Host is very responsive and sent someone out almost immediately to unlock the hot tub we were having problems with opening. They were accommodating and quick to respond to our requests. We loved that they had a sled and snow shoes to borrow. Kitchen was well stocked which is important to us bc we cook all of our meals on our ski trip. Shopping, restaurants, etc all within walking distance. Lift Shuttle bus stops easy to access for free transport to resort. Treat of the trip was a visit by a moose in the backyard! I would suggest asking for a snow shovel if there in the winter as there was not one at all! We had a foot of snow on deck when we got there 2 and a half feet by the time we left and were not able to use deck at all or bbq because we had no way to remove the snow. The front entry had snow up to our knees both days there in the morning and my husband had to use a broom to remove enough snow so our kids could walk to car. We also used a broom to dig car out. It being a ski cabin there should be a shovel. Check in is also late 4pm so be aware when booking they are not willing to let you check in early. We parked in guest parking at pm cleaners were leaving but yet still didnt allow check in. It was a great stay they were responsive and the place was very clean and cozy. It's a three story place that offered so much room. The balcony right off the living room has a beautiful view of the mountains and trees. It honestly felt like we weren't in town at all but out in the wilderness!! Hummingbirds flying around as I read my book... Just lovely!! And even though it felt like we were in a more rural area, we were SO close to everything! The location is better than we expected. They aren't lying when they say it's walking distance to everything in town (shopping, restaurant, breweries, fun bars, etc.). A bathroom with shower in every bedroom... a half bath down in the main area... a luxury for seven girls! It was so fun cooking in the kitchen because of the open space. Everyone was able to help out without it being too crowded. Some could sit and have a drink in the living room while we all still chatted together in the kitchen. This is the perfect place for a family or big group of people. If we come back to Winter Park we are definitely booking this place! We all kept saying how cool it'd be in the winter to be there (especially with the hot tub!). It had everything we needed and more. Great communication from the hosts, too.
