One of our new favorites in Ned. Views that do not disappoint in a beautifully designed, modern space. We had a minor issue with the remotes and Wendy was super responsive getting it resolved immediately. We saw sunrises, snow, and even elk during our stay here. Book it, you wont be disappointed!

Beautiful and eccentric home. The only problem was dirty dishes and having to wash all the dishes before we could use them! Loved the view.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Timberline Haus. The house itself is stunning architecturally yet comfortably laid out. We loved the views, porches, swings and games for kidsthey really thought of everything! Plenty of paper towels, trash bags, towels, etc. too. Also, Nederland is such a cute funky mountain town to spend a few days. Book this house - you wont be disappointed!

What a dream! Perfect Location, Stunning Views
What an exceptional property! Perfect blend of clean and modern yet comfy and cozy! Almost at the peak of a mountain with unobstructed, stunning views. Perfect temperatures in the summer! Imagine being less than 30 minutes from Boulder, the city that has everything you could possibly need AND less than a 2 mile walk/run/drive to the adorable small town of Nederland. Can only imagine how wonderful this place would be during Ski Season. While we typically ski other areas of Colorado, after staying in Nederland, we would definitely consider coming back to this house and skiing Eldora. We have stayed in so many vacation homes and this was definitely one of the best. Top notch. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

An ideal retreat space
We booked the Timberline Haus for a small artist retreat, and it turned out to be the ideal location! The terrace is perfect for morning coffee and writing. Every indoor space receives ample natural light that is conducive to creative practices. The options for hiking are ample and conveniently nearby. We look forward to staying again

The house is beautiful with great views of the reservoir and mountains. It is situated close to Boulder, Rocky Mtn. Natl Park, Estes. Great kitchen and well equipped. It is very remote however and there is not much to do in the town of Nederland but its accessible for driving excursions. Hot tub does not work too well.

We are about 17 miles from Boulder and roughly 40 miles from Estes Park, tucked into the front range. Our little community offers great local restaurants, bakeries, and breweries, and it has endless opportunities for those who want to explore the mountains and enjoy the fresh air at 8,200+ ft elevation. We are sorry to hear that you were having trouble with the hot tub. The hot tub works to its full capacity and no issues were reported to us. Amazing spacious home with incredible views of the reservoir from everywhere in the house. We loved the huge patio that was great for grilling and sitting by the fire with friends. The living room has beautiful natural light and a cozy fireplace with lots of games. The kitchen is well stocked and has so much counter space! The hot tub views are breathtaking. Will be finding any excuse to come back!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The house and views were stunning and it was one of the most pleasant and relaxing vacations we've ever had. Not only did we love the place but the SkyRun team, especially Linda made everything so easy and hospitable. Linda was so responsive and helpful with any requests or questions we had. She had great recommendations and made finding a driver for the airport seamless. We can't recommend this place enough!

Stunning views and exceptional service
We had a fantastic stay during spring break. About 5 min to Nederland, 25 min from Boulder and 15 min from Eldora, youre not far from anything. The house is stunning and so comfortable. We had great communication with SkyRun, the managers and they were available to answer all questions. Loved the hot tub after skiing! 10/10 would book again.

This house is a beautiful house, modern and clutter free, amazing views. It was super child friendly which we did not even expect. We had two toddlers with us and they had a blast with all the books and entertainment that was there in every closet. They even had a gate for the stairs that we installed. That was a super pleasant surprise and made our life so much easier. Most importantly, Linda was so amazing as a host. She communicated with us and made us feel super safe since we are from California and are not used to driving in snow. She made us feel very comfortable and was there to help us every time we asked her for assistance. There was an electrical issue that came up and Linda was there to fix it as soon as we contacted her even though it was late at night. I cant thank her enough for making our trip so much more relaxing and stress free. Overall I definitely recommend this house.

Fantastic location, beautiful modern house with a great wraparound balcony overlooking the Barker reservoir. What a view!The house is very clean and communication excellent. Immediately took care of a small issue we had. Expect to drive at least 30-45 mins to RMNP. Lots of other great places close by to hike.No problem easily sleeping 3 adults and two children. Will definitely only go to this place in CO/RMNP if available.

Great family rental
This house had everything you need if you have children. Toys, games, high chair, pack n play, baby gate. You name it! Im only giving 4 stars because the sunscreen behind the projector screen didnt stay down so we were unable to watch movies or tv unless it was dark outside and with it being summer, that wasnt until after our kids were in bed. We also didnt have hot water the last night of our trip and had to take hot showers. Our coffee maker didnt work the first morning; however, SkyRun personnel delivered a new one to our house that day so we had fresh coffee in the morning. Overall, I would stay here again.

The view is beyond stunning. Overall, the housewith its smart features and glazing galoreis incredibly unique and excellently designed to bring the outside in. Air conditioning was a bit of an issue in the summer as the individual units didnt seem to respond to the remote and opening windows for ventilation at night could bring in bugs, but portable fans are available. The main concern when booking this property was its distance to major attractions such as Rocky Mountain NP, but the drives from Nederland (a cool little town on its own) to RMNP, Boulder, and Idaho Springs are all scenic and manageable.

The summertime can sometimes be challenging on a rare, very warm day, as almost all homes in the mountains do not have central air conditioning, and the trick to closing shades during the day and opening them up at night is the trick we suggest. The homes are so well insulated here, of course. The location is remote enough to feel like a getaway, yet manageable to drive to more adventures here. We booked this unit for our leadership offsite. It was stunning and perfect. The only glitch was that the hottub was out of commission for our entire trip. However, the property manager did a great job of communicating throughout. We'll be back!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my 3 friends. Everyone was amazed by the views from the living area and waking up to snow covered trees was lovely. Everything you need at a short term rental was here. About an hour out of Denver and 30 min from Boulder. Small market in town if you need something and ski resort 15 min away. Ive stayed in 50+ Short term rentals for work and travel and this is easily in the top 5. Views, location, amenities, check in all good

Amazing house and location, although a couple of appliances were a little too "smart''. For example, the little fan/units in the rooms had a mind of their own, completely ignored the controller and worked when they wanted to. It wasn't that big of a deal though. The only truly disappointing thing was the tv situation. Not having one in all the bedrooms doesn't make any sense. Also, the projector in the living room is awesome at night. However, it is impossible to watch anything during the day due to the brightness. I would highly recommend putting tv's in each bedroom, and doing something in the living room to make watching tv in the day possible. Aside from that, the house was really cool and the location/views are amazing

This is a beautiful property! The property mgr was fabulous & even brought us Texans some more blankets to help us stay cozy! Communication was great. Home is very spacious. It was super windy, but that was stated in the description & we were expecting it. The kitchen is well equipt & we were able to make nice dinners, breakfasts & even did a little baking without worry! Town is super close for quick trips for groceries and its a short, scenic drive to Boulder, which we loved stopping to explore along the way! Overall, this was just an amazing place to spend our little get away!

Wonderful Mountain Home - perfect for family!
While this house is modern in design- it's perfectly accommodating for families large + small! The set up is ideal for kids in the lower level and adults in the master suite upstairs. Lots of room in between to share meals, watch a movie, play games, etc (HUGE game selection was so fun!!) I can't say enough how comfortable we were- for awhile just my husband and I- we watched a bald eagle soar right past us on the upper deck, and even saw a moose on the road to the house! Settled in nature, but for sure all the comforts of home. ((*I am a chef so I *always* appreciate VRBO's with great quality cooking items- knives and pans, even the awesome appliances! Thank you for sharing with all of us!) Location was fabulous too- just down the road into town... quick to hit a store or pop up for coffee. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the home- but also took time to visit the breweries, Crosscut pizza, and more in town! Hikes, mountain drives + even a snowy morning... we loved our trip so much! *So when can we go back to sweet, sweet Nederland???

This was possibly the best Airbnb/hotel Ive ever stayed in my whole life! The views are absolutely gorgeous and the modern furnishings inside were lovely. Everything was as it said on the listing. The hot tub has an incredible view as well - definitely try it in the daytime! Nederland is also an amazing place to be. Although it is far from the airport/Denver, Boulder was not too far, and the town of Nederland had some surprising gems like coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to splurge on an amazing wonderful Colorado experience that youll remember forever!!!

This a beautiful house and ideal location. We love to day hike - 9-12 miles - and then return home to relax, make a nice dinner, watch the sun go down and the moon come up while resting our weary muscles in the hot tub. This property ticked every box! The view of the reservoir and mountain s is fabulous. It can be windy - but just need to put on a sweater or head inside and enjoy the view through the floor to ceiling windows. We will be back.

My husband and I stayed at Timberline Haus and had a fantastic stay- from watching the sunrises and sunsets through the huge amazing windows, to walking into town for a coffee/beer/pizza, to skiing 10 min away, to running the trails...the house provided luxury and proximity to all the activities. We even cooked Thanksgiving dinner there and every appliance/kitchenware we needed was there. There’s no place like this on the mountain!

We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals but none of them compare to this one. The view and home is even better than the pictures. The staff answered text messages and emails within a couple hours. Everything we needed (forgot) was there, and we were beyond relaxed. My husband did the Boulder Ironman 70.3 and it was a beautiful drive to Boulder and really not too far. There is plenty of room in the house for a good sized family to stay. Oh and the sunrise, sunset and stargazing....unbelievable. Beyond impressed. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Book this place for any sort of weekend. 2.2 mile walk to the town of Nederland that has anything youd need for the house. You walk down the hill and guess what?? You can grab the bus to downtown boulder and then another bus to Denver or to the airport. The only thing is that youd need a car if you have an early morning flight because its way expensive for an early morning cab just to boulder. BOOK THIS PLACE. AMAZING.

We loved our stay. SkyRun was great to work with. This house has incredible views and a deck that is unforgettable, and it's all off the grid! Probably not recommended for those with health issues or a history of altitude illness as the elevation is nearly 8,400ft. Also would recommend a 4WD vehicle in the winter months.

We loved our stay at this beautiful modern home! The view cannot be beat and the home was perfectly comfortable for us (two adults plus baby).
