Lahini Stayed Nov, 2023 Review Stayed here for a couple nights during thanksgiving weekend and it was the perfect spot. So much to do and see nearby and the house itself has gorgeous views. If you like to cook like us, this house is equipped with all the spices, pots/pans, etc. It housed 9 of us with more than enough space/beds. We accidentally locked ourselves out one evening and Skyrun was so quick to respond and got us back inside within minutes. Highly recommend this place for a large group, we will definitely be back! Very easy access to the house. the gps took us right there ! I loved winter park and riding the gondolas, along with the restaurant on top of the mountain ! nice trails up there to hike as well and shops and more restaurants at the bottom. also loved rocky mountain stables that was also close by to ride the horses in the mountains at snow mountain ranch there was also bike riding there among other things great for kids! also loved being 20 minutes away from the rocky mountains !!! they were breathtaking ! grocery store right across the street! great place ! We traveled as a family of 8 and had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked.The two rooms on the main level of the house did not have lights, just small lamps. This was a small inconvenience that made it difficult to see in the room. bunk beds are on the lowest level along with work out equipment. Not the best set up for small children. The master on the 3rd bathroom was small. The biggest downside for us was the thermostat temperature changing while we were gone. After a long day in the cold snow, we would come back to an even colder cabin. It would take over an hour to warm the house to comfortThis really sucked when having elders and small children in your group.Over all the home and location was great. As for Skyrun, my they were not very considerate of the flight cancellations during the southwest meltdown. Skyrun added additional stress to an already horrible situation. We will not be staying at any properties managed by Skyrun again Host's response: Vivian and Bryan, We graciously changed your reservation dates 3 times with all of your flight cancellations but no refunds. Our cancellation policy is strict and in our policy we state we do not refund for weather changes. The heat works great and we have not had other complaints. Beds, linens and furnishings were all super comfortable.Please note, if youre traveling during winter be sure you have snow socks/chains. On our arrival day we could not get up the hill (Village road) to the rental house without them.It also snowed pretty heavy on NYE and there were many people who couldnt get up to the ski resort (the top of the hill on Village road). We had a large family (including 2 toddlers) that fit well into the space. The deck, specifically, is pretty amazing during the warm weather; we ended up spending most of our time soaking up the sun. There was a mix up of when trash was to be picked up but they came and picked up trash after we notified them. Communication was easy through text. Appliances were updated and easy to use. Our oversight came with this listing not having AC, but it was cool at night thank goodness. The patio was great but the living room area was a bit small. Overall, it was a good place for a getaway. Whether sitting in the living room looking out the large sliding doors or sitting on the deck enjoying the sunset, the view is spectacular. The beds are very comfortable and there were enough of them to accommodate our large family. It was a pleasure cooking in the (very well stocked) kitchen and the open floor plan made it possible to cook and visit at the same time. It is very conveniently located to a market for any last minute grocery needs and walking around the neighborhood made me appreciate the wide expansiveness of the location. Close to a couple of cute towns for shopping and restaurants, it still felt like a wonderful escape from city life. We will definitely return to this gem of a getaway retreat!
