First of all, the place was immaculate. Seriously probably one of the cleanest airbnbs weve ever been to. Second, it was so cute and cozy and the beds were very comfortable! Eric Stayed Sep, 2024 Review I honestly had a really good time at this location, lots of very appreciated amenities such as puzzles, games, books, cooking supplies, toiletries, washing machines. Very cozy overall and had great views. We went to the Rocky Mountains to hike but saw more wildlife near the cabin than the in the park itself, such as moose, deer, rabbits and chipmunks. I also appreciate the host allowing us to check in an hr early. It was a beautiful comfy cabin and had beautiful views that were only semi obstructed. Only issues think keeping it 5 stars is that there when we were there: the downstairs bedroom would not lock. Couldnt get the fireplace working (warm weather anyway so no needed) Cabin had no AC too good of insulation and did get pretty hot even with all the windows covered so had to keep the balcony door open for a lot of our stay but I did appreciate the fans. Where Im from, we dont really drink tap water so had to obtain own water or boil (small issue, mainly cultural difference). Host's response: We are glad you had a good time here. It is always fun to see the wildlife near the cabin! The fireplace pilot lights are turned off during the summer as they put of quite a bit of heat. The listing states no AC so guests wont be surprised by this when they arrive. The tap water is from the town so is not a problem to drink. We drink it and our guests drink it with no problems! Nomad Stayed Aug, 2024 Beautiful place in a wonderful location We stayed for 4 days in Solitude Eagle #6 and fully enjoyed it. It is very well equipped and feels really comfortable. We loved sitting outside on the deck or on the balcony upstairs or inside in front of the 'fireplace' when the early morning hours were a bit chilly. Christie Stayed Jun, 2024 Review Our stay at Solitude Eagle #6 was absolutely lovely once we got inside! The beds were comfortable, it was spacious and we were able to make some lovely meals in the kitchen. Even though we were there during a heat wave, opening windows and turning on the house fans cooled the house off quite quickly. Loved the amazing smelling ponderosa pines just outside the door. Our only challenge was we arrived late at night and didn't interpret the map properly. The numbers for the cabins are on the front bottom edge of the deck, not near the doors. I accidentally tried my code on a cabin that wasn't ours. This unit is far back and up a hill (with steps), so youll either want to be packing light or have wheels on your luggage. We were just starting a 2 week roadtrip so we had a lot of luggage; having not yet acclimated to the elevation, it was a bit of a workout getting everything inside. We felt parking in 1870 gave an easier path than parking in 1855. Even so, we would happily book again! Host's response: Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!
