The hot tub provided a perfect spot for relaxation, boasting breathtaking views of the surroundings. The only downside was the icy back deck, which made it less functional during the winter. Nevertheless, it was an overall fantastic experience. The game room and hot tub was a huge hit and provided lots to do throughout the entire weekend. We cooked multiple meals in the kitchen which had all the equipment we needed to make food for our group. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of options. Views were an added bonus. Downstairs was a bit colder than the rest of the house which may warrant an extra blanket for anyone sleeping there. Also the neighborhood roads can be tricky going up to the cabin in winter months so be prepared for icy conditions. Overall we would love to stay here again! BG Stayed Jan, 2024 Amazing for big family gatherings This home is even prettier than the pictures. We rented it for 3 days for a family new years/late holiday gathering and we all were so impressed with the space. The home is very well appointed, immaculately clean and we loved that they had left up the simple & classy holiday decor even though it was after New Years, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe of the space. The views are stunning, the hot tub absolute perfection and so clean, the game room an amazing space for kids & adults to play and the upstairs loft had so many perfect little toys for the younger kiddos in our group. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes (even kid sized ones), lots of pantry space, a large fridge & even a drink fridge, pans and even two crockpots. We would have loved some larger mixing bowls (there are a few super tiny ones, so we had to use a large pot to mix up pancake batter & to serve salad) and a flatter skillet/pan for making pancakes. The checkin process was easy and promptly communicated, with a few checkins while we were there to ensure everything was going well. Checkout was simple too and we appreciated that there wasn’t a lot of steps to checking out (with linens & such), just basic things to get ourselves out. Overall we def give this home 5 stars, as we couldn’t have asked for a better space for our group! Would definitely come back! The house was nice & fit our big family. It was well stocked with all the essentials. The game room was a hit - enjoyed by both the adults & kids! Only complaint is if youre staying in the basement is there is NO sound barrier. You can hear everything upstairs so its not for light sleepers. (Side note only because Im a clean freak & you pay a pretty good cleaning fee - the basement shower curtain could be changed, it had a gross smell. The house was perfect for our group of eight and provided a great atmosphere/space for us to be together after each day’s adventures. We took full advantage of the game room and hot tub on multiple occasions as well as utilized some of the board games that were available to us. The house was very comfortable and spacious and the master bedroom had a sitting area which offered amazing views and sunlight. The location was perfect for our various day trips. From the moment we arrived, my family was extremely happy with the property and we all agreed that we hit a home run with this booking. While we did not actually see a moose from the lodge, we heard one call on at least 2 evenings. We are already talking about re-booking for a future vacation. Highly recommended.
