here once a year if it's available! Thank you!Submitted: Oct 2, 2017 Stayed: September 2017 Source: VRBO, from HomeAway Karen D. Very big even for my group of eight we never felt overly crowded. Katie M. Stayed Jan, 2022 Awesome space for a family gathering! Terrific layout. Spacious, clean, and beautiful architecture. Quiet neighborhood, 10 minute drive into downtown. Host's response: Thank you for staying with SkyRun! We're happy to hear you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the beautiful home! We would love to have you back! Michael B. Stayed Jan, 2022 Adequate Property This property was adequate for our stay. We've stayed in a number of rentals, and this was not the best - nor was it the worst. It was very clean, and the property managers were very timely in their responses. The view was lovely - especially because it snowed for several days of our visit - and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery out the large windows! Overall the property met our needs, but was not a place we would return to (although there were no significant issues). Several things we did find surprising and/or problematic:* The Internet connection was very poor. NOT a place you could work from if Internet was a necessity. * The house was much older than it appeared online or what we had expected.* The driveway is very steep - so make sure you have an AWD for the winter months. We had an AWD Suburban, and it was still difficult to navigate with the ice and snow.* Controlling the temperature was difficult. The bedrooms were either really warm or really cold. * There were no instructions for the TV. There were 4 remotes and we had to play around with them all until we got the system working. * The kitchen was generally well furnished, but some items did not work - including the mixer. Also, there was no tupperware or storage items. * They provided only a bottle of dishwashing soap and pods for the dishwasher. There was no way to clean the stove, countertops, sink, etc. When asked about what to clean with, we were told that all they provide is the dish soap. So, bring your own countertop cleaner, etc. * The beds were adequate, but we found the pillows to be very uncomfortable. However, that could be a preference issue.* The house was in a fairly populated residential neighborhood -which was surprising to us a bit. The pictures made it look more isolated than it really is.* The two bathrooms were very small for this size of home. It would be difficult for more than one person to be getting ready in either of the bathrooms. * The fireplace is electric, puts out very little heat, and is located behind the seating area for some reason.Overall, this was a nice home. However, as an older home it just didn't offer the unique things we have found at other rentals in the area. The view out the den window was absolutely spectacular as advertised, and it felt very spacious (except for the bathrooms). We would not hesitate to recommend this home if you are looking for a simple, basic, clean rental. Host's response: Thank you for staying with SkyRun! We appreciate your feedback and we will pass this information onto the appropriate members of our team! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the beautiful views and had an enjoyable stay! Marlana K. Stayed Nov, 2021 Beautiful window view Enjoyed it Host's response: We are so glad you had a wonderful stay! Thank you for staying with SkyRun! We would love to host you again! Zen T. Stayed Oct, 2021 Fabulous getaway! This house is absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room to spread out and an incredible mountain view from the living room. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and beds were very comfy. Cant wait to come back! Host's response: Thank you for staying with SkyRun! We are so glad you had a wonderful stay. We are so glad you had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. We would love to have you back again! Ruth Ann B. Stayed Oct, 2021 Fall break get away We arrived at the end of September with friends to have a fall get away, hopefully see the aspens in their full color, enjoy some hiking, and as the friends had just gone through a daughter's wedding enjoy some post-wedding decompression time! We timed it perfectly for the aspens, had good hikes, and enjoyed decompressing with no agenda! Skyview was great for us. Our friends took the upstairs bedrooms and bath while we claimed the first floor master. Beds were comfy, pillows good - always a concern! Nice to have plenty of night tables/electric outlets for charging things. In the master, the closet is huge! Nice to have the ottoman at the foot of the bed to sit on while changing from boots to slippers! While our bath wasn't en suite, it was a short few steps down the hall and was spacious. The shower was good - but occasionally cycled weirdly between hot/warm water even when nothing else was using water. No complaints from upstairs friends about their tub/shower. Skyview has a fantastic floor to ceiling window in the living area. Great view to the north toward Lake Estes over the trees of the area - at night it was wonderful to view stars. The deck around the house was nice to sit out on and have coffee. One morning the deer were right up against it - I wouldn't recommend them as landscapers though! We could hear the elk bugling thoughout the area - we came right as the rut was in full swing - and often saw the Estes herd nearby. Once the herd was along Fish Creek Road by the golf course - and the big bull elk had lots of females with him! Great photo op! Skyview's kitchen is spacious with lots of utensils/cookware/well-stocked. We could never find a cutting board though and the microwave rotating feature was not always working properly. The hutch by the table was where all glassware/silverware was stored - and it must be by a heat vent because it was warmed! Plenty of coffee mugs! It was also nice to have washer/dryer available after going out hiking - keeps the packing down! Skyview's location was perfect for us - we've been out to Estes several times now, renting from SkyRun for those visits, and this time we liked being out off CO 7 near Mary's Lake Road area. We could get into the RMNP easily without going through town, get down to Wild Basin quickly, or even get over to Old Fall River entrance quickly. Our daughter lives over on the north side of Lake Estes and it was easy to zip around to her place from Skyview. Suggestion - put into the binder how to work the tv controls. We had difficulty occasionally getting the DIsh system to work with the controllers and there were no instructions. The binder does need some updating as the system is no longer DirecTV. There were also no departure instructions in the binder like I've seen in other properties. The upstairs bedrooms could benefit by having another lamp for lighting purposes if the owners want to add. We certainly enjoyed our stay in Skyview and renting via SkyRun. Adrianne Stayed Sep, 2021 Review We stayed in Colorado for the first time ..the place was clean and spacious for the amount of people..the view and area is beautiful and exactly what we what we were looking for our visit. Stayed Jul, 2021 5 Stars! Exceeded our expectations! Sky view of the Rockies exceeded our expectations. The view alone made this property so spectacular. There was plenty of room for the entire family to gather around the dinner table for meals as well as have their own private space. It was close to town and to tourist attractions, dining and shopping. Any requests were immediately satisfied by management. I provided a scenic backdrop for family photos, allowed the kids to play outside and close to a tot lot. We had food delivered in a timely manner and we saw wildlife throughout our stay. We enjoyed all the creature comforts of home. It was the perfect place to see our family after a long absence apart. Rachel Stayed Jun, 2021 Review My family and I, 6 adults in total, had a wonderful stay here. The pictures do not do the beauty justice. This place was open, large, home-y, and everything you could want for a weekend or longer stay. We stayed about a week and had a great time with lots of privacy. We will definitely look into booking here in the future if we visit Estes Park again. Highly recommend! Host's response: Thank you for the great feedback! Dione/SkyRun Awesome view We had a great time while staying . The view is amazing. Plenty of space . We would stay here again. Quiet neighborhood . The cookware could use a upgrade as every skillet stuck very bad. When we arrived the driveway was covered in thick ice. We couldnt get up the driveway. We called and they sent maintenance to come take care of it for us. They arrived very quickly. Overall we had a great vacation and enjoyed the home. Host's response: We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the feedback regarding the cookware in the unit, we will pass that along to our team. Dilek Stayed Jan, 2021 Review This is an ideal stay for a family. The location is perfect for those with smaller kids, as a playground and pond are a short walk away. You are close RMNP (a 10-minute drive to Lily Lake; a bit further for Sprague Lake). This property is very clean as has ample supplies in the kitchen, as well as Dish TV and a handful of games. Theyve done such a great job decorating it accordingly and I truly fell in love with this place, id move here in a heartbeat! I loved that it wasnt too far from town and Im a quiet neighborhood. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future bookings in Estes Park! Host's response: Aw, thank you Britnee!! We really appreciate that feedback and hope that we'll be able to host a return visit for you soon! Jeannette T. Stayed Jan, 2021 Winter Wonderland Beautiful views and comfortable home. Definitely felt like a true escape with easy access to RMNP and deer and elk close by. Mario G. Stayed Dec, 2020 Winter Family Vacation Awesome view and cozy cabin feel home. Host's response: So glad you enjoyed this home. The tall window in front is amazing. Tina L. Stayed Dec, 2020 Engagement Surprise Just a quick weekend getaway for a surprise engagement. With the current environment we wanted a place away from home we could just be together as a family. This was the perfect space, we will be back. Alicia C. Stayed Sep, 2020 Beautiful home! This was a lovely home with beautiful views! We had plenty of room for our group of 8 to sleep and hang out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Host's response: Thank you so much, Alicia. We loved hosting you and hope that you'll be back for a return visit soon! Susan Stayed Sep, 2020 Review The photos were very accurate of the property. The kitchen had every appliance we could have needed. Somehow we had missed information about needing to use only the soaps, shampoos, and detergent at the house due to the owner having allergies, which was a bit inconvenient. We had a problem with flies in the house, but maintenance came out the next day and set traps after which the number of flies dropped off and could easily be handled with a fly swatter. We enjoyed our time at this house as the location was very convenient to RMNP. The Safeway grocery store (about 5 minutes away) was very well-stocked and we got some great steaks there one night for grilling out. Alishia H. Stayed Sep, 2020 Family Weekend Fantastic home to spend a few nights with family. Home was clean and decorated nicely. The front room window provides an amazing view. Bedding was comfortable, and accommodated all 7 of us comfortably. The kitchen had all the dishes and utensils that we needed. Only recommendation would be to install some sort of AC system since the Summers are hot and the rooms upstairs at night are uncomfortably warm. However, there are multiple stand up fans that helped cool the rooms down a bit. Host's response: So glad you enjoyed that great view. We do have a few hot days in late summer, but usually manageable with fans. Most homes in Estes Park do not have AC. Family Reunion We talked, laughed and enjoyed the sun! We visited with relatives we hadn't seen in 40+ years. The view from the house is amazing! We are big fans of "The Shining" so visiting The Stanley Hotel was awesome!! Jane P. Stayed Aug, 2020 Excellent spot for hiking and relaxation! Excellent! Staci B. Stayed Aug, 2020 Peaceful and Relaxing We had an Amazing Time! Stayed Jun, 2020 Relaxing Family Weekend Overall we had a wonderful time. The home was clean and convenient. We all slept reasonably well with the exception of the one on the hide-a-bed in the loft (that could be upgraded).Beautiful home, great stay! Host's response: So glad you enjoyed yourself. We would love to host you again! Cynthia S. Stayed Mar, 2020 Mother Nature forced an early exit Compared to our little bungalow in DFW, it was spectacular with impressive views of the Rockies. Very spacious and comfortable with rustic decor. Host's response: Thank you, Cynthia! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope that you'll be back again to do so again! Joshua A. Stayed Feb, 2020 Cabin in the mountains It was exactly what I was looking for. Awesome time with family in the mountains sledding and enjoying the outdoors. Snowing a few days was a big plus. Highly recommend this place. If you want that cabin in the mountains feel instead of super luxury this is the one for you. Host's response: Thank you, Joshua! Were so glad to hear that the cabin was everything youd hoped and hope that youll be back to stay with us again soon! John Stayed Dec, 2019 Review The home is gorgeous. Plenty of room and space to hang out. It is also close to downtown Estes.....maybe 10 minute drive. The house was really nice. Bring blankets......the heat in the house isn't great. Couldn't get it warmer than 65 degrees. Luckily we had electric blankets that we used to stay warm at night. Also, the Wifi was out so we couldn't stream anything. Host's response: Thank you for your review and comments. I've notified maintenance about your message. We wish you well in future travels, John! Danielle Stayed Dec, 2019 Review Great place to stay! Gorgeous house with plenty of room. Host's response: We're so pleased you enjoyed the home and felt like you had plenty of space to relax. We look forward to your return, Danielle! Calvin R. Host's response: We're so happy this was a great place for your family, and we hope to have you back for another stay soon! Lori Stayed Oct, 2019 Review A very nice option for a mid-size group if you're looking for beautiful views in a quiet, residential neighborhood.. Very clean and stocked nicely. Host's response: We're happy to hear the view was beautiful, and that our place was clean and stocked nicely for you folks! We hope to have you back again for another visit soon. Greg Stayed Oct, 2019 Review House is an amazing layout and architecturally unique with an amazing 3 story window and incredible view. Very spacious with an open lower level great for gathering and relaxing after a day hiking. Location is perfect only minutes from downtown Estes and an easy bypass to the entrance to RMNP. Looking forward to staying again. Host's response: Thank you, Greg! We're so glad that you were happy with the home and plan to stay again, we look forward to your return visit and hope that you're able to make that soon! Jeff B. Stayed Oct, 2019 Great veiws Property was clean, quiet, with excellent views of the mountains. Disappointed that the fireplaces did not work, even tho they are only electric. Also the pillows have no support or fluff left to them and need to be replaced. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Host's response: Thank you, Jeff. We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay and were happy with the home and its views. We're working to repair the fireplaces and should you return our hope is that you would be able to enjoy them as well! Jim L. Stayed Sep, 2019 Lovely Fall Weekend in Estes We really enjoyed this very lovely home. It was clean, classy, and the property management was easy to work with. It is a little further outside of the Estes hub in a residential neighborhood, which was less than ideal, but it was such a great home and was no big deal. Host's response: We're happy to hear you really enjoyed our property! We're glad that it was clean and classy for you, and we hope the location was beautiful and enjoyable even though it wasn't super close to the Estes hub. We hope you return again in the future for another visit! Teresa R. Stayed Sep, 2019 Mountain Escape We went to Estes Park for a girls getaway and had a fantastic time. The house was clean, convenient to downtown Estes Park, and had a beautiful view. I would highly recommend this house for your next vacation! Host's response: Thank you, Teresa! We're so thrilled that you enjoyed your time at Sky View in the Rockies and hope that you and your friends will be making a return trip soon! fabio b. Stayed Sep, 2019 Estes park Overall nice property. Host's response: We thank you for staying at Sky View in the Rockies and look forward to your return, Fabio! Jesse Stayed Aug, 2019 Review We stayed in a SkyRun property last summer and were delighted. So when we needed a place to stay this summer, of course we booked with SkyRun once again. Same as last year, we were very pleased. This property is beautiful, clean, and quiet. When we visit Estes Park in the future, we will only consider SkyRun properties. Host's response: Thank you for remembering SkyRun Estes Park, Jesse! We're so pleased you stayed in one of our homes again. If you plan to return to Estes Park again (please do!!) we will be happy to offer you a 10% discount if you reserve through our website. We are proud to have you as our guest! Ashley M. Stayed Aug, 2019 Nice Vacation The home is older than expected based on the pictures. Lots of space which was great for our family vacation with 8ppl. Weird lighting, always felt dark even with all lights on. Location was as expected, if we go to Estes again we might try staying closer to the river and shopping area, but it is a quick drive to get into town. There is a little park by the entrance to the area which my kids enjoyed. We saw two elk in this area several times. No air conditioning, which is common in this area, however, the week we stayed was very warm. Was about 10pm before the house was a comfortable temp. Nice deck with swing, furniture and grill. Two refrigerators which was nice to store all the food and drinks we brought along. Coffee maker was broken upon arrival, we didn't have enough wash cloths for everyone to have one and one of the windows didn't lock. The property management company brought a new coffee machine and enough wash clothes very promptly. They were aware of window not locking. Host's response: Thank you, Ashley! We are glad to hear that this home was a great space for your family's Estes Park vacation. We appreciate all of your feedback and hope that you'll be back to stay with us again. Jessica F. Stayed Jul, 2019 Wonderful experience! This house was amazing! With 6 people we loved the 3 sepa5bedrooms as well as the different loft areas so that we could split up and not annoy each other all the time. We enjoyed the house so much and will definitely rent again! Host's response: Thank you for your review and comments. We're pleased you enjoyed this spacious home - lots of spaces to relax! We look forward to your next reservation! Randy F. Stayed Jul, 2019 Location great. Plenty of room in the house. Coffee pot leaked. Otherwise it was great. Host's response: We're so glad that you were happy with the home and its location. We would have gladly brought you a new coffee pot had you made us aware of the issue while you were staying, we are here to help! We hope that you'll be back again! Nancy Stayed May, 2019 Return Visit This was our second stay here and we loved it the second time as much as the first! It’s winning feature is the A frame windows Loki g out over the mountains! Sitting in those sofas Loki g out those windows makes it spectacular. But it’s many other features makes this home great as well. A large kitchen and table to seat our family, comfortable beds, terrific mountain decor, proximity to Estes Park, etc. There was a late May snow storm which was actually beautiful with the snow everywhere. It limited our mountain hiking but we hankered down in this fabulous home, venturing out anyway, and had a fabulous family reunion bringing together family from all over. Barbara H. Stayed May, 2019 Family vacation Your home was very comfortable for our family vacation over Memorial Day weekend 2019. Six of us stayed in your home and all of us slept very well during our stay. The open concept and views from the main floor were great. We enjoyed hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and the shopping and Art Fair in Estes Park. We also enjoyed a drive to the Glen Haven General Store for great cinnamon rolls!Overall our stay was wonderful!Just a couple of small suggestions to improve the stay for others: check on lighting - the lighting in the kitchen over the stove was not very good and the spotlights over the fireplace did not work. We also ran short of toilet paper during our stay. Host's response: Thank you for staying in a SkyRun managed home. We hope you return for another visit. Holly B. Stayed Apr, 2019 Sky View Easter Weekend This house is amazing! The views are incredible and breathtaking. We had elk and deer in the front yard each night. The only recommendation I would have for improvement would be if the owners supplied board games. We found cards, but wished there was something addition to play. Host's response: Thank you for your feedback! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the home, its views, and the visits from local wildlife. We hope you'll be back to stay again soon! DeAnna A. Stayed Feb, 2019 Nice clean home Large home with everything you need Host's response: Thanks for your review! Rachel Tyler Stayed Jan, 2019 Review We had a great stay in this beautiful home. Plenty of space for six of us. The home is very cozy and welcoming with great views. All amenities were provided and we had no issues. We will definitely be returning. Host's response: Thank you, Tyler. We hope you're planning a return visit! Cecilia Stayed Dec, 2018 Review Initially my family wanted to see snow and booking here we got to see snow and more! Well, this was a very interesting trip for me and my family , it was scary getting here ! We drove from Texas, passed Okla then Kansas and then snow storm Eboni happened, this was the first time we encountered such weather conditions, we arrived a bit late to Estes Park, the roads are steep so yes, be sure to bring a 4wd here, arriving we went straight to bed, the next morning was the day we got to see the surroundings and it was beautiful, having to have the high windows me and my family were just clicking pics, we even got to see deers running around and eating outside, later wed all play in the snow. The home was more than perfect for 3 adults 2 kids and 1 baby, thank you SkyRun for helping me give this unforgettable experience to my family, we all loved it here (: Host's response: Thank you for your review and comments, Cecilia. We do love our life in the mountains, even if getting here is sometimes a treacherous journey! We're so pleased you arrived safe and sound and were able to embrace all Estes Park and our Rocky Mountains have to offer. Sky View in the Rockies has the most amazing windows for the winter wonderland you enjoyed. Please come back in the summer for an entirely new and spectacular experience! Rachel Stayed Oct, 2018 Review Wonderful cabin in a wonderful location. The House was more than large enough for our family of 5 adults. The location was incredible about 15 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park and 10 minutes to downtown Estes Park with coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The house itself was clean and comfortable and we would def stay again. Host's response: Hi Rachel,Thank you for staying at Sky View in the Rockies. We hope you were able to enjoy lots of wildlife viewing while here. Please come back to visit soon! Right outside the national park, with great views and easy access to town. The space is beautiful with a huge common area, which was great for our trip with another couple and our young children. Host's response: Thank you for your descriptive review of Sky View in the Rockies vacation home in Estes Park. SkyRun hopes you, the family and friends are considering a return visit very soon! Alissa R. Stayed Aug, 2018 Perfect home in Estes! This was the perfect home for my bachelorette weekend! It is only about a 5 minute drive from downtown, and is STUNNING. The back deck was perfect for coffee in the morning. The only things to note: The owner is heavily allergic to fragrance, so you'll be asked to refrain from using products with heavy scents. The other is there are not very many uber/taxis in Estes so plan ahead! I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!! Host's response: Hello Alissa!Congratulations and Best Wishes to you for your upcoming nuptials! We are so very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at SkyRun's Sky View in the Rockies at Estes Park and we hope you'll be able to come back very soon.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so gracious to our owners, and their allergies in this case. Who knows...maybe with your review, more drivers will sign up to help during the busy times!Hopefully we'll see you back in Estes Park at any one of our many SkyRun's properties. Jane B. Stayed Jul, 2018 Beautiful! What a perfect place to stay outside of Estes Park! Immaculately clean, gorgeous view of the mountains, furnishings lovely including leather sofa, spacious master bedroom with comfortable bed, two smaller but nice bedrooms, nice large kitchen and island, close to town, a scent sensitive owner so all products are scent free, nice dishes and wine glasses for dining. Just four of us stayed there, and it was worth it, even with space to "spare," would come back here again in a heart beat! Nancy G. Stayed Jul, 2018 Perfect Mountain Reunion We just spent the weekend with college friends from the 70's in this amazing home.
