I especially love the character of the home & the neighborhood! Our kids loved the basement & backyard. The management co was VERY responsive & friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed. My husband and I stayed in the Master Suite located in the newly renovated basement. The bed was comfortable, we opened the two windows for fresh air, and the bathroom was well built.We spent a lot of time on the bench outside overlooking the lake. We also had an easy walk to the lake and the American Legion now open to the public where we had drinks and played pool. We were also very close to Estes Park downtown and the park entrances. Kate Stayed Jul, 2024 Review We stayed at this house for a week while we had an event at the Fairgrounds- this house was exactly what we needed. The house itself was exactly as billed and made for a great home base. The screened in porch was especially nice during the afternoon storms. The house is walkable to the fairgrounds as well as to the golf course, fishing, and downtown for food and shopping. Within a 10-15 minute drive you can get up into Rocky Mountain National Park or into Thompson Canyon to look for wildlife or go hiking which is all to say the location is amazing.
