It's a very cozy home in a quiet neighborhood, only about a mile-ish walk from Shadow Mountain Lake. (The closest marina is Trail Ridge Marina.) The house was clean and had everything we needed. There's even a horseshoe pit outside the house and a nice deck to sit out on. We had a wonderful stay! No A/C which was a little adjustment for us during afternoons and at night, but most windows can be easily opened and fans made it comfortable. We enjoyed the upstairs loft where we could watch movies as a family. Also liked the spacious areas to sit and drink morning coffee. It’s a perfect place to stay in and enjoy the views, plenty of space to relax with a good book, or play board games in the loft, and play in the snow outside.
