We booked this for the 4th of July and it was great! We had 7 adults, 2 children under 4 and a dog and it worked great for everyone. Highly recommend for large groups! The neighborhood was nice to walk around and hit the trails. Conveniently located so was easy access to town too. The only downside was the wi-fi was occasionally slow at night but that was because we had a lot of devices using it at once. Sadaf Samay Stayed Nov, -0001 Great stay with family. Could use better attention to cleanliness. My family had a really nice stay at this property. Positives: location was beautiful. We were surrounded by a forest of trees and it snowed all weekend, making it so peaceful and quiet. Close to town as well for grocery runs. The layout of the property was a little strange, but the listing explains it correctly. It was just a little hard to go back and forth between the houses, taking snow boots on and off. A few annoying things: the loft in the cabin was missing pillowcases on both beds. We eventually found some in a random closet. Also, the temperature in the upper level of the newer cabin was uncontrollably hot, despite turning the thermostat way down. We had to basically keep windows open the whole time to be able to hang out up there. My biggest issue with the place was cleanliness of the cooking pots and baking pans. There were old crusty bits on a lot of the pots that I had to soak and scrub, and both baking sheets literally had the cookie imprints and crumbs left on them. I spent a lot of time cleaning. The kitchen in general was disorganized and poorly stocked with basic pots/pans/utensils. So, if you plan on cooking a lot, bring your own stuff. Leslie Stayed Mar, 2025 Review The view is beautiful. The home is cozy just they need a better cleaning crew lots of dust under the beds and the couch had old popcorn under the cushions. But overall we enjoyed our vacation. We loved each house and the design/minimalism was really nice. We slept well in comfortable beds, enjoyed the steam shower, played a lot of PacMan, loved the mountain views, and enjoyed xc skiing directly from the house. We loved having two houses for privacy and to let our 2-year old get to bed while we stayed up. The houses are very close together, though the path between them is pretty icy in the winter so that's something to be aware of depending on your group. The kitchen worked well for our cooking needs, though they don't provide any spices or olive oil (just something to be aware of when you're packing). We hope to visit again sometime! The location is terrific and the neighborhood is really nice. I will admit that the layout of the main house and carriage house were a bit odd in the sense that the carriage house was larger and had all the seating for the whole group, but it didn’t have the full kitchen like the main house did. So, we spent our Thanksgiving meal in different rooms in the main house because not everyone could fit in the kitchen area (and we didn’t want to carry our warm food over to the carriage house to get cold during the walk over). The carriage house does have the ability to cook some items with a plug in burner, but it couldn’t have cooked an entire meal. The pictures and listing do reflect this.
