For a family of 4 this cabin had plenty of space. It was clean, fully equiped (we love to cook ourselves), the kids could both have their own bedroom, ... It is very close to the crocery store and gas station, also close to several places for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. At the same time it is located in quiet and beautiful surroundings, we even had the same deer visiting us every evening. It is located 35 minutes from the West entrance of the National Park. If you want to visit Bear lake, you will drive about another 2 hours through the park, but it is a beautiful scenery so totally worth it. About 45 minutes away is winter park where there's several activities like downhill mountain biking with Trestle bike, which we loved! Both the cabin itself and the location were great! The master on the 3rd bathroom was small. The biggest downside for us was the thermostat temperature changing while we were gone. After a long day in the cold snow, we would come back to an even colder cabin. It would take over an hour to warm the house to comfortThis really sucked when having elders and small children in your group.Over all the home and location was great. As for Skyrun, my they were not very considerate of the flight cancellations during the southwest meltdown. Skyrun added additional stress to an already horrible situation. Beds, linens and furnishings were all super comfortable.Please note, if youre traveling during winter be sure you have snow socks/chains. On our arrival day we could not get up the hill (Village road) to the rental house without them.It also snowed pretty heavy on NYE and there were many people who couldnt get up to the ski resort (the top of the hill on Village road). Beds, linens and furnishings were all super comfortable.Please note, if youre traveling during winter be sure you have snow socks/chains. On our arrival day we could not get up the hill (Village road) to the rental house without them.It also snowed pretty heavy on NYE and there were many people who couldnt get up to the ski resort (the top of the hill on Village road).
