Stayed Sep, 2022 Beautiful Mountain Retreat Teepee Mountain 12a was perfect for our family of 4! The room was exceptionally clean, kitchen had all the essentials and the view was spectacular. Really started to feel like home after a few days. The only thing I would recommend are the addition of blackout shades in the king bedroom similar to what is in the Queen bedroom, TV that is a little easier to work with (it took us awhile to figure out how to play movies with the combo of three remotes) perhaps an upgrade to the coffee maker (we could not get a decent brew our entire stay, but more of a reason to check out the local coffee spots) and maybe a deep carpet clean, you can see the high traffic areas but absolutely not a deal breaker. And completely unrelated to the room, the community pool and hot tub could use some some attention. Our kids complained of a strong smell and we maybe spent 15 minutes there before they could no longer take it. Lots of peeling paint and cracks everywhere, just a good face lift would really make a world of difference. We spent the last part of our trip at Great Wolf Lodge so the pool was not central to this part of our stay, but it was something we tried to incorporate for our kids (8 and 5). We wished we could have checked in sooner than 4pm since out flight into Denver landed at 630am. There was a shade in one of the bedrooms that did not work and on the sliding glass door was missing 5 panels. The first plate I grabbed out of the cupboard was dirty, but would definately come back and stay though. Loved having bathrooms with each bedroom, that is why we chose this unit. We did have a minor issue, but the management company communicated well with us several times during the day and helped us out. The home does have many kitchen items: several size of pots to cook for more than 3 people. We enjoyed cooking and eating on the patio. We saw wildlife on the first day, but sadly they did not return for the rest of our trip. Sunrise is definitely a must. I would book again as it was close to downtown, but in a quiet area of town. We loved this place. It was just the right size for the four of us, letting the kids wake up slowly while we enjoyed our coffee in the living room. We watched an amazing snow with the comfort of a warm fire, looking straight over Mary's Lake and the surrounding hills. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and furniture where very comfortable. We didn't use the hide-a-bed. Recommendations: bring some food storage like baggies, Tupperware, tinfoil, or saran wrap, and bring some laundry detergent if you want to use the washer and dryer. One thing we did have some trouble with was the hot water. The unit has a tankless heater, but it seemed a little temperamental, giving us ice-cold water for a minute before it kicked back on. Skyrun sent a handyman two different times to work on it and finally hired a AC company. They fixed the AC problem and it worked great the remainder of our stay. This is our 3rd time to stay at this condo complex and this particular condo was our least favorite, but it was less expensive and was all that was available. It is still very nice for a couple. The views off the balcony are fantastic! The TV worked well and the master bedroom king bed was comfy. Dark out shades in the master was great for sleeping in. I really like Skyrun. Stayed Sep, 2019 We enjoyed our stay Checking into this property was a breeze. The management was very friendly and arranged for an early check in for our group. I was very pleased with her customer service. The property was clean and looked exactly like the pictures however, there were a few things that definitely could have been better. One of the pillow cases in the Queen room was stained as was the bath mat in the main bathroom. They gave us one extra roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms. The overhead light in the living room did not work and neither did the igniter for the grill outside. The big thing for us was that the kitchen was not stocked well. There was no cookie sheet, the knives were a joke and the only thing provided at the property was salt and pepper. There were no containers for left overs or even zip lock bags. I realise that the purpose of renting is so you can provide your own meals but we've stayed in quite a few properties all over the country and this one was the least stocked. Also know that you will be very close to your neighbors. When standing on the balcony you can see directly into the next condo and they can see into yours if the shade is up. The beds were not super comfortable, but after a long day of hiking, it didn't really matter. We would stay here again but would love to see some improvement in the kitchen area. The condo was spacious, equipped with everything we needed, and felt like staying at home while on vacation. The views were AMAZING, and hands down our favorite part. The large balcony made enjoying these views even better. Only (very minor) complaints were: 1) a lighting issue in the living area: the fan lights flickered on and off and made us worry about a potential wiring issue. But we were able to use the lamps and get along fine. And 2) the balcony door/window blinds were partially broken and not all slats closed all the way. That said... these issues were not big enough for us to mention to management, who Im sure would have corrected them right away (they were very responsive when contacted). And we would still stay here again. Were even talking about having my wifes upcoming birthday celebration here in the future! So in summary: great place, highly recommend! Robert Stayed Jul, 2019 Review This condo was very nicely situated near Estes Park, easy to get to, and had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The living area had a gas fireplace and was stocked with a variety of books, games and puzzles. We utilized the kitchen and propane grill on the deck to cook dinner, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils. The keyless number-coded entry was handy; we didnt have to keep track of a key. We wished the parking places were marked for each unit, as other units guests would park in the spots closest to our door. We were told ahead of time to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, because they would not be furnishing any additional, and we were glad we did, because we needed extra for our 4-night stay.
