This mountain retreat offers stunning views of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide from the banks of the Big Thompson. Aspen groves and spruce trees surround this truly perfect riverfront escape.Located on Hwy 66, it is just a few minutes from the south entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, and walking distance to the Rock Inn, a favorite local eatery.
The first floor features the open-concept living, kitchen and dining areas. The oversized rustic table in the dining area comfortably seats six. The kitchen has full-size appliances and everything necessary for a home-cooked meal. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area let in plenty of natural light while showcasing the view of the river and the foothills of the Rockies.Just past the living area is a door leading out to the deck, with immaculate views of the Big Thompson River and the Rocky Mountain foothills. To the right of the living area is the master bedroom, with a king bed, beautiful views, a walk-in closet and an ensuite bath. At the top of the stairs is the lounge area, featuring a pool table and the second full bath. Flanking the lounge area on either side are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed.Tranquility on the River Three has everything needed to be the perfect base camp for your Rocky Mountain adventure. This luxurious 3BR/2.5BA townhome, located a stone's throw away from beautiful Fall River, offers two floors of relaxation and solitude. You are also a short distance to the Fall River North Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.Enjoy meals and family time in the open-concept kitchen, dining and living area. Wonderful property

We've stayed a number of properties in Estes Park over the years. It's our go-to getaway destination. This property was our favorite so far. Beautiful views of the river and meadow through the huge window in the family room, a pool table upstairs, and a full desk in one of the bedrooms. Clean, updated, and overall just wonderful.

Review

We stayed during the Elk Festival at the end of September. I never imagined all the fun elk activity we witnessed in our own back yard. We heard the elks buggling and even watched a showdown between two males. When the elk were away, the turkey did play! And when there were no wildlife around, the sound of the rambling river was enough to lower our stress level. A beautiful place, and convenient location. I'm very grateful and would return!

Our Home Away From Home

We stayed at Tranquility 3 for many years, it truly feels like our second home. The community of Estes Park is full of fine folks and we’ve come to call some our friends! Having RMNP near by and endless nature encounters is Colorado at its finest. After a busy day, having a place to hang your hat is the best!

Our Home Away From Home

A little piece of heaven

Tranquility . . . a perfect name for this spot, right next to the river! We enjoyed our stay which included a beautiful snowfall towards then end of our trip. This place has everything we need, and so easy to access the park and downtown (despite the road construction). A+

Wonderful stay at beautiful and convenient location

So enjoyed our stay at Tranquility on the River 3. Beds were all very comfortable. The large 2 car garage was wonderful to have access to regarding bear potential concerns. The views were amazing ... longs peak, the river babbling right out the back deck , the elk visiting nightly, the meadow and mountainside. Kitchen was equipped well with many extra useful gadgets but could use some refresh on the coated pans and chipped dishes. Home was sufficiently clean and ready for our stay. (Unfortunately Did not find the extra linens until last day of stay but plenty available in upstairs bath) The flooring could use some deeper cleaning (both wood and carpet). We purchased cleaning products as we had a little one crawling and walking but sure would have appreciated access to ones preferred by the owners and saved our extra expense. Proximity to beaver meadow entrance is so convenient!!! as well as nearby wonderful restaurants Bird and Jims and The Rock Inn and Country Market for groceries and Doughnut Hauss! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home and letting others enjoy..."not for us alone" Hope to stay again very soon!

Amazing views

This house was amazing. Woke up to a herd of elk in the backyard. House views were breathtaking from every room. Very clean and beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Tranquility on the River Along with Lots of Fun

We rented Tranquility on the River units Three and Four to accommodate our kids and grandchildren. We wanted to spend a Christmas all together with an emphasis on experiences instead of gifts. With a base number of 13 ranging in age from 8 to 70-somethings, including teens, and college kids, it was more action-packed than tranquil, but it was what just we wanted. We played lots of games. The foosball and pool tables saw a lot of action, but we also had enough room for a variety of games, puzzles, watching holiday sports, shared meals and snacks. The location was great! We ran out of time to do everything on our list, but we bowled, rode the Mountain Coaster, spotted some wildlife, enjoyed the holiday lights, hung out together, and had a Christmas vacation none of us will ever forget. The Christmas trees were a hit. We added decorations and stockings. And, to the delight of our 8 year old, who wondered how he'd find us, Santa arrived. The big kids wrote Santa notes, made reindeer tracks and left footprints.

The place was very spacious and comfortable. You cannot beat the location!!!! Within 2 miles to downtown and park entrance. The river that run just a feet away from our deck was our sound machine at night and great place to do a little fishing when we had a spare minute. The house was clean and the staff was great in communication. Will book again for sure!

Great trip

Great location and setup for our family of 6 adults. Close to park entrance and Estes. Advantage is don't have to drive through Estes to get to park entrance; located between the two. Pool table was fun evening activity. Saw some elk out the window. Caught several trout in river in backyard. Third stay in this home for a reason.

We were in town for a wedding in Fort Collins, stayed in Fort Collins 3 nights and then 2 here. Location is as described and view is beautiful. Relaxing on the deck was my favorite part. As the description states there is no air conditioning. Afternoons were warmer especially upstairs. There are windows you can open but several did not work. I did contact management to let them know. We ate at Big horn restaurant a couple of times. Very good! Scots tackle rents fishing poles by the day. My daughter caught a small trout in the River. We did the Bear Lake corridor drive. The views are amazing! Also highly recommend Horsetooth Reservoir just outside of Fort Collins for the most amazing sunset Ive ever seen. My daughter and boyfriend did the 4 hour horseback ride with SKhorses. It was a great ride! With sightings of Elk and deer. We loved the area and will definitely be back to visit again!

Relaxing

This vacation rental was great. We had elk walk right in front of the back window. It has great reviews. We did have a maintenance issue but it was taken care of promptly. The only complaint I have was that we were notified by management that they had to access our unit due to a wi fi issue in the unit next door and we were already gone on a hike without cell service so they allowed someone in our unit without our knowledge or the ability to be present.

Overall, nice place to spend the weekend

There were a few upkeep issues that we found, but the property manager was very quick to address them. Great location next to the river and huge beautiful windows overlook Rocky Mountain National Park.

Excellent location and home!

Loved the location of this home, backing to the river and the views of mountains! The property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed seeing elk almost daily in the back of the property. The management was informative with check-in and check-out. We also asked to extend our stay and they quickly were able to accomodate us. The only negative was that the WiFi service was weak; however, we did not need it so that did not impact our stay. I would highly recommend this home!

LOCATION and Property are awesome. Right on the river elk in pasture nearby and cross river right by property. Great location

Overall experience was great. We had a heram of elk in the back along the stream the whole weekend. What a great experience! Neighborhood was extremely quite and well out of the hustle and bustle of Estes Park. Location to RMNT entrance was ideal. Overall great property.

Stunning

We went with friends for a birthday celebration and the view is stunning. I didnt realize it didnt have AC but between the fans and mountain air of leaving windows open it was great! Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. The location couldn't be better -- very convenient and close to both Rocky Mountain Natl Park and to downtown Estes Park. The river in back is amazingly close to the back deck and you can watch it through the big window when inside. We really enjoyed the high ceilings, pool table, spacious kitchen, and other things. It wasn't perfect: there was a little mold in the downstairs shower, one window blind didn't work, the washer only worked on the "quick wash" cycle, and there were really only comfortable seats in the living room for three people, as the glider love seat was very uncomfortable. Overall, though, it's hard to imagine a more enjoyable place to stay for the price. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful view and the creek outside was peaceful to listen to. The inside was clean and comfortable. The only things that made me rate this place 4 stars instead of 5 were the beds are uncomfortable, and some of the blinds didn't work so we couldn't open all the windows to cool off the upstairs. Overall it was a very nice stay and my family enjoyed it.

Beautiful Location
