My group had an amazing stay! The place comfortably fits 6, the kitchen had more than enough cookware/dishes, and beautiful ocean views from the porch, which was a great place for dinner and games. Would stay again!

Review

Great stay with all the amenities including puzzles and games in the cottage. A peaceful and quiet beach. They even allowed an early check in of 2 hours. Would definitely stay here again! Only downside, if you travel without a vehicle, ubers are more expensive and take a while to get to the beach.

Great location with beach a few steps away

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the house. Beach is wonderful. Beds are comfortable. Big new house going up next door changes the view but it is still special. Close without being too close to downtown action. Convenient to everything Folly. Can watch surfers in the AM. Shower needs adjusting as we could only get very hot or cold water, no in between.

Fantastic Getaway

Has everything you need to have a fun week at the beach. We specifically enjoyed sitting on the deck watching and listening to the ocean. We saw dolphins several times while We love this beautiful beach house! Its just steps from the ocean! Weve stayed here before and well be back. we were there. The beach is not too crowded so it feels private. Well definitely go back again!

Great Beach Cabin

As advertized. Clean, cozy place on the beach. Window unit on closed in porch was appreciated. Fully stocked kitchen. Dont forget to look under beds for extra blankets and pillows... PM was 45 min late in sending check in instructions. All in all great place.

Beach fun

Great location and right on the beach with plenty of room, as the beach is not crowded at all. One thing we didn't realize till we got there is there was active construction but they didn't work on Saturday and Sunday at least. But the other days they started hammering at a.m. bring her and beach chairs as the beach chair is there are mostly broken. All appliances work and the beds are comfortable. Sheetz and towers will washed in very heavily scented detergent but we as the owners if they could consider otherwise in the future. Definitely use bug spray a dawn and dusk on the dock as there are sand fleas that we brought home a lot of bites from. With all that said, our stay was wonderful and we would still recommend the place. The place will sleep three couples comfortably.

Location is absolutely perfectwake up and you can be on the beach in 1 minute or just admire the view from the porch. Easy to walk to stuff in town or even to the light house the other direction.The place is a bit dated and the bathroom a little small but it was very clean and organized. If we come back to Folly beach wed strongly consider another stay here!

Review

Maggie's Getaway is a cozy, comfortable, well appointed apartment on the top floor of a 2-storey house, with fantastic views of the beach and ocean. Wonderful, quiet spot to get away, but still close to Charleston. It was easy to find and access, very clean and well prepared, the hosts and rental agency sent tons of information and welcomed us graciously. We enjoyed walking on the beach and the pier and the inviting community of Folly Beach. Bicycles and beach gear provided. Lots of restaurants to choose from in Folly Beach, and a short drive to Charleston too. We would love to go back!

Lovely Folly Beach Home

We had such a wonderful week at Maggie's Beachfront. We loved everything about the house. It truly is like stepping into your own home away from home. The beach is beautiful as always and Maggie's has a lovely yard with Folly foliage to frame the view as you look out from the house. It was full moon week and it was just beautiful every day and night!So many activities in and around Folly Beach and Charleston. This was our 14th trip and we never lack for things to do or repeat....but we always enjoy the beach the most. Every year we bring monopoly on vacation and this year we drove a smaller car and couldn't fit extras. To our delight there was a brand new Charleston Opoly in the house! It was such a fun suprise so thank you for that Maggie and for sharing you beautiful home! We are excited to return!

Best vacation ever

Absolutely loved our time at the beach house. Maggie was a wonderful host who kept us updated as needed throughout the visit. Best part of the location was it was a bit away from the crowds but not too far not to walk. Enjoyed listening to the ocean throughout the day.

Enjoyable stay

We had a very enjoyable stay. As it was our 30th anniversary, the owner had a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses and fresh flowers waiting for usa very warm welcome and appreciated touch. Loved the proximity to the beach!
