Location was perfect for walkability to restaurants and shops, as well as Lift stops. Top pros:- Location!- Roomy for 2 people, adequate for small family- Kitchen has everything you need- pretty clean and furniture in good condition- Amenities as listed and welcome treats in the unit (a great addition would be a couple of small oxygen boost cans for those not used to elevation)Few cons: - only about 10-15 min of hot water at any given time so space your showers- only option for air circulation is open windows. There is a ceiling fan and plug in fan option in bedroom but the rest of the place would benefit from a ceiling fan for airflow (no central air or heat, radiant floor heating throughout). - Preferences: the curtains in the bedroom were not dark enough for facing the sunrise. A king bed would fit in room and would be nice to have to be able to stretch out sore muscles after skiing and not feel cramped. Overall a great stay and would stay again, thanks! Host's response: Thank you for your feedback. There is heat it is radiant floor heat which is slow to turn up or turn down. No need for central air especially in march as temps do not get above 50 and in summer cool down below 50 at night. The one bedroom is a king bed. My husband and I spent 5 nights in the Trailhead 831 condo the end of May to do some trail running and gravel riding. The condo was great - quiet, bright and cheerful, clean, nicely furnished, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. The in-unit washer and dryer was a very appreciated convenience.. We enjoyed the morning sun on the deck. It is on the third floor so no one above - which we prefer. There is an elevator to help schlep all the gear up/down to/from the condo. The location is perfect for walking to everything in town and easily accessing trails directly from the door. There seems to be a good number of permanent residents in the complex - we enjoyed seeing folks walking their dogs and kids riding their bikes daily. We would definitely stay in this unit again. A couple of things to note: The unit can warm up. We ended up turning the radiant heat WAY down, kept the windows open, closed the window coverings during the day to keep the cool in. It was completely comfortable but it is something to be aware of, especially in the summer months. Mountain nights cool off nicely so if the unit heats up too much during the day, relief will come at night. Secondly, there was not an info book that listed how to work the TVs, thermostat, etc. - just the misc. information folks might want to know about the unit or area. Thankfully, my husband is good at figuring out the electronic related "stuff". We have been coming to WP for 25 years so know our way around but folks unfamiliar might like some local guidance and electronic help. Jeff at Sky Run was friendly and nice to work with. Hallie Stayed Jan, 2020 Review This is a great location within walking distance of restaurants (Deno's and Hernando's Pizza and Pasta Pub), coffee shops (Stoked), and Fireside Market grocery store. There is also a park nearby along with walking trails right outside the door. The full-time residents were friendly and welcoming.
