I saw some reviews that it was small, but it looked just like the photos. It was cozy and I was impressed with how exceptionally clean it was. The bed was incredibly comfortable too!It was very quiet in the building and the front desk (I called before heading up ) was very friendly and helpful when I had a question. Definitely a great deal for the price!

Host's response:

Thank you Sarah for such a positive review. Solitude Cabins and Lodge even though close to the town of Estes Park - still nice an quiet.

Nice room in Estes Park

Nicely updated room in a lodge on the quiet edge of Estes! Plenty of parking, which I appreciate in these resort towns. SkyRun seemed to have their act together, as the room was clean, had helpful information, and check-in was easy. Note that it is on second floor and there is no elevator. I hope to stay here again.

Host's response:

Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The Solitude Lodge rooms are a great place for a couples getaway. Close to town yet quiet. SkyRun Rocky Mountain would love to host your next trip to Estes Park.

We felt it was more motel like rather than an Airbnb. Nice area. Quiet.

The room was clean and smelled nice. Plenty of coffee for the morning. Excellent shower. A bit small for the price but ok considering location in regards to Estes.

Host's response:

Thank you Timothy for your feedback. Estes Park is very expensive no matter where you stay. But we are pleased to hear that the cleaning crew did a good job and the Shower was great - I live up here and I wish my shower was excellent. We'd love to host you again in Estes Park

We had a great time staying here while exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Easy drive to the park entrance or the downtown area. The room was comfortable and clean. I especially liked the fireplace and the bed was very cozy. Easy self check in with a keypad lock on the door.

Host's response:

We are so pleased you enjoyed the location at Solitude Cabins/Lodge. We'd Love to host you again soon

Nice for a short stay

I had a nice 2-night stay here. I liked that I could jog on a trail that started across the street. The room wasn't large, but it was very clean, and the lodge was easy to get to. SkyRun office is in the building, and they see eager to help if you need anything. (But, you don't have to check in with them, you go right to your room.)

Host's response:

We are so pleased you loved the location and got to enjoy the closeness to trails. We are here to help but not in your business - unless you need us.

It was a great stay while we were visiting Rocky Mountain NP! We wish the hot tub was open later to enjoy after evening hikes and dinner in town, but otherwise it was a very comfortable stay! We would come back!

We had a great stay. The room as well as the accommodation as a whole is modern, cozy and clean. From booking to check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly and they were quick to answer questions by phone and very helpful. The lodge is only a 3 minute drive from downtown Estes park and 15 minutes to the national park entrance.

Host's response:

Thank you for your review. We would love to host you again.

Wonderful rooms with the occasional chance to see some wildlife. It was nice not being on a major highway and only a short drive to the downtown area.

Every step of the way from booking to checking out was flawless. We didnt need anything but they seemed easy to work with if something had come up. The linens! Towels, mattress, sheets, comforter and even pillows were all so comfortable. The room cooled down or warmed up as quickly as we needed it to. There was a nice desk fan that we turned on once or twice. I adored the fireplace. I had it on at all times when we were in the room. I only turned the heat feature on once for a little bit but I loved watching the calming flames. We were in the lodge so we didnt have a kitchen but the coffee station was nice. We really utilized the ample counter space. Plenty of drawers and closet space for 2 people. Gorgeous view. Perfectly located near town and the park entrance but yet very quiet and secluded. The bathroom was spacious. Two shower heads. Only one sink but I actually prefer one sink and more counter space over two sinks. I would and will recommend!

Host's response:

Thank you Carrie for such a great review - we'd be more than happy to host you again soon. SkyRun Estes Park

Very clean, very comfortable stay. Check in was a bit confusing as we arrived after the office was closed and didnt realize our room was inside the lodge, and not in one of the buildings around the lodge. We couldnt tell if the address we were sent was our rooms address or the lodges address (turned out to be both). Luckily one of the pictures in the listing showed the front door in an interior hallway and that helped us find it. Had a beautiful weekend walking around Estes Park and overall a wonderful experience. Would stay again!

Host's response:

Thank you for your feed back - we will work on our arrival instructions so future guests won't be so confused.
