The house its just amazing. We couldnt get enough of the beautiful views. Very spacious and clean. Overall was a great experience, we had so much fun in the mountains. Wish we could have stayed more.Two things to be aware of - if is winter the garage is a bit of a challenge, there is snow everywhere and you will have to shovel yourself. Make sure you have a AWD and good tires. Secondly, always check the water when you arrive and let the host know as soon as you can if theres is any issues. unfortunately we were without water for one whole day expecting that the well would recover quickly. Host Emergency number works great and they sent someone. But it was past office hours so we had to wait until late night to have the water fixed.Thank you SkyRun for hosting us, we loved the experience and we will definitely come back.

Stayed with a group of 8 for a weekend trip from Denver. Roads going there were a bit difficult with several inches of snow the night driving up there, handled well with an AWD SUV with snow tires. Driveway was the most difficult in terms of snow accumulation, with about 8 inches of snow. The next day the driveway was plowed, which was really nice. Views from the balcony are incredible. House is huge and fit 8 comfortably. In the morning there was a big horn sheep right outside the bedroom, incredible! The day of checkout it was incredibly windy, but the other days were nice. Would definitely stay here again. They had all the basics we needed (shampoo, coffee, etc) provided, which was nice. Pans were usable but not nice. It might benefit from a walkthrough of the utensils as some of the knives were incredibly dull and breaking at the handle, etc. Overall great trip.

We stayed here for a Bachelorette weekend and it was amazing. Beautiful views and huge space that was great for entertaining. Only slight drawback is that it is a bit of a drive to denver/Boulder, but we knew that going into it. We really enjoyed having big dinners and breakfasts at the home surrounded by the Mountain Views! Hot tub was great, lots of games and space!

Fabulous Location!
Our family came together for Memorial Day weekend and it was amazing. The house is gorgeous and the view is phenomenal. We loved cooking and playing games when it rained and hiking when it was not. We loved this location and we will rent again!

Gorgeous property and clean interior that fit 6 of us comfortably. Excellent hiking options right out of the front door. View off the porch is something special. About 35-45 minutes from activities in Boulder and Denver so expect a commute back and forth if your going to those locations.

Property was beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer. The fire burner, deck and hot tub with the views were incredible. Went to many restaurants, golf, Rocky Mountain National Park and Boulder. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Simple maintenance issues
Wonderful place, would like to stay there again.Just a few maintenance items should be addressed:Only (1) jet in the hot workingmaster bedroom sink slow drainagetoaster oven on main floor needs replacementBasement on and off had a septic fault smell Mouse poop in the downstairs kitchen drawersOutside grill upstairs could not achieve temperature We were told upon arrival that the upstairs oven and stove needs work, so that would still need attentionAll pots, pans, food processer needed cleaning badly (from last tenant(.

This location really can't be beat: we rented Lookout Lodge to house a group of wedding guests and the Lodge stole the show. Incredible amenities, absolutely gorgeous views, responsive hosts, and a fun little drive through the mountains to get there to top it all off. I would highly recommend Lookout Lodge for any group gathering/vacation, it was a wonderful experience.

My group of 7 had a great stay! The house is beautiful and has a fantastic view. Everything is as described. When we had some trouble getting the oven to work, the owner was extremely responsive, and even went out of their way to drop off a large toaster oven to use in the meantime. Would highly recommend and we plan on staying again!!

This place was an absolute dream! Unbeatable views - games for the whole family, snow shoes, the kids loved the play structure - and the hot tub was lovely! We loved the nearby town of Nederland and it was 45 min from Denver - so we got to check our sites there! Altitude is no joke - so if youre flying in from lower elevation - give yourself time to adjust and drink lots of water - some doctors can prescribe preemptive meds to help - as this home is over 8,000 ft elevation. We felt comfy and at ease here and would definitely come back!

The host was extremely friendly, allowed us to check in early as she was replenishing our firewood. The house is absolutely beautiful and the location just asif youre not from the area though, you will absolutely feel the thin air struggle being over 8k feet in elevation but we loved it otherwise

I will definitely remember sitting in the hot tub on the massive porch while it snowed all around us and I looked at the stunning view of the Continental Divide!I would come back here in a heartbeat. This home was perfect for our large family coming together for a few days in the mountains. It's a beautiful location with a gorgeous view! Everything was as advertised. The home is clean, well stocked, and really pretty. Linda was so responsive to questions and the bit of help that we needed. We highly recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back ourselves another time.

Staying in this home was incredible, it exceeded our expectations. The views, the outdoor fireplace, the hot tub, the big open kitchen, the cozy rooms - were just a few things that made the few days magical. There is access to a hiking trail next to the property (highly recommend). Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely Amazing
Absolutely amazing! Breathtaking views from this location. Fabulous layout and decor. All the modern amenities you could want. Plenty of room for kids and adults to play and relax. Would highly recommend.I have stayed at this property two times and each time was like living a dream. A great place to enjoy the amenities there or go sight seeing to check out other areas. The house has so many amenities, you may not want to leave it when you see how comfortable you are with just staying there. I would definitely go back.again.

Rocky Mountain High
There is nothing quite like sitting in a hot tub and watching the snow come down over the peaks. A cozy home away from home with some amazing space and amenities. Close to everything but not too close. Access to skiing, hiking, Casinos, Nederland, Golden, and Boulder are all less than 45 minutes away. And, yet all far enough away from the crowds that you can relax and retreat. Keep an eye for the local moose!

Breathtaking beauty
This home is one of the most beautiful I've ever stayed in and is surpassed only by the mountains around it. The owner has thought of everything needed for comfort and fun! The decor is very well done so as not to distract from the view outside every of the many large windows.

Peaceful, serene, and "omg" sunsets!
The views from this house are truly breathtaking. You will get an unobstructed panoramic view of the sunset over the mountains every single night - absolutely stunning. The inside of the house was great too! Very spacious while still keeping that warm & cozy mountain home feel. I loved staying here! Would absolutely come back in a heartbeat.

The views you see while looking at the pictures, do not do it justice. They truly are breathtaking. Open floor where you can hang out together reading while family/friends play games, and still be apart of the “groupâ€.
Your stay at this beautiful home will not disappoint. I highly recommend when you stay. You need to go hiking, along with taking lots of pictures. Enjoy your company with the fire pit, and the peaceful nights.

Inspiring Views and Gracious Living Space
I'm not an artist, but the view to the snow covered peaks at the horizon, and the small details observed in the natural nooks and crannies of the forest trails nearby inspired me to both photograph and draw them as a way of saving my memories. Lookout Lodge has been the perfect place for me to rest, recharge, and enjoy the companionship of my friends and family who were fellow guests. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Lovely Home in Awesome Setting
We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in awesome surroundings. The deck views of the continental divide are amazing, creating the perfect setting for conversation or a novel. The house itself is spacious and comfortable with all necessary amenities for a relaxing, enjoyable time. The hot tub just off the deck is an extra bonus and a nice hiking trail is close by. A great place to enjoy special time. Highly recommend.

Amazing Views
This lodge is a great place for a retreat. The lodge itself is beautiful with plenty of room for family or group gatherings, space inside to relax and a wonderful deck to look at the mountains, and occasional wildlife. One day we were visited by a moose, who stayed and relaxed with us!! And of course plenty to do outside such as hiking, or stay by the house to grill and enjoy the hot tub. Highly recommend!!

A Place for All Seasons
First time at this location was in the summer with small children. Another time it was in the winter with a Women's spirituality group. Perfect Colorado mountain spot for any group any time. I'll be back!

Spectacular view and relaxing retreat
This house has been the perfect spot for several of our family vacations. Beautiful decor and comfortable layout allow for a calm retreat, a family reunion, or a gathering of friends. The spaciousness of the house allows for multiple families/couples to stay together and yet each with their own space. The deck is incredible from sun up to sun down and beyond. The location includes a remarkable view of the continental divide while also remaining relatively close to the Boulder/Denver metro areas as well as a myriad of mountain sports adventures. The nearby town of Nederland has some wonderful restaurants and shops. You won’t regret booking this house. We can’t wait to return!

Phenomenal Mountain Retreat!!!
We’ve stayed at this location a few times to visit family and each time has been better than the last. Wake up in the morning to have a cup of coffee on the back deck and take in the gorgeous views of the Rocky Mountains as the sun rises. There’s plenty of space to play board games, card games, or put together a puzzle. A perfect retreat that’s still close to Boulder and Nederland for any restaurants and activities you’re looking to do. We’ve even seen a moose walk past the windows on the bottom level! (Make sure you stay inside and leave them be - they are wild animals after all) This is a very spacious house perfect for your family to meet and relax in while enjoying the beauty of Colorado.
